@clairesjunk2000 Yet you really have nothing for them, and they have nothing for you. Isn't it glorious?

@imagomagus So I guess it's like, you can either play the game and get ahead, or you can be the natural you and take what you get. It reminds me of how people always say, "Don't be a know-it-all." Well, if I know things that might help someone, or correct them on something, I'm going to say it. Why? Because that's what I'd want them to do for me. In your thinking, I should play like I'm dumber than I am just to make other people feel comfortable and to get ahead. A thought: you can't build image and character at the same time.

@natashka1982 So what are you doing tonight?
1
@II-eb6mw True, but he also believes that the U.S. (i.e. his extended family) is superior and that all other nations are expendable for the sake of Americans. That's taking the philosophy too far.

Why can't I save this vid?
1
Yet this video preaches the exact opposite.

@lo-lifecntral2789 lol

Shouldn't we hold out for whatever we really want? Isn't that the very key to happiness?
1
@JesusLoverForever7 Obviously, you haven't priced ground beef lately...even the cheapest cuts.
1
@trah625 Maybe you don't read very well. I didn't dismiss her whatsoever, in fact I admitted that she has some valuable things to say. The pretty face comment was in reference to all those (men) hanging on her every word like she's health-omniscient.
1
@Isaac5123 I guess if you eat one chicken wing for a meal.
1
@refusalspam She did demonize oatmeal, which is a disgrace. There's no bad time to eat oats unless you have an unusual sensitivity. I have no respect for people who make such blanket statements.
1
@user-zv8md9xv8c I agree with you completely. Can you explain why this refutes anything I've stated? It seems more like you're taking my side.
1
@ItzjahSon 60 is young, but something tells me she'll think differently when she gets there.
1
@agi.kitchen You sound a little bitter...just saying.

Said every politician, influencer and public intellectual since the dawn of time.

How to win friends and manipulate people.

Russell never evolved past adolescence. Authority's not a bad thing, it's necessary and unavoidable. It's a question of what you uphold as the authority in your life? I personally think defaulting to some spirit in the sky is a crutch and a cop out. Man up, already.

@gillb9222 It's an interesting approach but as yet just a theory. Unless you mean a majority dropout, in which case you have a lot of work to do. We're dealing with about 8 billions drones, it would appear.
1
@rhedhandedjilll Sorry, I forgot what I wrote.
1
@ckrystal141 Nope, because once you get yourself addicted to winning, as she recommends, your life will never be in balance.
1
Peaceful and joyful seems pretty inert. My mental health hinges more on maintaining my edge and intensity.
1
@prakharanand5760 It may not be toxic but it feels like a dry well. Really, it's about priorities. If you prioritize your family and community, you'll be secure from loneliness and have enough time left over to enjoy life's moments. If you do it backwards, all bets are off. This is what I believe.
1
@TheHealthConscounist Our egos are neutral, they bend to our inner psychology. We don't want a more peaceful life. We want dynamic, interesting lives. Why are you telling us what goals we "should" have?
1
51:28 This just proves that people are competition and comparison-obsessed...to our own detriment!
1
@agathalynx Yes it is, but women are willing participants in that harm and humiliation.
1
@mikeyblueeyes8449 Not when they're trying to warn us about the REAL threats facing us.

Challenge yourself. Stay nimble. Everything is a muscle.
