@taniavankemp4394 the cub is gone, as in dead. First we see the cub and the trees but for some reason it gets down and runs. One of the dogs sees it, chases and then the whole pack leave the lioness to get the cub. If you look closer there is a scuffle aa one of the dogs gets the cub, we see another cloud of smoke further in the distance as someone shouts "Oh shit, the cub." There is no way that cub got away, the mothers attempt failed. Most of the pack stayed to keep her busy as some others went to finish the job. Incredible team work and coordination from the dogs. The second the alpha seen the other dog making chase he gathers the whole pack to leave the lioness to get the cub. Once the cub was taken care of he calls the pack back to hold off the lioness some more. I'm presuming once the cub was getting devoured thats the reason for his last call to leave the lionesses alone. The alpha ended by sitting on top of the hill while looking at the lioness. These guys are freaking amazing

@taniavankemp4394 I found thats only a recent phenomenon. They used to be by far the most dominant predators on the African continent. Only 50 years ago they used to roll in packs of 100-200. But declining prey meant they couldn't sustain that many mouths and had to split off. Nothing on this planet is successfully pushing 200 painted wolves of a meal or even remotelya threat to them. Doesn't matter how big they are, its too much effort and they might end up becoming a meal themselves

@taniavankemp4394 im from the UK but one day I will visit
1
@taniavankemp4394 Are you dutch?

Unharmed but fatigued. No way that buffalo escaped. The wild dogs would have kept up that assult for hours at the same tempo. You don't exactly know when the buffalo will go down. So what did you want him to record for hours ? It makes perfect sense what he did
1
@An_Actual_Rat ahhhh i get you now. That makes sense

😂😂😂
1
@mrcoatimundi753 nahhh wild dogs are legit the best group hunters out there. Their almost 90% kill rate literally proves this. The fact they maul hyenas all the time but you'll never see a hyenas touching or killing a dog also speaks to this fact.
1
@doktorhyena Wild dogs are much better hunters, no one cares about solo hunts but wild dogs do that too... If there was a tally between the damage done by each species to each others adults, then wild dogs are in the lead by a massive gap. When was the last time you seen or read a documentation of an adult wild dog being killed or mauled by hyenas... Never 😂 But how many times do we see wild dogs catching hyenas and mauling them ? Basically all the time. You talk about their crippling bite force but who cares about it when they Clearly can't land hits on these dogs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
@ashdog236 Wild dogs are very literally the biological parents of all living hyenas. If you tally up all interactions between the two species and sees who dominates / does more damage to the other physically, then wild dogs are own hyenas 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Out of all interactions I've ever seen I've only seen hyenas catch 1 dog but even then the dog was let go by 3 hyeanas in 0.5 seconds because the wild dog pack swarmed in. Hyenas have higher bite force sure but clearly that seems to be useless in the face of a wild dog pack they can never seem to get a clean hit on😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 As you can see from the vids below, hyenas are now the property of the African wild dog 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 https://youtu.be/FTHyBe3W-0Y https://youtu.be/mMfvFGkRKjU https://youtu.be/xHuTwvubXKA https://youtu.be/eLf2VeOc5Uo https://youtu.be/BsGlTvmGqQg https://youtu.be/K09zU_29w2M https://youtu.be/1u-eUFXdSNY https://youtu.be/zIWw4naNe44 https://youtu.be/X-mvrUlJQk8 https://youtu.be/GwqJ7xfZ_uY https://youtu.be/WG5JBbjYPLM https://youtu.be/fuEl3vKmbc4 https://youtu.be/18rs2wEpdrE https://youtu.be/gJhKtfL__YM https://youtu.be/XXSOUQ4qe04 https://youtu.be/RU4d7DaGzXI https://youtu.be/GPoJtUbwicY https://youtu.be/gM6HNsL4x_w https://youtu.be/jGvtsTy-nNY https://youtu.be/AjmZCg_sYc8 https://youtu.be/-KbIvkTY4Qs https://youtu.be/JQyeYx5upuo https://youtu.be/eLf2VeOc5Uo https://youtu.be/BsGlTvmGqQg https://youtu.be/K09zU_29w2M https://youtu.be/1u-eUFXdSNY https://youtu.be/zIWw4naNe44 https://youtu.be/X-mvrUlJQk8 https://youtu.be/GwqJ7xfZ_uY https://youtu.be/WG5JBbjYPLM https://youtu.be/fuEl3vKmbc4 https://youtu.be/18rs2wEpdrE https://youtu.be/gJhKtfL__YM https://youtu.be/XXSOUQ4qe04 https://youtu.be/RU4d7DaGzXI https://youtu.be/GPoJtUbwicY https://youtu.be/gM6HNsL4x_w https://youtu.be/jGvtsTy-nNY https://youtu.be/AjmZCg_sYc8 https://youtu.be/-KbIvkTY4Qs https://youtu.be/JQyeYx5upuo https://youtu.be/eLf2VeOc5Uo https://youtu.be/BsGlTvmGqQg https://youtu.be/K09zU_29w2M https://youtu.be/1u-eUFXdSNY https://youtu.be/zIWw4naNe44 https://youtu.be/X-mvrUlJQk8 https://youtu.be/GwqJ7xfZ_uY https://youtu.be/WG5JBbjYPLM https://youtu.be/fuEl3vKmbc4 https://youtu.be/18rs2wEpdrE https://youtu.be/gJhKtfL__YM https://youtu.be/XXSOUQ4qe04 https://youtu.be/RU4d7DaGzXI https://youtu.be/GPoJtUbwicY https://youtu.be/gM6HNsL4x_w https://youtu.be/jGvtsTy-nNY https://youtu.be/AjmZCg_sYc8 https://youtu.be/-KbIvkTY4Qs https://youtu.be/JQyeYx5upuo

