@joehatch1602 1) Keystone Pipeline wasn't even dealing with American oil. 2) Oil companies are sitting on literally thousands of permits. What he stopped was giving them new ones because holding drilling permits and not using them leads to an artificial shortage in gasoline. 3) How many coal-fired power plants have actually been shut down in the last 22 months, and weren't just a matter of old plants exhausting supply?

So, now that you know... leave him alone!
5
@SecularFelinist Only because Ford pardoned him. Then again, what are the odds that Nixon would have resigned if he didn't get assurances that he would get a pardon.
4
@warmlycalculated390 True, he would have been convicted, but there is also a question of whether or not he would have voluntarily left had he known he would face criminal prosecution once he left office.
4
@jakeladders7461 To fat what?
4
It was a lot funnier when Bob Dole did it.
4
@joesmith9616 Apparently, you think that he never contributes anything to the scripts.
4
@chrishansen2409 *Over 50
4
@RobinDale50 Oh, so you have nothing. I figured.
4
Charley Pride and Darius Rucker (aka Hootie) hit the country charts.
4
@jeromefitzroy Or at least they don't joke about being dictators. Obama's joke at one of the Correspondents Dinners where he said "whether you're black, white, or whatever color John Boehner is" was pretty good.
4
If my company wants me to be available when I'm off the clock, they can pay me for every time they bother me off the clock. Otherwise, when 5 rolls around, if you have something to tell me, it can wait until 9.
4
@Aur-ki1qu I guess you also missed the part where Pfizer was fully approved this week, and the others are going to have their announcement soon.
4
@PJBubbles There is no point. It didn't matter if he lost Tennessee by 20 points if he won Florida or New Hampshire.
4
"This is the only timeline where Trump made a billion dollars and was elected President." Well, one of those things really happened.
4
@MetalDetroit So, police, fire fighters, libraries, roads, bridges, sewage, and the military are all failures?
4
@paddleduck5328 I have zero problem with her endorsing after the primary. You know who else did? Bernie. Because they understood that Hillary on her worst day is better than Trump on his best day. Ultimately, one of those two would be President, and she was the less bad choice.
4
@geminigirltwo It's impossible to have completely nonpartisan judges. They like to pretend that they're apolitical, but there's no way to make it so. After all, who is putting the lower judges there?
4
@shanwyn My point was that there are some places where compromise is just impossible. If one side is literally running someone who says he wants to be a dictator, what is the middle ground with that? What is the middle ground when one side refuses to admit defeat when they lose? If there is something where common ground can be found, great, but if someone isn't a good faith actor, should everyone wait for the bad faith actor, or do what is possible without that person?
4
@bpc610 In fairness, that is a hard voice to pull off.
4
@Blunderful19 Both sides implies that it's both side's faults equally. The bill that the House just passed last week is the exact same one that the Senate passed unanimously last month. Coulter, Limbaugh, and Hannity complained, he said he'd veto it, so Paul Ryan wouldn't bring it up for a vote. If one person stopped the bill, it's not equally the fault of both sides. It's not even the fault of one party (except for in its spinelessness for refusing to bring up the bill they already passed) as it is the fault of one man.
4
The idiotic naysayers keep saying that Biden can only talk with a Teleprompter, but Trump can't even talk at all with one.
4
Eleven years ago, I was sitting around during downtime at work, and my boss was going on and on about birthright citizenship. I asked him what the standard should be, and he didn't know, so I asked if someone should take the citizenship test. He said that seems fair, so I told him that an old poli sci textbook at my parents' house had a copy of a citizenship test. She sent a copy to me, and I got it a week later. The result? "Get out of my country!" Others in the room took it as well. "Welcome to America."
4
@crazymulgogi Dishonest people who want to discredit the movement because they don't want their taxes to go up do.
4
@Carl Quant Okay, here is some simple math from Johns Hopkins, which has been collecting data: Global deaths: 260,938 Global cases: 3,724,688 Getting out my handy-dandy calculator, and the death rate globally is 7%. I see that happy talk about coronavirus doesn't end at our shores.
4
@WolfeSaber And what did that actually accomplish?
4
@ryanl4620 He probably didn't invite Shapiro because he's not well known outside of political or YouTube circles. The equivalent in terms of fame would probably be Ana Navarro.
4
@joehatch1602 Actually, it's not specific enough because literally none of those things either affected prices or did what you say they did.
4
@joehatch1602 Show me any industrialized country that hasn't had high inflation. And the United States has lower inflation than the EU average.
4
@meofomi English translation: "I don't care about democracy; just winning. And if I don't [stomps foot] THIS ISN'T FAIR."
4
@ToniHunterOne Well, he can do all of that stuff if he outlives his prison sentence ;-)
3
@annkristoff4303 Attitudes line yours make it easier for the corrupt to get away with corruption. After all, if everyone does it, why punish anything?
3
@joelethington4056 That question was yesterday?
3
Axl Dave Only if you don't understand how mail works, and how "postmarked by" and "received by" are two different things.
3
@thomasmaughan4798 So, you're mad because you think that black people have too much influence. Gee, I wonder what that sounds like. Then again, considering that you are defending a group that has only won one national election in the last eight but still got to control the White House for 12 of those years, I can't say that I'm surprised.
3
Oh, my! I got in five minutes late, and it was already 3.1K.
3
@Herehear49 I have heard some say that we should start calling it taking a trump. That way, the Trump name forever will be treated as he left it. We can do it!
3
@humangeneric-777 Apparently, you missed how it has becoming a rising trend, especially with people who work from home in white-collar jobs, to have the employer send e-mails at all hours and expect a prompt response. This is a pushback against that.
3
@frankiebowie6174 And a poor person's idea of a rich person, and a weakling's version of a strongman.
3
@wut3358 They lost billions after they already had several. Not even Forbes had him as a billionaire in 1985, and they have since said that they overestimated what he had.
3
@wut3358 True, but I can't think of any billionaires who lost a billion before making it. That was my point.
3
@curbmassa I have been saying for years that public financing of campaigns is the reform that makes all other reforms possible.
3
Apparently, they think that because they are shameless suck ups who are their to rubber stamp Presidents of their own party that Democrats do the same thing.
3
@bcpr9812 Well, he does call his wife Mother.
3
@littlechange540 What did he do for the two months that he bought in order to ramp up testing? Why is he trying to get states to open up despite cases skyrocketing in localities that opened too soon? Why tear up the pandemic response plan and disband the group whose job it is to get everything in place? I don't blame him for the virus, and few do, but I do blame him for his inept response to it and declaring a premature victory.
3
@mephik That was under Reagan in the 80s. Carter just did the Olympic boycott.
3
@CaBobProductions Fair enough. I guess I was trying to counter the spin that it was loaded with Bernie supporters. To their credit, Fox seemed to get a fairly representative audience.
3
@coktoe4487 She also had one on Colbert a while ago where they were telling ridiculous stories about hero dogs to convince people to adopt them. She definitely let the deadpan mask slip then, too.
3
@vonFisch I mean, there are plenty of examples of aging gracefully and still looking better than cat face. I mean, look at Dawn Wells (Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island). She is 80, and she looks 50. She still has wrinkles and lips that have clearly lost some collagen, but tell me she hasn't aged well.
3
@debrahelmlinger6256 Look at any multi-party system. Pretty much all of them have two major candidates or parties that have a realistic chance of winning.
