@LacusTheDestroyer , exactly. Also, how many leftist states created sanctuary cities?
4
@MrGrass97 , what immigration system is 100% effective? None so far. The point is that the wall is supposed slow down illegal immigration over the border so we can use our limited resources, such as man power, to solve the immigration issue of people over staying their visa. So yes, the wall will do a lot to help. At this point people oppose it because they support open borders.
4
proud American , exactly. The problem with the number of illegal immigration numbers is that you can't obtain accurate numbers on them.
4
Kyle will just curse and walk around like he did against Kirk.
4
@thepatbackexperience4573 that is the other point. No matter what happens their fan base will still say their guy "won". These debates are pointless where I don't even watch them anymore. I rather listen to what experts have to say. But the problem is our society does not want that. Stephen Michael Davis has a great video entitled "The Youtube Cargo Cult" where at one point he said there are hour long videos of experts going into details of complex issues. There are also top 10 videos and cat videos. The latter two get way more views. People do not want to listen to experts go into details on complex issues, they rather hear their guy give talking points.
4
And? People die. Is this sad? Sure, but people die for many reasons. Why don't you allow him into your home Kyle? Or any other leftist that watches this show.
4
Fleur, it isn't about them making money. Equipment and chemicals cost a lot. My laser set up, initially cost $500,000. That is just the laser, chiller and detector. Add in the mirrors and other components as well it is approaching close to a million. It cost money and time to keep it running efficiently. Many facilities are limited in instrumentation because of cost to where you have to share it. I do scientific research for a living and I agree with Cassidy on this one and find Bernie to be ignorant on this topic.
4
One up his ass. Kyle has no argument for medicare for all so he just pulls numbers out of his ass.
4
The teacher is a government worker and a servant to the people. They can't act like that while at work. It is a bad image and unprofessional. If the teacher would have called an obese kid a "fat fuck" would that be OK?
4
The issue is that your guy's policies align more with Venezuela more than you think.
4
@luodeligesi7238 the left do want to mimic what Venezuela does. They want a welfare state and have it be funded by one source. With the left's case it is via taxes on the rich.
4
Bernie would win, at best, 10 states if he ran. Economy is doing much better under Trump and people don't like Bernie's policies. Also, there is too much dirt on Bernie for him to win.
4
Two issues here 1. Trump supporters are being violently attacked. There is a lot of examples of that where the media says nothing. Where on the left you had a gay black many creating an attack. 2. Kyle literally lives in a bubble. He has his own safe space himself. He has no room to talk.
4
@tonedowne , the private sector is fully capable of handling healthcare. The problem is that we don't have a free market system in healthcare. We have a heavily regulated system with subsidizes. The biggest problem is how insurance has become healthcare. Compare to car insurance. Despite being mandated in every state car insurance is affordable. Why? Because car insurance covers unplanned, expensive situations like an accident. It does not cover oil changes or new headlights even though they are needed for a safe and reliable car. The reason is because those are cases you can plan for and shop around for. Healthcare insurance should be the same way. If healthcare insurance only covered unplanned, expensive cases than the price will drop. Many cases can be paid for out of pocket where people can shop around where the price will drop as well. Case in point. LASIK eye surgery. Over time the price has dropped and the quality has improve where LASIK is not covered by insurance but paid for out of pocket. A reason why healthcare insurance is healthcare, in my opinion, is because of the payroll tax. Because of that businesses pay employees with healthcare insurance as opposed to a higher wage. Thus healthcare insurance is a form of payment and thus has become healthcare. That is a problem. Instead of people shopping around for their own plans and having insurance be insurance, it is a form of payment and thus has become healthcare. That gives insurance companies too much power. If we had a free market system in healthcare than insurance companies will have to compete and will become insurance companies and healthcare prices will drop and quality will improve.
4
So being annoying and bitching as opposed to actually discussing the issues is the progressive movement?
4
There is no way to pay for it. A UBI would cause massive inflation. Kyle and his fan base are economic illiterates.
4
@mistym0rning prior to the scamdemic wages were going up, worker participation was going up, home ownership was going up. The overall economy was doing great. It took democrat ran states shutting down by overblowing a virus to try to make him look bad. It is not going to work.
4
@mistym0rning think about it, Democrat could never beat him on principle. It was either Russia, Ukraine, pointless impeachment, calling Kavanaugh a rapist, and over exaggerating a virus. If he was so bad surely people can come up with better.
4
When has Shapiro ever discriminated?
4
How is this Trump's fault?
4
Just like how people are going blind under your system by being denied eye surgery.
4
This is actually good. The WHO lied about the virus from the beginning and it is causing problems.
