  1. I come from Jamaica. In the first 10 years of our Independence (1962-1972) we were looked upon favourably across the world. Even Singapore studied our economic model and implemented it to great success in their country. In 1972 we elected a government that said : "Better must come" and that government was a disaster. They were very hostile to the wealthy and as a result we experienced a huge capital flight from 1974 to 1980. To this day, we in Jamaica have not yet recovered from that foolish decision to turn on wealthy people. Politicians do not build economies, businesses do!!! California will pay for these foolish policies!!!
