How many men are trying to be in the lives of their children after a split up, but are denied it by the court and an angry mother, men who spend sometimes tens of thousands of dollars to then only get visitation rights and then on top of it called deadbeat dads? Visitation rights don't have an impact on the childs upbringing, so to say that it counts as a single mother household. True deadbeat dad that doesn't want and doesn't care is FAR rarer as women make it out to be. That's the whole problem. People are lying the whole time. It's the same when women call every one of their exes an emotional abuser.

Also what I often see is that women withhold affection, respect and intimacy after a while into a marriage. I think it's coded in their DNA to fall out of love after a while. So much so that I usually don't understand how men can stay for so long sometimes. That's why I'm wondering, why exactly did your husband want a divorce? What I think is also coded in their DNA is that they desperately want to be seen as good in the eyes of society, so they never admit their fault. That's where the disparity comes from between what people say is happening and what I observe to be happening.

I don't see it at all, it's wishful thinking. The only solution where children do nearly as good as with 2 parents staying together is shared parenting and the child spending half it's time at each parents place. It's so good in fact that it became default in Australia and the EU ordered it's countries to implement it in their legislations, which unfortunately only 3 did. You know, a judge can't order your mother to live with you. And even then, single father households do way better than single mother households, a child just simply NEEDS male values to grow up with a steadfast mindset. The other gender might never understand what's so important about our values. But they are. And if you really love your children like you claim you do, this fact should always remain on your mind.

You made it up? Or do you have a source? What would be the explanation as of why kids are doing worse in these neighborhoods? I left it running while doing something else, but the conversation sounded more like what normal people talk in a bar with a beer and not highly educated people with backed up studies. Dr K also showed forthcoming agreeableness towards the women. There are many aspects about this topic that people simply don't know about or don't even attempt to think through. Like for example how societies view on it changes handling of it. Basically the message is that you should be ashamed, and what does it do to people who watch the stuff? Another aspect is that I can't even write that I heard about a study that this stuff strenghtens the immune system without the platform becoming displeased.

Emotions are being overblown in an attempt to gain social power. But when do you want the issues resolved, in 1-2 centuries? And apparently neither judges nor the government read studies, most likely because these studies make them feel bad.

  23. If you know this already, there's nothing to learn. You just find out that they are just humans and have just opinions, nothing more. On podcasts like these what they share can be put into 2 categories, one is the studies they recite, which usually accurately reflect reality, and the other category is their opinion that fill the gaps whenever the science doesn't have the answers yet. And unfortunately in most cases, or all cases when the guests aren't clinical psychologists, this 2nd category is full of wishful thinking and utter nonsense that people suck up anyway.

  24.  @rebekahjohnson9780  Well, maybe that's what I'm trying to do, teach people to be skeptical. On one hand you're right, it's good to be open minded, but on the other hand in an attempt to be open minded people become susceptible to misinformation. And that's what I see, when there's someone on a podcast that says a lot of nonsense between his good advice, I don't see people being critical in the comments, or discussing the stuff they don't agree with. They have equally as much praise for him as for the other person that barely said any nonsense.

  28. 42:00 Honestly this is just annoying what JPeterson says. He takes accountability COMPLTELEY off of women. Men have to accept that women blame them because women are in fear of everything. Men have to figure out how to get their woman to to point out the problem. Men should see the problem in themselves because they can do something about it. If you think he applied it to both genders, he really didn't. Both his examples (up to the point of 42:00) are from the mens side, one was his client and the other was himself. And he said it like "you have to, you have to, you have to because women have a lot of fears". And that's supposed to make me want a family? It doesn't.

  29. The thing about who makes more money isn't about power. It's whether the woman respects the man anymore. And men know this actually, they know that they are not gonna be respected if they make less, so they aren't dating these hyper successful women. Also I think women are working on their careers mostly to be more hypergamous and attract even bigger fish. Since what I thought about women 20 years ago turned out now to be true, I think my guess now is most likely correct as well. I'm just waaaaaitin' for these studies to be made.

That'd make some room for a conversation. Instead all the comments are exclusively praise, and really dumb praise on top of that. Where our disdain comes from for phrases like blame all men. There's a lot more to the story, from how old she is, how she approached him, when he last saw her, his relationship to the mother, his beliefs, etc. The only thing you can confidently deduct is that he has no balls, other than that whether he wants or wanted to be in his daughters life is way too uncertain. Anyone making up his mind prematurely is just pointing fingers. And it's really worse than that, even if you were right and he's a deadbeat, there are also phrases like girls love bad boys and nice guys finish last. Why was he picked as the father in the first place?

  43. He's an idiot. "Therapy is sexy" xD This is as clever as saying "going to the toilet when you have to take a sh_t is sexy". O_o Therapy is a conversation when you need one, someone to talk to when friends and family just don't listen well enough. You're more or less paying to have a good friend for an hour, it can be very worth it. It's not just for the mentally ill. But simply to talk to someone that understands you and to get some sincere and experienced advise. Which is hit or miss already, since unfortunately half the therapists are dumb, too, and give advise that isn't worth anything. Did that idiot explain that? I haven't watched the whole podcast, they are kinda just blabbering. You can get the same quality blabbering after 3 beers in a bar.

  48.  @hedidylan  That's often the problem with videos like these, also the host doesn't want to cut out the introduction and the personal stuff. The girl is quite sweet after all. But you're not sitting in the audience, you can skip to where the topic actually starts, and I watch everything on 1.5x speed anyway.

  50. 25:20 I have a very good gut instinct and mostly agree with her, but disagree on that. I ask many people, except when I except an answer I've already heard, and I evaluate their answer hard. It can even happen that someone gives me one advice and it helps me figure out why I shouldn't follow it. Edit: yeah, it's because they aren't good at evaluating advice, so they keep quiet and don't wanna hear opinions. I know many gals like this. Problem is that then you can only learn through your own mistakes, and that takes long to develop a good gut intuition. My method is superior, and it's not like I invented it.
