I personally hope he does a video on the situation in the Philippines. Shutting down opposition media, shooting lockdown violators, extrajudicial killings, authoritarianism seems to be on the rise. There's actually a great analysis detailing the rise of authoritarianism in the Philippines and how Duterte has remained so popular: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=72mcga-A69I&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFIQEXA9JXA5SczSRr6EETR&index=2&t=1s

I think his next topic should cover the farmer's protest in India and its implications for Modi and India's economy. Found a great analysis of India's agricultural sector and the political implications: www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAXsl_APES8&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&ab_channel=MyTake

@vve2059 Who has better and/or spicier food? Mexixo or India?

It's a truism that countries with many resources are poorer while those without aren't. A great example is the Netherlands which just had its election. There's a great analysis of the factors behind the Dutch election: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb

@meltup3668 Yeah it's truly sad to see that the people were so desperate for an alternative that they chose that as their leader

Yeah I agree he did a great job analysing the Ethiopia conflict, the only thing I missed was solutions. If you're interested there's actually a great video that goes in depth about possible solutions to the ethnic tensions and current unrest in Ethiopia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMpbxqLsdZY&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&ab_channel=MyTake

Things may be bad in Lebanon, but its even worse in Yemen with the civil war going on there. To make matters worse, separatists in the South have just declared independence there. There’s an interesting video analysing the Yemen secession crisis as well as a background explainer of Yemen's Civil War and US involvement in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqpHV3xBCBE&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s

That's why the US should ally Russia so it can surround China with US allies. China has been escalating recently e.g. in Taiwan. This video does a pretty good job analysing the renewed tensions between Taiwan and China: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI0foMtF_oU&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&ab_channel=MyTake

Libya was debt free until the West lied in order to overthrow him. There's a great overview of what interests were involved, the origins of the Libyan Civil War and how the West destroyed a nation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qivyrdkQQGA&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s

Another country facing unity problems with a fragile federal arrangement is Ethiopia. If you're interested there's actually a great video that goes in depth about possible solutions to the ethnic regional divisions and current unrest in Ethiopia: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMpbxqLsdZY&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&ab_channel=MyTake

I think opposition leader Tikhanovskaya can only win if she can assure Russia that she won't turn to the West. At least that's my takeaway from this analysis on the origins and likely outcomes of the "Belarus Revolution": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKBYYD8nx4M&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s

This is why Xinjiang is so strategically important to China, hence the Uyghur internment camps. There's actually a great analysis on that as well as what we can DO about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqiaX08uT2E&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&ab_channel=MyTake

It should be about the rising tensions between China and Taiwan. There’s actually a great analysis on the Taiwan-China conflict and the prospects of a Chinese invasion and Taiwanese independence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI0foMtF_oU&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&t=560s&ab_channel=MyTake

Exactly! The next target is Taiwan. China really is getting aggressive and we see it with recent tensions with Taiwan.

@jsgdk What would you say qualifies as Muslim sense of entitlement in India?
7
Well it's a similar thing in Xinjiang. That's why they want to get rid of the Uyghur people, for the Belt & Road initiative. There's a great video explaining the situation with the Chinese concentration camps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GPLjmNK_-YM&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=10&t=61s Ethnic cleansing?

Great stuff! Would love to see a video on the situation in Brazil with the coronavirus and Bolsonaro who claims that "it's just a flu" and has suggested that the military should step in to force reopening. This of course from a guy with great love for Brazil's past military dictatorship. There's a great video about the pandemic in Brazil and Bolsonaros authoritarian tendencies: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4l36bEME_4&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb

Truly a learning moment. I'd love to see him talk about the situation with Separatists in Yemen? There’s a great video analysing the Yemen secession crisis as well as a background explainer of Yemen's Civil War and US involvement in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqpHV3xBCBE&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s

With a more aggressive China, in a post-coronavirus world Europe will have to position itself as an independent bloc between Russia, China and America. At least that's my takeaway from this analysis that looks into the future prospects of the EU after the pandemic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWlxMBYUauI&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s
7
Would love to see him cover the Uyghur genocide in China. There's actually a great analysis on that as well as what we can DO about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqiaX08uT2E&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&ab_channel=MyTake

Sounds like US-Taiwan relationship especially with the recent renewed tensions between China and Taiwan.

