@derekwheeler4299 So, I take it that you would have opposed boycotts in Rhodesia and South Africa, as well as opposing the boycotts in Alabama. No regime change against Bull Connor!
11
He should have known. He saw the effect of Nader 2000, and he warned people about it in 2020.
11
@camelopardalis84 It has to be a certain number of people. That is why you will hear donors and donations listed as separate things.
11
@BroodallyHonest If several people have the exact same misunderstanding, maybe the problem is with the communication. When you explained it in later posts, it makes sense, but your initial posts doesn't read like a bully getting his comeuppance, and right wingers who believe such nonsense that people like this are just "practicing free speech" makes it easier to miss the point.
11
@tylerhackner9731 Agreed. Would women have been better off of Sarah Palin was elected VP?
11
@sythiadawn Well, they are keeping McConnell away from control of the calendar, so it's more than that. Doesn't make them any less frustrating, though.
11
@namanmakkar7106 Well, JK Rowling, maybe, but I think she gave enough of her money away that she isn't a billionaire anymore.
11
@mindandbodymuscle5345 You mean the ones where he pushes against busing while courting segregationists? The ones where he hung Anita Hill out to dry? The ones where he bragged about being from a slave state? You're right, he wasn't a centrist; he was a full-on conservative Democrat.
11
@65minimom And she only became a Democrat because she believed that Republicans no longer cared about the free market. Yes, she has some good positions, but [in my best Dr. Evil voice] she's the Diet Coke of Bernie. Just one calorie. Not Bernie enough.
11
@lexxb6386 My dollar says she'll be a talking head. It's easy and lucrative.
11
@MunkeiGUN And how many WMDs were there, again? When did the UN say that they were done with the inspection? As much as the right goes on about personal responsibility, I don't see it when they make a huge mistake.
10
Don't forget Sam Seder and Michael Brooks.
10
Tlaib said that he has money in Amazon (which is considering its own trucks on a larger scale), and that his conflict of interest means that he should resign.
10
A Present vote has the same effect as a No vote. It takes a majority of Yes votes in order to pass something.
10
@scroopynooperz9051 Jimmy Dore is irrelevant. His purpose is to dump on the left, because that is what his fanbase wants to hear. He is an angry Dave Rubin who is doing a better job of keeping his mask on. The mistake Rubin made was that he went too far and put an expiration date on his act.
10
Presidential and parliamentary systems are quite different. It also doesn't help when one party decides to absolutely refuse to do anything to help people.
10
@abdul-rahimdahman3300 The one that convinced me was hearing her use a scenario straight out of 24 to justify torture. Then, I was especially outraged that she his behind being a veteran. When I was sergeant of the guard with POWs, I always treated the prisoners humanely and made sure everyone else did, too. When she did that, she insulted me and every person who refused to be war criminals.
10
@loulfw2513 If Bernie voted against it, his amendment for unemployment, which was the primary reason why poverty didn't go up last year, wouldn't make it. This is what wanting to watch the world burn looks like.
10
@Juicebrainjoe False flag? Yes, because the group with no air force and no sarin gas did this to themselves when they were already losing the civil war. And it's right there in his taxes.
10
@emhu2594 Video and timestamp, please.
10
@satevo462 True. Rose McGowan also defended Asia Argento for having sex with a 16 year old boy. I guess it really should be "believe all accusers unless they are my friends."
10
@MusicIan423 She flat out said that Bernie is sending people out to trash her. She deserves every ounce of scorn.
10
@schoolsgirl Bernie got childhood poverty cut in half, so yeah, he's gotten more done running as a Democrat than Cornel West playing spoiler.
10
@gamingislife3332 Or, maybe he's doing what he loves, and he should get to retire on his own terms.
10
@TreiberSeptim I am Bernie or Bust in the primary at this point. I will vote for the eventual nominee because I live in a swing state (Pennsylvania). However, other than that finger to push the button on the machine, no one else will get another finger from me. Bernie will get my Saturdays to try to get other people to vote. If I still lived in WV, no one not named Bernie Sanders would get my vote.
10
Well, he did say that there was a problem with Cardi B downstairs when she released WAP last year, so I think that when he said that his doctor wife agreed, that tells me that she is probably faking a lot in that relationship.
