Anyway, it is actually good that they don't pass new laws.  Do you really want more laws that the government can use to repress us more?  To me this is a success.  Not to mention that the republicans spent time opposing Obamacare to the fullest.  Now that it is a mess of a law people will know next election who really was for Obamacare and who was against it. A more important point is that the president sets the tone in Washington.  There will always be disagreement but when you have a leader that does nothing themselves it is hard to get anything done.  Some decent leadership would help in this case.  You can blame congress all you want but Clinton did a great job in working with a republican congress.

For example, you don't need a doctorate to teach as a school. But to become a doctor you need almost a decade worth of schooling.
