They can't One of the newer weapons that the UK has is the Astute class submarine The problem for Argentina is that Astute carries the US TLAM which can strike targets up 1000 miles away Secondly unlike previously , the RAF has greatly improved its aerial refueling capabilities which will Typhoons to reach much easiler Lastly The RAF also has C-17s which can use the Rapid Dragon system The US would have no problem providing both Rapid Dragon as well weapons to the UK for use a C-17 can carry 9 cruise missiles So no Argentina would not be able to take those islands

How about no The B-52 can attack targets over 1000 miles away while the S-500 max range against aircraft 310 miles A MiG-31s with R-37 can attack a B-52 up 250 miles away but as the B-52 can stand off from 1000 miles The MiG-31 has to cover 800 miles to get in range which at top speed takes 25 mins A B-52 cruises at 500 mph. In 25 mins, it covers 200 miles Simple put, its impossible for B-52 to be intercepted at 1000 miles unless you have combat air patrol on station or a ship nearby Both those options suck because your CAP is now targets for F-22s and ships for Virginia class SSNs
