Thank-you Jake. You are the best commentator on this war. Thank-you for voting against Trump and therefore for democracy and for Ukraine.

@dmrr7739 The problem is, it doesn't prevent escalation. russia keeps escalating, not Ukraine/west. For example: Ukraine is asking to fire foreign supplied weapons across the russo-Ukrainian border. russia already surpassed that escalation a year ago as they have been firing foreign supplied (NK, Iran) weapons across the russo-Ukrainian border for some time now.

Thank you for putting democracy ahead of party affiliation.

@kittredgeseely3542 Elon says he didn't turn Starlink off - but as he's pro-Russian, can you believe what he says.
13
@Carrera6rennsport Sounds like you are describing Russia. Ukraine has had two free and fair elections since the Maidan, and a peaceful transition of power. That is called democracy. When did Russia have it's last free and fair election? Not in the last 30 years - and possibly never. Are you a Russian troll?

Sullivan is worried about how US will "reset" relations with russia after this war is over. I'm worried about how US will reset relations with Ukraine after this war is over. "To the last Ukrainian" - maybe the vatniks are correct on this one.

@LACHIVA1969 I agree, but this video is about Ukraine. Go find a video about Palestine and express your sentiments there - instead of "Whataboutasizing" here. Slava Ukraini and slava Palestine.

@SirBedevereTheWise I don't support the violence. But I don't support Israel. I ask, what other options do the people of Palestine have but to revolt? In 1943, the people in the Warsaw Ghetto staged an uprising. Do you condemn their violence? Or the following year when there was another Uprising. Should they have sat quietly in their ghettos? When you are oppressed and every possible course of justice is cut off, what do you do? Israeli courts and military take no action when armed Israeli settlers take Palestinian land and build settlements - and Israel has given the middle finger to every UN resolution. I hate the violence, but I understand who made them violent - Israel.

@jonathanstein5049 I think that's a bit OTT. I think it is time legislation is passed to take decisions like that out of the hands of amateurs (and Musk is an amateur at geo-politics).
4
@joachimfrank4134 I doubt you are right about the trap, on the other hand I hope you are right. Slava Ukraini.

Thank-you Jake. Thanks for your clear analysis of what's happening.

Hi Jake. Elon Musk's peace point "Crimea formerly part of russia, as it has been since 1783" is a falsehood. Within living memory (~100 years) Crimea has only been part of russia for 9 years - from 1945 to 1954. From 1917-1921 to 1945, Crimea was the "Crimean Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic". Crimea was transferred to the russian SFSR in only in 1945. The russian Empire lost control of Crimea during the Crimean War (1850s) and russians again lost control in WW2 (1942-1944). As the current occupiers of Crimea, the russian claim to the area is about as valid as the German claim in the 1940s. The claim "Crimea is russia" is valid only in the mind of propagandists (and fools). Crimea is Ukrainian. Elon Musk is a fool.

Thank-you for voting to protect democracy and to protect Ukraine.

@someguy-k2h "they should never have been allowed in the UN, or the SC". I disagree. They should have been allowed in the UN, but once they broke the UN charter, the SC seat should have been reallocated to a more responsible member of the former USSR.

@theultimatereductionist7592 I am against any major power using force to repress minorities into submission. Slava Ukraini and slava Palestine.
3
@arau8310 Let's hope you are right.

