I think this is the same pack that hunted that other adult buffalo on this channel like a month ago. They probably specialise in hunting buffalo adults just like in the late 20th century there was a pack called the genghis pack that specialised in killing zebra adults. Basically when there are enough experienced adults in a pack the sky is literally the limit. They are the best hunters on this planet
42
He certainly tried before but after extreme exhaustion kicks in there's not much you can do. That goes for any animal on the planet
40
Yhhh hes not old. You lions fans say anything to spin your king narrative, he got his beaten ππππ
39
Dogs actually kill their prey really fast. Usually under a minute once they've cornered their prey
32
Β @beastmaster0934Β I read it wasn't just the hunting of them that ruined their pack sizes but the hunting of their prey. So less prey meant their pack couldn't sustain that many numbers. Humans really mess up everything they touch man...
27
Β @guhv1386Β Wild dogs used to be by far the most dominant predators on the African continent. Only 50 years ago they used to roll in packs of 100-200. But declining prey meant they couldn't sustain that many mouths and had to split off. Nothing on this planet is successfully pushing 200 painted wolves of a meal. I dont care how big they are, its too much effort and they might end up becoming a meal themselves.
20
Β @gutemorcheln6134Β After some research I found you're right. Packs used to be, 100-200 members. Thats incredible, I believe with that many in one pack they would've been the dominat predator in Africa. I doubt a pride of lions will attempt to take on 200 dogs. And I'd imagine they'd kill anything they wanted. Currently their kill rate is 4/5 but with 200 im pretty sure it would be 5/5!!!
19
Β @bkjeong4302Β exactly. Its a shame we can't see the full extent of their incredible abilities in their historic pack size
18
This pack dogs probably consisted of many yearlings that were inexperienced. I've literally seen packs handle multiple hyenas from multiple sides easily. And they'd rotate and take turns to hold off the hyenas while the others ate. Seen some where 1 dominant male chases off a hyena
14
Β @rebeltvr6046Β Stop the cap, wolves are more than capable of handling apex predators. I've seen the studies, the wolves didn't get wiped out by the tigers, that's not even possible ππππ Wolves literally live with tigers, black bears, brown bears and polar bears ( the largest most powerful predator on earth) Wolves are by far the best overall predators on earth
14
Β Levent.AΒ youre so stupid. Wild dog packs will hunt zebra depending on how much food they need for their pack size. What they hunt always depends on pack size and the average age of their pack members. A large pack with many adult dogs can and will hunt adult buffalo and adult zebra, there are literally videos of adult zebra being hunted by wild dog packs. I dont know how u thought that zebra are exempt from the power of a wild dog packππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππππ
13
Β @jkshallinheritearth3883Β Nahhh not elephant. That wouldn't even be a good idea because that would require too much effort when their energy is better spent killing a few impala with less risk of injury
13
Β @Girjon05Β When a wild dog pack is after impala, the impala dies most of the time. They'll outrun every other predator most of the time not wild dogs. Because when you can run at a steady pace of 35 mph for miles on end, nothing on this planet can out run you. Then add the factor that the pack dont usually just run, they'll flank or lead you to the rest of the pack.
13
Literally a video on this channel of them doing it. These guys are the best hunters in earth without a shadow of a doubt
12
βΒ @B-Rad_99Β comparing it to prey animal is completely different. Their food is everywhere. Predators literally have to be in peak shape or else they die a very slow death. That leopard will likely die of infection or starvation
12
They were literally killing it themselves. Plus if the dogs never cornered it a hippo is never catching an animal that runs at nearly 100kph. Put some respec on the dogs nameπ
11
Β @joshuawalters7520Β yhhhh 100+ wild dogs was 50 years ago when their numbers were declining. All sources from the 1800s and before stated they were in packs of several hundred. Meaning 300 minimum. Sooooo yhhh they still would've been the most dominant force in nature, a hyena clan maxes out at 130. 300+ wild dogs beat 130 hyenas...
10
Β @danicakes9212Β Instead of fighting? She literally tried, how is she supposed to hit things so far low to the ground and move so quickly. She can try for 24 hrs but will never hit a dog. She had to run because if she kept going till exhaustion she would have become a meal herself Plus the wild dogs had already sent the whole herd packing, no help was coming.
10
Β @joshuawalters7520Β Yhhh I agree, I didn't need to say that extra stuff. My bad
9
Yhhh hes not old. He's 9 You lions fans say anything to spin your king narrative, he got his beaten ππππ
9
Β @HenryDube72Β nahhh nothing to do with that. Its humans. Humans are by far the leading cause of deaths for wild dogs. These guys literally used to be in packs of around 100 last century and the century before that has evidence of them being in packs of several hundred. Their breeding rate is more than high enough. Only issue is they share a planet with humans πππ
9
Β @curious_thinkerΒ yh alone would be stupid but in a male collation like the 6 dominate males of the sabi sand its game over. They used to hunt rhinos, rhinos and giraffes in their prime and controlled 8 prides over 7000 acres. The most dominant males collation in lion history, nothing could stop them when they were together
9
Β @allstarpterosaur850Β I've seen it happen a lot. When they are both lone hunters they usually don't fight because getting an injury would be worth it. And if they spend their time fighting rather than eating, a rival pack will take it and none will end up eating
9
Β @tgtg7182Β I found thats only a recent phenomenon. They used to be by far the most dominant predators on the African continent.
8
Nahh, it's just a small headache
7
Β @allstarpterosaur850Β a buffalo is never hitting a wild dog. They are way too agile
7
Β @Kratos7686Β bro 10 experienced male lions would kill any rhino
7
β@Florida cracker something called adrenaline. Once that wears off it'll be feeling the full extent of the injuries. The dogs are smart, giving the leopard a slow and painful death from not being able to hunt. A fitting death...
7
Β @dheeraj2377Β No I've seen how wild dogs deal with a herd coming to help. They have a plan for that too. Notice how not all the dogs are involved in the hunt they stand around waiting to move/ distract anyone trying to interfere whether its a couple of hyenas or some buffalo. You could see one tried to come but got pushed away. These guys are freaking incredible. I'm split between wolves and wild dogs to who the best overall predators are. I'm probably leaning towards wolves but these guys are amazing too
6
He certainly tried before but after extreme exhaustion kicks in there's not much you can do. That goes for any animal on the planet .
6
Β @Pawsandtales321Β yhhh I'm not reading all of that you angry boyπππ
6
Β @jurassicsushiΒ exactly, you know your stuff. Kudos to you
5
@DuttiΒ why are you lying I literally sent vids of dogs 3-4 dominating hyeana π€£
5
Β @Mandrak789Β again how would it know its coming down. Put yourself in his shows. Youre waiting around for a long time, you're recording certain parts because you don't know when the kill happens. Youre probably speaking you your friends to kill the time. Then you look again and the animal finally down. You take out your phone and record. Why do you people always think there is something malicious ππππ The person recording is a normal tourist. Its not the owner of the channel, tourists will send him the videos and he'll choose which ones to upload. Do you expect an average tourist to be recording for hours at a time ? Be realistic

