That could be a greeting card, well said..

People have different perspectives

Wow,65 Olds & 65 Shasta trailer that was old school! You can feel it talking to these folks, its gonna be a long time before batteries will work other than basic transportation. If it did why aren't all the mail services using EV?
2
I like Trans Ams, any different?
2
This is the good part of these electronic devices, many of us are relatively new (10yrs) to the internet. It can be evil but on the other hand it can be almost therapeutic. Peter is one in a million literally.
2
I see some beauty in the area but it wouldn't be my cup of tea. Kind of a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there. Just the hurricanes alone, also more critters than I want to live around. Put me somewhere between the big cities & this,I'm happy.
2
I believe it too, salt of the earth folks.
2
I know how Gerald feels,I just turned 67 & where did the yrs go? I went from being the young man in a room to being the oldest man in a room in what seems like 20yrs! Very interesting talk, these Cajuns do remind me a bit of the Amish. They can do great things w/ so little..
2
About 68 or so The Jackson Five were living here & getting ready to move to LA to get their big start. I lived outside of Chicago & traveled through the area. It looked bad back tben. I see the guy telling you about them now.
2
@saljablo2767 I did,got away from Camp Lejeune for 3wks & they had a good club on base.
2
And brag about their extensive educations!
1
In short you either adapt & succeed or you don't & it looks like of all mid size cities Pittsburgh seems on a comeback. Other cities should study their model.
1
@RaspingPompano2 I lived in Liberty till I was 11, that was 68 we moved away. Our house was Girard my school was liberty.Thanks..
1
@RaspingPompano2 LOL, I saw Vienna, I thought you were in Austria..Of course you're out by the airport..
1
These keep getting better & better. I'm a little like Wes down here in Florida.
1
We can always count on Pete to cut through the b.s. & get the skinny on things. This is absurd! Vote Trump!!!!!
1
You can thank Bill Clinton in 94 for NAFTA,sending manufacturing jobs abroad. It was the beginning of the end for American jobs.
1
Probably is..
1
Because they are voting against trump.no one is voting for biden
1
Politicians pit us against each other. And the media perpetrated it as well.
1
Good as it gets, its impossible to get everyone's point of view.
1
Good talking to this gentlemen, who else wanted to finish his stew?
1
He'll be there in sure,if he hasn't already. Have you tried goggling,I know I've seen his N.California video.
1
Same thing that's happened to Boston.
1
This gentleman told some good stories,Peter you sure know how to pick em. N.O. reminds me of Detroit of the South. Lots of similarities.
1
Oh she wants the correct things, she just wants a Democrat to say them. I have neighbors who are the same, very conservative but vote along Democratic party lines because they want to support a Union.
1
Sitting out in my lanai sipping my coffee watching you're video, that's a good Sunday morning. Hard to imagine in 2024 people live without tv,air conditioning & the internet. Some look happy but some kind of have a blank look on their face like their doing this out of duty. I have to be happy whatever I do,& by that I don't mean drunk or high but spreading a good word & smiling & making others happy!
1
Lol, well send some real ones over!enjoy
1
Yep..
1
Kind of embarrassing, I'm a Marine & just shake my head. Although I'm not in her shoes, I do have respect for Bruce Jenner,I don't know what its like to be a woman in a mans body so ill leave it at that.
1
Not many woman at that church program.
1
In reference to the Mellon family having say so as to who moves in isn't that unlawful? Anyhow the proof is in the pudding. What a nice quiet town.
1
Freedom is great but you have to have law & order. Nice places/things will always be expensive.
1
Oxy & Xanax ,what a good high but extremely dangerous combo.
1
The gentleman in the restaurant is just starting ,he'll be on probation & that alone should keep him clean. But if he makes it thru that he'll have some freedom. Best of luck it took me several tries ,I just did it @64,2 yrs clean on percs & xanax.turf road fr.
1
Good one Peter, I wish more people down on their luck would venture out here instead of mucking up streets & neighborhoods.
1
The media is quick to discount the flyover states & certainly anything pertaining to belief in God. I do think they try to pit one group against another.
1
Trouble is u can't force the issue, they have to want it. I did it after 40 yrs of abusing drugs & I didn't go away to some expensive place. Same w/ quitting cigarettes, if at first you don't succeed try try again, eventually it'll work.
1
Holy cow,are those people lined up for the crawfish & sausage?
1
Good one Peter, the line is longer than the line at the pharmacy! That's great
1
Trump could be kicked back on a yacht without a worry in the World. He's the only President that lost millions in office, every other President became a multi millionaire after leaving office. Not to mention he takes a bullet & risks his life,NAFTA was brought in by Bill Clinton, that was the reason our jobs went overseas.
1
Some of the places you go to I've been there. But years ago & some of these places had bad reputation then,I wonder if you have any close calls.I'd never get out of my car in South Central La,or some of Miami's hoods.Been there done that but not unscathed!
1
Businesses will come & go, the Pharmacy will always be there! Lol,kind of a sad fact but we do need em. Life in small towns doesn't change much at all.
1
SF reminds me of Boston back east. It changed a lot in the last 30 yrs. Old timers could no longer afford to live in either. They both have it all,if u have the $$ for it.
1
You tube,I've seen em before
1
Good point!
1
I visited a couple times in the 80s & 90s, I didn't find the people or the weather especially warm but maybe it was just me idk. I'm used to Southern hospitality, maybe I expected too much. Just a little snobby.
1
I wouldn't work in a coal mine but I'd sure do that. In fact I was a steel worker for 45 yrs. I was a fabricator,I set up machinery & made parts. Hard work but not crazy hard. We had a hard time keeping employees yrs ago. You have to be pretty good at math to set machines up & program. There seems to be a lack of ambition in this Country.
1
She's waiting for Harris to copy all of Trumps policies. No tax on tips; that woman has never had an original thought.
1
Idk, I need Just a bit more commercialized. All the closed down storefronts would bum me out. I guess I'm not ready to go back to the way things were a hundred yrs ago but I tip my hat to those who can.