51st state??? What about the other nine provinces? 51st to 60th states. And then there are three "territories" who might want statehood too.
3
@Gglion_1 spoken like a true russian agent.
2
@Gglion_1 That is correct, you "claiming" to not want war is a standard russian talking point. We all know what will happen if russia gets to keep the land it has taken in Ukraine. If you "claim" to want peace, without stating that you want a fair peace (i.e. returning to 1991 borders) then you are a russian agent (whether you realise it or not).
2
@Gglion_1 "Who is the propagandist here really?". You are. Take a look in the mirror.
2
@Gglion_1 Yes the war will be fought in Europe - unless Ukraine wins in Ukraine.
2
@Gglion_1 First Georgia, then Moldova, then a Baltic state . But you are right, the war will be fought in Europe, sooner or later, unless the aggressor is stopped in Ukraine.
2
@Gglion_1 But I assume that in your fairytale world russia and Ukraine will kiss and make up, and will all live happily ever after.
2
@bobpadok5331 Hey Bob. Good joke. As you're a troll I know the opposite must be true. Thanks for confirming that. You've earned your 04c today.
2
You do know that guy's name is actually Denis Pushilin right? But it does look better with the first two letters transposed. I think Zelenskii can almost be credited with single handedly saving Ukraine. If he'd run when given the chance on 24th February, I suspect Ukraine might have given up and fallen.
2
@mikele9878 Mikele is a well known Russian troll. Unfortunately for him, he hasn't woken up yet to the fact that Russia is falling apart.
2
I agree. I found it really interesting listening to his stories of surviving in occupied Kherson. A bit like my dad's stories of living in occupied Nederland during WW2.
2
@DeusVult-q3f You sure are delusional. Why don't you do some fact checking?
2
@Gardor Elon may be great at facilitating technological advances (Tesla, Starlink) but he is total unqualified, and arguably inept, when it comes to geopolitics. "but it's also not an easy decision to make in his position" It is a decision he should not be making in his position.
2
Puti was right - the liberators will be greeted with flowers. Slava Ukraini.
2
@miri-hw6gf No, if you are CEO of Starlink, it is wiser not to get involved in geo-politics - an area this CEO is total unqualified to do. And while Starlink may have helped Ukraine to kill Russians, his actions in this attack has helped Russians kill more Ukrainians.

"When the weather gets worser..." Did you say English was your first language Jake? lol.
1
@davereynolds3403 "or for lying to russia in the minks two agreements". It is russia that was lying. russia still hasn't honored Minsk and never had any intention to. Still waiting for the apology...
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of dead." As will a russian victory in Ukraine. As you can't see this, I pity you. Thank-you for confirming that you support russian aggression - and are therefore a russian agent.
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of..." As will a russian victory in Ukraine. As you can't see this, I pity you. Thank-you for confirming that you support russian aggression, and are therefore a russian agent.
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of dead". As will a russian victory in Ukraine.
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of dead". Guess what will happen if russian aggression in Ukraine is not defeated.
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of d..." Guess what will happen if russia wins in Ukraine. How come you pretend not to see that.
1
@Gglion_1 "World war will cause many more millions of d...". Which is why we have to continue in Ukraine now, to avoid WW3.
1
@Gglion_1 So Ukraine and russia kissed and made peace and all lived happily ever after. Is that what you think will happen. YT censorship prevents me from telling you any of the far more likely scenarios - but they all include WW3.
1
@Gglion_1 So we must stop russia now - or in Europe later.

I tried making a small contribution via PayPal, but got a message to say it wasn't supported (whatever that means). Maybe my country blocks donations for war - I dunno.

@crose7412 It could get very interesting. I believe Russia will try to take over Belarus immediately Lukashenko dies. It will depend on how fast the Belarusian generals act as to how much of Belarus they can hang on to. This will be another "3 day SMO" and if Belarus can hang on that long they will likely stop Russia. As others have said, Russia's army is fully committed in Ukraine and has very little in reserve. I think the biggest danger is Russia might launch its attempted take over of Belarus before Lukashenko is dead and catch the Belarus army off guard. The other problem is that Russia is already entrenched in Belarus and might already be pulling the strings.
1
@davereynolds3403 "if ukraine opted for neutrality like switzerland". I believe even Switzerland is questioning its neutrality now. Maybe if russia had respected it's international treaties "their country wouldn't be in ruins right now !"

Re: the drone attack on Moscow. I'm with Vlad Vexler on this, it is al.ost certainly an attack by Ukraine. If it was a false flag Putin would have killed dozens or even hundreds of Moscovites. But it turns out it was almost certainly an attack on a military base to the west of Moscow. Yes Russia took out approx. 8 of 32 drones in the suburbs near the base. Hopefully most of the remaining 24 drones hit there intended targets on the base.
1
@konmoe121 I too read that Ukraine would like all reporting on the progress of this offensive to cease. I'm sure Jake will comply. Edit: it was Zelenskii himself who made the request.

Thanks for re-posting.

I do not support atrocites. But did you note the father said, in Gaza there would be no food, no water, no light - possibly for months or years. And I ask myself, who would cause there to be no food, no water, no power? Who would cause such a ghetto in this age, that mirrors the ghettos of Warsaw? How can Israel do to Palestinians what the Nazis did to them? I have just unsubscribed. Slava Ukraini, and slava Palestine.

Thank for another informative video. On the subject of Himars, we know that the Russians find it exceedingly difficult to down the current short range missiles. But will the same apply to the larger longer range missiles?
1
@topcat1358 Go back to brown-nosing Putin. Silly Russian troll.
