@Charliefox71 You don't think there are companies that would have a problem with the American flag representing them? Try Twitter.
1
@tommygore8857 These two guys are on the exact same page almost all the way through. It's like watching a mind meld. Why the hell wouldn't Joe accept a reciprocal invitation? Makes zero sense.
1
@kaibe5241 Cool, I thought we were implying he didn't like Bill.
1
@kaibe5241 I understand why after watching the end of the video (I'm the same way), but now he's committed. A man is only as good as his word.
1
@billwright8649 That's pretty sad if someone would vote down a brilliant podcast just because they don't like the color scheme. Says a lot about us, really.
1
theblacksashman Well, we see enough to understand that China is the land of human rights violation and pretty much everything that goes against the essence of American values...values being different than culture.
1
Right but they lose their edge, almost every time.
1
Working is the garden provides a lot of good bacteria for one's body.
1
@randomserbianguy5677 I'm sorry, this video really irritated me and I think Snowden's controlled opposition at this point. I have no intention of rewatching.
1
@randomserbianguy5677 I liked what Snowden was saying but I got the feeling that he can't be trusted. He's too polished. I'm irritated because every time I think I've found a little truth, something negates it.
1
Yeah, I agree he was a little off-base there. I would say there's an ideal size, in the range of 50-100 people.
1
Watch South Park "Band in China." It's way better than this mess of a video.
1
Love and unity are available 24-7, we simply don't want them. That John Lennon crap sounds great but it's never worked. We want friction and complication.
1
@tepillebailando "T" = conflating pervertedness with rape.
1
This is good leftism.
1
Ben Shapiro vs Naval Ravikant in a rap battle.
1
A young kid growing up could learn everything there is to know about American politics from watching this single podcast.
1
Well, it helps when you have a damn interesting person on the other end.
1
He does say let's get everyone rich first.
1
The blue side of the spectrum is harder on the eyes. They make apps just to filter it out.
1
@RemingtonMK I don't recall him stating that. What about the part where he says that everyone can learn to code?
1
@jeffmiller3499 I've said multiple times that I like the guy...how is that negative? As for the coding issue, it's complete BS. Sure, everyone can write a piece of code that can count to 100, but Ravikant's implying that everyone can make a living coding which is a total crock! Maybe 25% of the population has such a capacity and the market would only support that much anyway. He's just off base about this stuff.
1
@alexanderwestphal9777 I didn't hear anything "woo woo" in there.
1
@programmer1840 So can an excess of it. Money brings its own set of problems.
1
This is the thread for people who "slipped through the net." These are the non-conformists who got inside and found a way to develop an 'unlikely immunity', and to basically live by their own code. (aka The Renegades) Bob Dylan Bruce Lee Tom Petty Stanley Kubrik Joe Rogan Matthew McConaughey Nelson Mandela Gandhi Rush (the band) Jordan Peterson (blasted through the net) Ron Howard Woody Allen Matt Stone and Trey Parker Mike Judge Leo DiCaprio Yuval Harari Ayn Rand Albert Einstein F. Nietzsche Daniel Schmachtenberger (hopefully...I'm looking at you, Joe)
1
Well said.
1
Yeah, Joe didn't seem too disturbed though.
1
This girl has powers. She bent the entire conversation to her will...at will. Even sowed some new beliefs for Joe. In awe.
1
Until these guys quit exalting capitalism, they'll never reach enlightenment. That said, this was a good talk.
1
What a dumb thing to say, that antioxidants don't have much impact on longevity. If they keep you from getting cancer (just once), I'm pretty sure they've prolonged your life. Taking care of our cells should be priority number one.
1
Here's what Gabbard is missing. There comes a point when leaders like Assad and Kim Jong Un themselves must be considered terrorists, and hence it goes against policy to negotiate with them. You actually end up validating their internal tactics and terrorism-based governance. Gabbard is basically taking a utilitarian approach which inevitably leads to compromise. Do we really want to compromise with terrorists? Libya may be worse off today but at least they have a chance now. (Note: I'm not making a statement that we handled things properly in Libya.)
1
She was already on and got invited back faster than anyone.
1
@hittman1412 She was the same person last time around, check it out.
1
@ericv8868 Yes, but it doesn't make frogs gay and that statement alone should have discredited him for life.
1
@Nick-ce6lt Maybe, but he's still a buffoon, and we already have enough of those in this world.
1
Sean Fisher Being feminized and being made gay are different things. The estrogen crisis has been around a long time and everyone should be well aware of it. Soy is the biggest culprit but since it's a billion dollar crop in the U.S., it's not going away soon. In fact, they're still trying to put a positive spin on soy. There may be more gay frogs (and humans) today than ever before, but correlation doesn't equal causation. If Jones wanted to do something useful, he'd tell people to never touch a store receipt instead of pointing to things we have very little control over.
1
Sean Fisher "Atrazine, one of the world's most widely used pesticides, wreaks havoc with the sex lives of adult male frogs, emasculating three-quarters of them and turning one in 10 into females, according to a new study by University of California, Berkeley, biologists." Why am I doing your homework?
1
@BarrackObamna That's NOT gayness. The frogs were literally turned into female frogs. wtf
1
The Rebel Wisdom festival dumped me out here. Pretty good talk between these two guys.
1
You don't need an altered state of consciousness to question the existing power and authority structures. ffs
1
Joe's changed a lot since this.
1
@NickPoeschek But Joe's NOT everyman...and neither is he the vapid hippie pothead that he should be. Instead, he's smart as hell and he's making the rest of us look like the tools that we are. I don't know what the story is behind Spotify, but it doesn't seem like the worst type of selling out. 100M goes a long way toward an underground bunker for your family for when the big storm comes. And the skies are threatening, my friend.
1
She'll be remembered as an American hero, assuming this country survives.
1
@filmstvandlife8747 What predictions?
1
@thelvadam5269 You're right, it IS hard to believe. But look up a journalist named Edward Rothstein and his departure from the NYT six years ago. You'll see that the disease had already taken root. He even explains how it all happened in a recent article for Die Zeit. She's not lying.