Gotta love CaspianReport. I hope he does one on the ongoing situation in Belarus. Actually found a great analysis on the origins and likely outcomes of the "Belarus Revolution": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YKBYYD8nx4M&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s Thoughts?

Always good stuff from Shirvan. I would love to hear Shirvan's take on the situation with no lockdown in Sweden. Everybody has their opinion about it, but few are nuanced. I actually found a great video precisely on this topics. Your thoughts? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e92p_5we6qQ&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s
7
@haruntekin6724 One on one yes, but such a conflict would never be one on one and so in a battle of coalitions i think Turkey is outmatched
7
@marcusjackson5837 Well you could start by telling them to stop meddling in Yemen. America has a big role to play there together with the Saudis.

Trump lied, people died
7
Hopefully he covers the future of Afghanistan under the Taliban. Actually found a great video on what Taliban 2.0 rule will be like and which geopolitical players will step into the vacuum left by the US: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fzZElXS8XRM&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&ab_channel=MyTake
7
Perhaps the EU should ally with Russia to pull it away from China
7
Loved his China video kast week. As a follow-up he should do one on the Uyghur genocide. There's actually a great analysis on that as well as what we can DO about it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqiaX08uT2E&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&ab_channel=MyTake
7
Exactly. Although it can be good when geopolitical interest matches moral imperatives like the West's support of Taiwanese democracy amidst Chinese aggression.

Because generals are promoted based on loyalty not competence.
6
@Junokaii Well several of these countries have already experienced secessionist wars (e.g. Biafra war in Nigeria), but of course only South Sudan has successfully seceded. I think it depends on if they develop successful political institutions to be able to deal with these differences.
6
Next topic should be is China planning an invasion of Taiwan? This video does a pretty good job analysing the renewed tensions between Taiwan and China: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI0foMtF_oU&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=560s&ab_channel=MyTake

I hope he also deals with the diplomatic conflict between France and Turkey with the whole terrorism and cartoons situation in France. Found agreat vid that goes into the whole conflict and the debate between free speech and religion in the context of the France attacks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ahlJXAaH59w&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&ab_channel=MyTake

Water is the root of farming. You see that with the recent farmers protests in India. There's actually a great analysis on those protests and the new agricultural laws in India: Sounds exactly like the situation in India, where they're caught between an inefficiently regulated farming system and the new laws which leave farmers at the mercy of corporations. Found a great analysis on the farmer protests in India and its political/economic implications: I think your next topic should cover the farmer's protest in India and its implications for Modi and India's economy. Found a great analysis of India's agricultural sector and the political implications: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAXsl_APES8&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=1&ab_channel=MyTake

@pranav8532 No one is saying that Pakistan is good. It's worse. But two things can be wrong at the same time. You sound lile an American saying in response to discrimination against black Americans, "Well look at China, their treatment of Uygurs is worse" That's NOT an argument
6
LOL! That's how Saudi Arabia sees Yemen right now. There's a great video that talks about the situation with Separatists in Yemen, as well as a background explainer of Yemen's Civil War and US and Saudi involvement in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqpHV3xBCBE&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s
6
Sounds like Lebanon which is also plagued by sectarian divisions. It was Lebanon's dysfunctional political system that led to the explosion, at least that's my takeaway from this analysis of the situation in Lebanon and its sectarian political system: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJ97kZUDEM0&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s

Damn and now it seems to be the other way around. I think Tikhanovskaya can only win if she can assure Russia that she won't turn to the West.

Always covering under the radar topics Shirvan! I'd love to see your take on the situation with Separatists in Yemen. Came across a great video analysing the Yemen secession crisis as well as a background explainer of Yemen's Civil War and US involvement in it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqpHV3xBCBE&list=PLRE6vgY7NmNFHRj0DwgGj-w0QKYK9s2Mb&index=2&t=0s Your thoughts?

@get there What about when they kidnapped Lebanese prime minister and funding terrorists in Syria and Libya
5
Shirvan should do an update on the Libyan Civil War and how the West lied to overthrow Gaddafi.