They actually do that a lot. I've seen many vids of them doing it to lions. Just that wild dogs seem to always know how to perfectly harass a heard into doing what they want, then they'll pick out who they want

@PestilentAllosaurus still an impala

the thing is what he did made perfect sense The dogs would have been at that adult buffalo for hours. So what you expected him to record for hours ? He wouldn't know when the buffalo was going to drop or if it would ever drop since this is so rare. It made perfect sense to record some, stop and record again then record when it's come down. I'm guessing there was a long time between the first couple cuts because he cut not only at that part but near the start and middle too. It would've been an extremely long hunt
1
@maxwell5423 the people recording are tourists and they send the footage to the channel, don't expect professional quality from average people
1
@maxwell5423 I mean you were the one complaining 😂😂😂
1
@Devilmaycry-Joker should have ? Youre speaking about the world's best hunters. These guys are smart and will hardly ever get hurt
1
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

"Come again?"
1
@eromalandersson5716 the elephants were young. Nothing on this planet is killed a bull African elephant...
1
@eromalandersson5716 proof ?
1
@shadowbanned5164 yhhhhhh that too but I think it depends more on the pack size and the adult to puppy ratio
1
@dogifish0078 we never had this level of hunting efficiency ever. Our hunting success was around 50%, we know this because se tribes hunt in the same manner. Plus these dogs do it everyday 2-3 times in a 24 hour period, making their stat of almost 90% even more impressive. Humans with that 50% would be hunting once every few days to a week as their diet was mostly plant based with 30% being meat on average. So no, humans or most large land predators that have walked the earth can never claim the hunting capabilities of a pack of wild dogs...
1
@spartanical no he wasn't, one leopard can't take on a pack of dogsb

@Welltunedlife the person clearly says" oh shit the cub." Because you see a few wild dogs pursue it, and look carefully it causes a bit of a dust cloud from the struggle. Nothing on God's green earth has the capabilities of out running a pack of wild dogs, certainly not a lion cub. The lioness was never the target, they mauled her to give her a message and she got it because she stayed put while they were killing her child in the back😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

@Welltunedlife I found thats only a recent phenomenon. They used to be by far the most dominant predators on the African continent. Only 50 years ago they used to roll in packs of 100 and 2 centuries before that they were in packs of 300+. But declining prey and extensive hunting meant they couldn't sustain that many mouths and had to split off. Nothing on this planet is successfully pushing 300 + painted wolves of a meal. I dont care how big they are, how big their pride is, its too much effort and they will end up becoming a meal themselves. African wild dogs literally ruled Africa, humans are the only reason why lion's are the kings now. Before it was the wild dog King 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
@Welltunedlife https://youtu.be/CSrqCUdRKjg Skip to 46 mins, the wild dogs successful take on a lioness and a male lion at the same time... the lioness ran up a tree to escape the dogs 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
@Welltunedlife Its only because of humans that they aint the most dominant predator in Africa anymore, now they just have to settle as being the most deadly/ effective hunters on earth 😎😎😎