Lions seem to be really bad with dealing with resistance from herds. Wild dogs are amazing at this and will keep a few dogs out the hunt to keep watch for hyenas to hold them off or to keep watch for the resistance of a herd of buffalo. With buffalo they immediately stop their resistance. The trick is to push them back quickly before they gain too much confidence because as you can see it takes time for them to realise they have the advantage. For this reason i stated I've basically never seen wild dogs lose a kill from a herd of buffalo coming back. Lions seem to be very dumb in this regard as when the herd is brave enough lions don't try and push them away...
5
Β @VenusEvan_1885Β that lion won't see next weekπππ
5
Is that uncommon now?
5
Β @joshuawalters7520Β Looooll, this isn't a debate this is historical fact. Sources from the 1800s state they were several hundred in their their packs, meaning 300+ And yes there was enough prey to sustain them. The prey declining is one of the reasons why their numbers declined so rapidly. Wildebeest literally used to travel in groups numbering a few million. There was enough prey to go around And no I've seen 3 wild dogs handle a hyena. But back to my main point 300+ wold dogs in a pack rule over Africa with no competition...
4
Β @joshuawalters7520Β YouTube keeps deleting the links. Are you not mentally capable of typing in the title of the book. I literally put it in speech marks just incase you couldn't comprehend it but you're showing you can't even do that π Its a simple task bro, type in the title of the book and read it
4
Β @pureffmΒ No wild dogs hardly make noise when making a kill. The only time you'll hear them making noise really loudly is to alert other pack members of something. They make the kill and the distress call of the prey is what will alert the hyenas. It's how its always been. They will know but just won't be able to do anything πππππ
4
https://youtu.be/9wf_essxOBg It was stolen from a vid 2 months ago that already went viral...
4
Then idiots will complain about how shakey the camera is...
4
Β @MichaelGiordano777Β no offence but are you blind ? They all came at the start. But wild dogs are wayy too smart. Not all of them are involved in the hunt, they always have guys watching for threats . When the whole herd came at the start one brave dog come to confront them all. The herd take the bait and chase the single dog. Now the rest of the pack moves in to chase them all off. The plan was for that single dog to get them all running so the rest of the pack could push from behind !!! Also after this like 4 adults try to come but the dogs again push them away. I've never seen anything deal with a herd of buffalo so well. Lions will let the herd come close but dogs handle the situation before they get too brave.
4
Β @Kratos7686Β see that's why I said experienced, experienced lions wont wait to be taken on one by one you think this is power rangers or something πππ while the rhino attacks one the other lions take meat from the back. With 10 lions they can easily rotate and the rhino would give up from exhaustion and bam the lions have an all you can wat buffet for a month
4
Β @jenw6009Β I'm on about land animals bro because ofc there are much bigger fish in the seaππ. And I've seen lions kill adult hippo before I'm sure itd be nothing for that coalition.
4
Β @DrRiddlez2015Β I found thats only a recent phenomenon. They used to be by far the most dominant predators on the African continent. Only 50 years ago they used to roll in packs of 100-200. 4
Β @FitbythedayΒ Its impossible for the lion to win even against 10 dogs. Use your brainπ€£π€£π€£ While the lion is attacking one dog the rest will attack its rear, ill literally send the video of wild dogs doing this. The lion went for a dog but didn't even get a chance to kill it since the rest of the pack went on its rear end. Lions can't kill multiple dogs at once, this isn't a movie π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£

Chill man, they were probably laughing at something else. You don't really have that much context. I find it stranger that you can say something like that without knowing what actually happened...

Β @leofurdaΒ First we see the cub and the trees but for some reason it gets down and runs. One of the dogs sees it, chases and then the whole pack leave the lioness to get the cub. If you look closer there is a scuffle aa one of the dogs gets the cub, we see another cloud of smoke further in the distance as someone shouts "Oh shit, the cub." There is no way that cub got away, the mothers attempt failed. Most of the pack stayed to keep her busy as some others went to finish the job. Incredible team work and coordination from the dogs. The second the alpha seen the other dog making chase he gathers the whole pack to leave the lioness to get the cub. Once the cub was taken care of he calls the pack back to hold off the lioness some more. I'm presuming once the cub was getting devoured thats the reason for his last call to leave the lionesses alone. The alpha ended by sitting on top of the hill while looking at the lioness. These guys are freaking amazing