4
There are educated and uneducated individuals on both sides.
4
The deeper you get into a topic the more subjective it becomes. There should always be an objective viewpoint, but there is an subjective side as well.
4
Kyle is fear mongering here. The right wing ideology is to leave many of those issues up to the state. Nothing wrong with that. The Constitution covers a lot and all of our issues can be handled from it. Kyle is just scared that he will have to actually try to make changes at the state and local level as opposed to forcing things down people's throats at the federal level.
4
Uh, how much are we influencing climate change? That is one question. We are simply by the 2nd law of thermodynamics, but by how much is in question. Next, is it even a serious threat? That is the next question. If it is then is government the solution? Or what is the solution?
4
Ehtan, have you even read those "consensus" studies? I doubt it. To start, yes, man plays a role. Beyond that there is doubt. The doubt is how much and is it even a threat? Next, those consensus studies were either of cherry picked sources where they were misrepresented (such as looking at the abstract only) or polls with cherry picked participates that around 1/3 of the responded. What is 1/3 of 97%? I will allow you to do the math.
4
Be a waste of time. Neither are experts and both will just pander to a group.
4
@iemangery3881 they can't. I bet these people will be singing a different tune if a group of radicals overtook their neighborhoods.
4
Trump and Obama are different people. Trump is more aggressive where Obama was passive. Obama's tactics does not work here as a person like Kim Jong Un walked all over him. Trump has shown that he has no problem calling out BS and does not back down.
4
Good, go more left. You will continue to lose.
4
@mathunit1 , uh, the Commonwealth Fund study. To start, what makes that source reliable? They are a private organization with a motive. Next, do you even know how they establish that ranking? I doubt it, but you blindly follow it. Why do you take that arbitrary ranking seriously?
4
Shapiro explained his intentions. He was pushing to see if Twitter was consistent in their anti-harassment rules. Really Kyle, you need to develop some intelligence here. You need to give actual examples of Trump violating those rules. You haven't.
4
Maybe leftists in states like CA will vote for someone different. Not really voting for republicans but just someone different. Democrats these days are showing that all they care about power. Pelosi enjoying ice cream, AOC cheering on the fact that oil prices are negative, the mayor of LA using tax dollars to put sand in skate board parks. At what point do democrat supporters finally learn? Or maybe they enjoy big government.
4
Kyle hardly has facts, and the facts he has he presents in a deceptive way. Cenk way better than Kyle and Cenk got destroyed. Kyle does not stand a chance. You looked at the southern strategy as a comparison when Shapiro pointed out actual resources to look into saying it was a myth. Cenk lost that part of the debate. Ben is an intellectual, Kyle is a child by comparison. If Kyle were to debate Shapiro it would not go well for Kyle. It would go so bad it might end his small little show he has going on here. It is best for him to stay away.
4
Khalkara, you can't outlaw religion. That will open up the door to fascism. Also, it goes both ways. Many on the left don't understand what rights even are and want to give more rights to certain groups. That is why we have affirmative action and hate crimes. They treat groups differently.
4
The "pandemic" will initially get "worse" to where democrats will try to use it to remove Trump from office as in some sort of impeachment. It won't work and will be over by March. At that point democrats and the media will have to find something else to try to get Trump removed, so they will ignore the virus, say things are improving during spring through April, reopen and go from there.
4
@Rick_Riff , exactly. This is an argument that a lot of climate change is natural. Without humans Greenland went from being green to being a sheet of ice. Climate change is happening. The fear mongering has become ridiculous at this point.
4
Unions are a part of capitalism
4
You can also drive a car on private property without a license
4
@blackflagsnroses6013 , the Federal Reserve was established in 1913. There were no federal income taxes until that same time.
4
It came already with Trump.
4
Right to work states have lower unemployment rates.
4
But where would people like Kyle get their information without corporate media? Is he going to do interviews?
4
@harleimorency7861 or how about you call them "Justice Democrats".....oh.....wait
4
This communist really needs to go away. No one cares.
4
This is why JD is going to lose. They have irrational standards and policies. They have no logic and are disorganized. This was 20 years. People can change and most people were dumb in their young age. But JD wants the perfect person in their party and overtime that will destroy the group.
4
People are trying to make Bernie Sanders a thing. It goes both ways.
4
Exactly. TDS is strong on this issue. People rather have others die with the virus just to stick it to Trump at this point.
4
The "reasonable" part is what bothers me. The anti-gun crowd is at the point where they call you stupid or violent if you do not support "reasonable" gun laws where they do not define "reasonable". I almost feel like emailing this company to ask them to define "reasonable" and see how they respond.