@therealaaroncollins6486 get tf out of here. African tribes literally use domestic dogs to kill them all the time. Type in Joe rogan, baboon and someone explains it how he put a gopro on the dog. He explains he they slaughter baboons 😂😂😂😂 Wild dogs are far superior to normal dogs so the baboon wouldn't stand a chance vs the best hunters on earth
1
Plus their success rate is only 30%, meaning 70% of the time it's the buffalo that wins. It just doesn't make for good YouTube seeing lions thrown about so it's not posted as much
1
@VenusEvan_1885 You can show me all the videos you want but the fact is lions in PRIDE only kill at 30% rate and lone lions kill at a 17%. Meaning buffaloes win more than 70% of their encounters. Facts are facts so go cry somewhere else 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
@rjf5022 If they were with wolves the wolves would certainly attack them. They are fearless. There is a video of 4 bears in a zoo killing one wolf and 3 wolves turn up and keep attacking the bears to try and save their friend. They literally take bites into the bears. 3 small wolves vs 4 large grizzley bears who are more powerful than lions and them wolves did not give a shit. True warriors and a pack unit
1
@HenryDube72 yhhhh it is, they actively hunt them because they perceive them. Before it was because their large pack numbers and their "gruesome" hunting tactics made them seem like vermin to the colonisers but yh now its just farmers
1
@HenryDube72 I'd try and build infrastructure to keep them out, if I can't afford that I'd get a pack of dogs as a deterrent for the wild dogs. If that doesn't work I'd have to kill but probably like 1 or 2 to send a message. Not massacre entire packs like they currently do
1
@HenryDube72 i know, I literally gave alternatives to farmers that can't afford it. Learn to read the full reply for the question you asked 😂

Levent.A https://youtu.be/-p1naUexS_E https://youtu.be/Dm6hhtT3tZ4 Sorry can never what ? Ahhhh I love it when people have to eat their own words 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
Levent.A That pack in the vid that hunted zebra were actually specialists and did it over and over again to other adult zebra. And plus are you like stupid or something? You do know most of the prey that any predator will are old or sick, that's literally how it goes so I dont know why you said it here like it discredits this video 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
roberto gissepi 6 males lions in their prime is too much for anything. Especially cuz these lions were large for lions anyways but more importantly they were experienced. Like it usually takes a pride to take down a buffalo but these lions in their prime could do it individually
1
roberto gissepi okay a bull elephant was literally the only thing not on their diet 😂 but we weren't on about that. Rhinos were certainly on their menu. It's not that common for male lions to hunt but these guys all picked up the skill which made them extremely dangerous
1
@Devendrayadav-jf8sv okay??
1
@roseforyoubabe okay? Your point is...
1
@Dan cdsa the most powerful male coalition were, infact it was proven that they had rhinos in their diet
1
@Drew Keenan go watch the documentary, they actually did. I deal with facts not feelings so go cry somewhere else
1
Ex muslim cool 😎 son do you know it doesn't matter. A pride of lions kills any tiger with ease
1
@marcelonakagawa1916 Yh no, African wild dogs are not going extinct because they are doing something wrong. They are literally the best predator this planet has ever seen. Due to the fact they were in packs of 100-300+ the white colonisers literally seen them as vermin, you can read about this in their journals. For that reason they wanted to exterminate them. Thats the main reason for their decline, humans. If it wasn't for humans deciding they don't like wild dogs they would still be ruling Africa in their large packs
1
Nahhh one wild dog isn't losing to a hyena. I've never actually seen or heard of a hyena getting a single bite on a wild dog. If they do it was insignificant, nothing to actually do any damage. Wild dogs seem to have hyenas figured out. To the point they are always catching them in situations that favour themselves and the fact hyenas never seem to get a bite back
1
@gookey9924 put them in a cage? What are you talking about, see how you have to make up imaginary scenario's to help your case?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Literally proves wild dogs dominate these clowns