10
@BroodallyHonest I was saying that he clearly was looking for a fight. He was just surprised when someone delivered.
10
@PleaseRecycle Wrong. He supports "Medicare for America," which is a gradualist proposal.
10
@sunkillsmoon Just because someone has a law degree doesn't mean that he/she can't misuse it. Why do you think lawyers and judges get disbarred for misconduct?
10
@brothersandsistersofvalhalla The OP is talking about Joy Behar.
10
@zachlewis2751 Mark my words, she'll end up on Fox as a pundit wringing her hands about "not working together." It's easy and lucrative. Lobbying requires actual work (which she is too lazy to do), expertise in a subject, and good relations with elected officials, qualities that she lacks.
10
@JoJo-vg8dz Well, not all of those people are libertarians, but all libertarians (ignoring the ones who are too young to know any better and grow out of it) fall into those categories.
9
@lassesaikkonen501 How does evolutionary biology, often dealing with plants, make someone an authority on gender? Therefore, citing someone as an expert when he has never written anything peer reviewed in that field is, if anything, less relevant to the question at hand than his views on the thing that he is probably best known for in popular culture.
9
@mayavox She said that Trump was guilty. The only correct vote is Yes if that is what you believe. Her "Medicare Choice" is the exact same thing as Medicare for All Who Want It no matter how much you try to put lipstick on that pig. Nothing about her career screams opportunist? She first made a name for herself by going on Fox and Bill Maher to complain that Obama didn't use the right wing buzzwords to describe Muslims. She went on Dave Rubin's show to agree with him that every other candidate (including someone she claimed to wholeheartedly support as a great man just three years earlier) hated America. At least Zack Morris knows he's trash.
9
@quayzie Ooh, one delegate to zero. That really showed her.
9
@SouthCom1917 Don't forget the assault weapons ban. The Hill Shills tried to make him out to be Ted Nugent the last time for having a D- lifetime rating from the NRA (the lowest of any statewide elected official in VT) instead of an F. Yeah, that really helped in rural areas in, I don't know, Pennsylania, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
9
@commenterperson4481 I usually don't. I must admit that my curiosity got the best of me this time.
9
@ashesmandalay1762 Indeed. He is not our friend.
9
@daughterofbob-d5r If you've ever seen the show Undercover Boss, they almost always turn out to be major screw-ups.
9
Where was this guy a year ago? I would have kinda liked this guy instead of the rat-faced weasel we saw.
9
She went to Washington to play important political figure while Don Jr. and Eric put their signatures on things.
9
@Greendalewitch Yes! Sign up for a shift knocking on doors and making calls.
9
ppm120667 You mean the party that Republicans prop up when they think there will be a close election in a state? The party that couldn't be bothered to get 2000 legal signatures without putting false information about their own vice presidential candidate in Wisconsin and then waited two weeks to sue and nearly caused municipal clerks to send out ballots late? You mean that Green Party?
9
@Rachel Barker Wrong. He was suspended because he said that the media exaggerated anti-semitism in Labour, and he wanted to get rid of it.
9
@guynorth3277 Dog whistle much? She's been in America for 40 years. This is her third term. There have been people elected Speaker in literally their first term. The average over the last few decades seems to be about 10-20 years in Congress to get to the party leader position.
9
@anonmist2529 Who is replacing Manchin? He is literally the hardest to port who can still win statewide in West Virginia. What we need to do is actually add members in 2022 in places like Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and maybe North Carolina. If you want to actually gain power, you do it by adding, not subtracting. By all means, primary Sinema. If there is any halfway decent candidate, I will throw a few dollars his/her way, but we're stuck with her for the next three years, and we are stuck with her and Manchin as the 49th and 50th votes for the next 14 months.
9
Jimmy Dore isn't one of us. He only pretends to be left to help Republicans.
9
@belkyhernandez8281 Yang is worse. He's libertarian.
9
@jamescoogan1137 The problem isn't with the interview style. The problem is with people who deny reality. What interview style do you think would actually work with the Trump cult?
9
@Theodore Hartman Well, what do you want to do about it, or are you just going full doomer and saying nothing can be done?
