  1. Exactly, we had our arses handed to us on a plate & then we were left with (in the Roman case) new technology which we eventually copied. Even the roads are still here. Why can't Africa think that way? Playing the white man when you are beaten goes back a long way....

  4. £1,000,000 for a statue - that's 25p for each muslim in the UK. If they can be bought for that in the hope they vote con it's a bargain.
