So yes, he absolutely would need to compromise with the rest of the party. The claim that "it's Bernie's party now" is premature.

Winning the nomination requires a broader appeal. The simple fact is, moderates outnumber progressives in the Democratic Party right now. The problem is that many progressives considered it a "betrayal" whenever Warren made any efforts to appeal to moderates.
