walt charamba She got too close to the One True Ring, and she is tainted. I think she got in with a what-if attitude about 2016, but once she thought she could win in September and saw it slip away, she sold her soul.

@nameisamine I guess you're not familiar with the concept of dog whistling. It's where you don't directly go after a group, but you say things that an audience knows how it is intended. Yes, people of any race can be Muslim, but it's pretty obvious that he wasn't talking a out white women. And you seriously need to watch John Oliver pointing out how Boris Johnson does stuff like that to appear like a clown so he can get away with it. What's next, are you going to say that Nigel Farage likes immigrants?
18
Indeed. He could give away 99.9% of his wealth, and his descendants could live off the interest for generations.
18
How heavy do you have to be to lose 100 pounds and nobody notices?
18
@bernardomedrano1446 Forget taken out of context. Here is what I think happened based on reports. Warren: Do you think Trump will try to use sexism against me? Bernie: Trump will use whatever he can if he thinks that it will help him win. [13 months later] Warren: I'm crashing, so I need to do something to get back in this race. I know! I'll say that Bernie told me that a woman can't win.
17
@Juicebrainjoe People can say whatever they want. That doesn't mean that everyone has to give them a megaphone. Funny how the fascists claim to care about free speech but want to use that free speech to destroy those freedoms they claim to hold dear.
17
Her district is the biggest concentration of crazies in Georgia.

For the third debate, the standard gets tougher: 2% or more in at least four qualifying polls AND 130,000 donors. Only 13 candidates qualified under both criteria for the first debate, where each standard was lower, so I think that will thin the herd quite a bit.
16
They already have that. Corbyn was trying to end austerity. Hopefully, the Blair wing of the party doesn't make a comeback.
16
Either that or Crowder buys his fans and subscribers?
16
@deadwingdomain Yes, because a candidate who claims to love peace but supports torture and opposed the Iran nuclear deal and abandoned Medicare for All is a great candidate. You're thinking with the wrong head.
16
How bad is it that she couldn't figure out that 2020-30=1990?
15
It's much harder to elect a Senator in a red state than it is a gubernatorial race (see also: Bullock, Steve). That's not to say it's impossible, but it will take a great effort.
15
@freddistenbrain8287 Saying that we need to work with these people, insisting that we should work with Mike Cernovich to "bring peace," and regularly praising Tucker Carlson. Either you are a lefty who doesn't know any better, or a fascist trying to hide your power level.
15
Moscow Donald calling someone else crazy would be like him making fun of John Boehner or Lindsay Lohan for spending too much time in a tanning bed.
15
You've gotta watch Jordan Klepper interviewing Trump supporters. They briefly tried a spinoff with him as a "Stephen Colbert" type, but it didn't work. When he does those interviews, he is in his element.
14
I dealt with someone who tried to insist that there was nothing else that Trump could have done to improve things. When I pointed out the example of how South Korea, New Zealand, and Japan handled it, he then made out like they had some trade secret for how they had such a better result. These people could literally be standing next to a fire extinguisher, and if Dear Leader says there is no fire, they'll let their house burn down around them.
14
I am not shocked that someone would come up with such an idea, but I am shocked that there was not one person in the room with enough intelligence and/or ethics to realize that this was a bad idea that would never work and would make him look absolutely vile. He is vile, but I didn't expect him to be that vile and show it to everyone.
14
And Bernie actually ran across the stage. All Boris had to do was turn around.
14
She won't be a lobbyist. That requires two things: knowledge about an issue, and good relationships with elected officials. She has neither. Definitely a talking head getting her audition reel ready for Fox. That's easy and lucrative.
14
One of the things that was the most relieving about this whole thing is that Kari Lake never once held a lead, because had she ever had a lead by a single vote, she would have convinced her followers that the victory was complete and it could have been much worse.
14
@MunkeiGUN He deliberately started war in Iraq, a country that had nothing to do with 9/11.
13
@mikev6046 They all are.
