If you were to compare the murder rate of the UK to the US you will see the US has a murder rate that is 5 times higher than the UK. You may point to gun laws but if you were to remove all gun murders from the US the murder rate in the US will still be 2 times higher than the UK. At that point you have to be 100% honest and realize other factors are at play. What John Lott did was factor in those variables. For example, he removed gang murders because that is an issue of gangs, not guns. As a whole other nations face gun violence as well. It is incredibly difficult to do a side by side comparison at that point and Lott submitted a legit study, that you can read and criticize if you want, showing that the US arguably does not have a gun problem compared to other nations. That is my point.

  34. Kyle's view on climate change is myopic. He feels that anyone who disagrees with him is a denier. Almost all of the right, including Steven Crowder, says that climate change is happening. They just feel that it is not a threat and they believe that government is not the source to take on this issue. That is debatable. I, as a scientist myself, disagree with Kyle's stance on climate change.

  35. No Kyle. A UBI does not matter if there is no productivity. We have a meat shortage right now because people are not working. I just ordered a mask and it was difficult to find one that I can receive soon because productivity is down. This is where leftists do not understand economics. You cannot print food and goods. They have to be produced. If you shut down the economy, create a rent and mortgage freeze, and a UBI you will completely destroy the economy. Land lords will go bankrupt and banks will take over the property. Banks will lose money and will require more from the Fed causing massive inflation. Just creating easy monetary policy with no productivity will create massive inflation.

  37. We have background checks already. When put to a vote expanded background checks failed to pass in Maine and passed in NV by only 0.45%. The reason why is because any expansion of them is invasive to our rights. In NV the issue was that if I were to loan my gun to my friend I would, by definition, be breaking the law. Is that really necessary? Even if we are at a shooting range and I were to let them shoot it that is illegal by the way the law is written.

It was just that the left had so much power compared to moderates and the right that they silenced the right and moderates. Trump bullied back because he had a platform. That is why he gained so much support. Noticed the people Trump attacked? The media, journalists and other politicians. Not everyday people. I do not want war, but the problem is that the left has lost their minds to the point they will divide this nation even more and it will lead to war. Also, one will argue this is not a functioning democracy. When the entire media was against Trump and was hiding Biden, and many rules were changed to go against Trump that says something. Look at how Trump condemned white supremacy often but the media ignored it. Look at how BLM rioted but the media called it "mostly peaceful", but once a group of Trump supporters do it bloody murder is cried. Our democracy is almost dead and will be if the left does not clean up their act.
