  38.  Firm Fiasco  Poor comparison. And no it can't as Ethiopia was never colonized and uninterrupted communism until the early 1990's from the time the Derg and Mengistu took over. No Western sanctions or meddling yet it still crumbled anyway. Socialism did more to hold India back than British colonialism. It didn't become a major player in the world until it ditched the socialism and opened up the market in the early 1990's to get up to speed.

In the US, the top 20% account for 70-80% of all taxes paid including income tax in which governments get most of their revenue from. The rest of the developed world taxes any attempt at getting rich which protects old-money elites.