13
@npgibson69 I must admit that I was nervous about how long AOC was taking, but I think that it's best to have more and more to roll out instead of dumping them all at once so each one has an impact.
13
@Maestro Dan Lots of people agree that there is a problem. The issue comes with what they think the solution is.
13
@angrydad1907 You mean for a thing caused by a parasite that is a much smaller dose?
13
@lomak7422 [citation needed]
13
Just out of curiosity, she had so, so many marks against her even before this. Why just now? Why wasn't she on that list months ago when she got into the race playing both siderism on the shutdown or when she defended Biden on busing?
13
@kimwalter8753 Considering that Oprah also foisted Dr. Phil and The Secret on us, maybe it's time to admit that she's no more credible than Gwyneth Paltrow.
13
@newbieprepper8451 Being guilty of one thing doesn't make someone guilty of something else on a different occasion that isn't related.
13
That's because they're not left. He is the spiritual descendant of a man named Lyndon Larouche. Look him up, but you might want to do it Incognito so you don't get messed up ads after that.
13
He's always had a cringey streak to himself.
13
@johncam8420 Did CNN switch to the formica tables and make the anchors wear microskirts?
13
@cluelessjoe5745 He is owned by the right-wing audience that bought him a house. Mortgage payments come due every month, you know. Also, how can you say that he "isn't owned by lobbies or billionaires" when he took his money from Syria to spout their propaganda?
13
Nobody forced him to decide to play spoiler on the backs of such a toxic organization.
12
Honorable mention: Bernie
12
@sparkymcplug3765 Well, then, get to work. Nothing is saying that the lefties have to be a minority within the Democratic Party.
12
A lot of us fell for her. The scales came off my eyes in 2017 when I saw the interview where she supported torture. That's part of the reason why I push back against the tulcels as hard as I do.
12
@1848revolt What have you personally done to build support or "put pressure"?
12
Michael wasn't as good at calling out grifters as you think. That particular gift has been (and is) most displayed by none other than Sam Seder. During the Jimmy Dore debate, Michael actually wanted Sam to go easy on Jimmy, and he didn't really completely see that Jimmy was a grifter until 2018... in response to a personal attack by Jimmy Dore. When people started to catch on to the Rising grift, he refused to call it out, falling back on "they're my friends," although unlike someone like Kyle Kulinski, he was starting to see the truth before his untimely demise. He was very slow to see a grifter for who they were, whereas Sam is someone who can see when someone is on that track. At this point, Ana seems far too dug in, because she doesn't like criticism from her own side.
12
Indeed. Defeat fascists, and then go after the neoliberals.
12
@t.rolljenkins8321 They're "all the way left"? Why can every other industrialized country in the world afford the stuff that Bernie is proposing and we can't?
12
@brandonbordelon143 Andrew Yang is a con artist. The biggest thing he did before running for President was a total failure. Venture for America was supposed to train people to "create" 100,000 jobs in poor cities. It was less than 4000 jobs at companies started by people he trained, and half of those went to boomtowns like New York and San Francisco. He now says "college isn't for everyone," but he made his money off test prep software, and who is the audience for that if not nervous parents wanting their kids to get into top schools?
12
@nickolassmith473 And at the end of that forum, he won the audience over. Hardly "divisive."
12
He admitted that sort of thing on more than one occasion, and these dummies swallowed it whole.
12
Early voting isn't very big here because it's relatively new.
12
@RKZX2 Who signed the orders to kidnap children and take them from their parents with no intention of ever giving them back? Who oversaw the sterilization of women? I'll give you a hint. It wasn't Obama.
12
As George Zimmerman proved. For that matter, it seems like that psychopath was in the news for years for run ins with the law because he saw himself as above the law after getting away with murder.
12
@cosmos_fun It's "opt in" as in "if you want it, you have to give this up." Therefore, it is not universal and it is not "no strings attached." You don't get to make words mean what is convenient for your argument.
