Kamala's Passover Brisket in the Jewish enclave of Brentwood on the Westside of Los Angeles. Game over.
3
Hitler was jailed for insurrection, wrote a book while in prison, and shortly thereafter became Chancellor of Germany. Don't they teach that anymore?
3
I do not agree with Islamic Law from the 9th Century which places me in a subservient position as Dhimmis. The original legal apartheid.
3
FALSE, the San Fernando Valley Catch Basin was expanded, in 2023/2024 it captured 96 billion gallons of storm runoff, enough for 2.4 million homes for a year here in Los Angeles. The counties to the East of LA doing the same, the Bunker Hill Catch basin will be larger than the Shasta Reservoir up north.
2
Mine, too.
2
Netanyahu is 74 years old, nothing "permanent" about that, he is also not "King", unlike the one they have in Jordan or the permanent Ba'ath Party in Syria where Assad was taken back by the Arab League after the death of more than half million of his people.
2
@maracohen5930 Check the 9th Century law of Dhimmis, Jews in Islam did not "disappear", just made, along with Christians, 2nd class citizens subservient to Islam. What's old is new again.
2
LA Fires nothing to do with climate change or global warming, that's nonsense, one fire was possibly a down power line the rest arson. Fire/Wind events have occurred where I live since before humans arrived. If they seem worse it's because more people are here. No structures were involved in the recent Lake Hughes fire and is good for the environment as many plants use fire/wind events to propagate seeds and the fire provides nutrients. Humans are adapting by hardening their homes to fire and new State fire codes. FEMA is only one of many who help those displaced for LA fires, many, many of our locals companies and organizations coming out to help and support recovery. We don't rely exclusively on the Feds.
2
There is no permanent replacement?
2
@ericeandco I agree, having looked into her work product. PhDs are now being handed out like candy, and many Dept chairs are told not to "fail" anyone, it's bad for business.
2
Transjordan, agreed, Abdullah was their guy, should have went with him.
2
Do you believe Israel is a sovereign state?
2
Allen Licthman says Harris, he's got a pretty good "call" record, but Vegas has it going to Trump.
2
"Trump" didn't deliver? Lipson, did you forget Covid and two impeachments? Libson is banal and bombastic, too bad more time wasn't given to Alan. But I do agree, we should start with a crime, not the person, and DA Bragg made a campaign promise which he fulfilled before he knew the material facts of the case, very bad day in America.
2
Why do so many podcast talking heads have White Bookshelves to the ceiling as their backdrop. It's a non-partisan aesthetic see all the time?
2
Santa Ynez reservoir was closed to repair cover in Feb 2024 (not NOW) and the area was being fully served by the Upper Stone Canyon Reservoir also used by helicopters to transport water to fires on both sides of the hill. The Encino reservoir also active and the Canadian Duck planes used the Pacific Ocean. This guy is way off.
2
@ "dramatic shift"? I'd say that shift began 35-40 years ago, with roots going back to the 1920, the long march into the institutions.
2
@onceamoth I'd search this prompt History of DEI: The Evolution of Diversity Training Programs – NDNU The link will take you to a full history of the "shift" to the far, far left.
2
"Another Way" other than Jihad? These are Islamists, they have faith in their superiority. Here in the US we fear White Supremacists, but the Jihadis are no different. They even have a law to back up their superiority, DHIMMIS. This is not nation/state resistance, this is medieval barbarism, as predicted by both Churchill and T.E. Lawrence.
2
This guy is incorrect, the scale is not what he described. Much like the Paradise fire, those who want to be on their burned out property are using RVs available, El Monte RV has stepped up for LA as they did for the Paradise fire. People will not be sleeping in Parks. Utter nonsense.
2
@ Yes, I'm seriously frustrated by the political mileage based on fantasy being used. I voted for Trump and to recall Newsom. I even worked on the recall of Gray Davis after he sold out our prior grid. The MSM lied about Trump so I voted for him, now they are lying about Newsom from the alternative right media. I need to turn both off.
2
Jordan Peterson considers his wife to have more masculine traits that he does?
2
The Mexica/Aztec did not use the Gulf, they were a land-locked settler-colonial people from the North who invaded what is now Mexico in the 12th Century AD. Why name a Gulf of water after a people who never used it? Amerigo Vespucci was the first European to recognize that the lands Europeans landed on were not part of Asia, but a completely distinct continent. Vespucci's voyages took place between 1497 and 1504, and his observations and letters helped popularize the idea of the "New World". Name the water after one of the indigenous people who used the Gulf or Vespucci, not the genocidal Mexica/Aztec.
2
Ibn Saud stole the Hejaz from Sharif Hussein, should Saudi Arabia give Mecca back to Jordan?
2
agreed, I came of age in California under Nixon, Cockburn's conflation with Nixon and DeSantis is nonsense, their background and temperament are totally different. Nixon was a petulant mamma's boy, DeSantis is a mature adult.
2
Yes, also left out is the clash and war between Ibn Saud and Sharif Hussein. TE Lawrence was correct.
2
True, but Amin was betting on Hitler to win WW2, and why he spent the war in Germany hanging out with Eichmann and meeting with Hitler in 1941. At least Egypt kicked out Morsi and the MB to some extent.
2
"Stripped", or now level with other theme parks in Florida, like Universal. Disney was a "state within a state" of Florida, they attacked DeSantis with that power, he took it away. Sounds fair to me.
2
The increased ratio of women in media and politics directly corelates with the exponential growth of trivial, personality based content. Science, and a 40 year social experiment in egalitarianism in Scandinavia, has proven that to be true. Our ancestors knew something about human behavior we took for granted, then unknowingly pushed aside.
2
San Diego, CA has the largest desalination plant in the Western Hemisphere, it serves 10% of the county and growing. More are being built throughout California. Some of the Prop1 projects are held up in GOP controlled Kern Valley. This is not just a one party issue.
2
@rodgerhempfing2921 Border with Egypt, too, so not all the walls are Israeli
2
no, no it does not.
2
A revelatory look at how Roger Williams shaped the nature of religion, political power, and individual rights in America." Not much "shaping" then. I'm writing a book. "Oliver Cromwell in America: 1641" A counter-factual with no slavery and female suffrage. Cromwell did threaten to leave England. What if he had? Winthrop vs Cromwell. LOL
2
The Woke Left in the West uses "Common Enemy Identity Politics" to support Hamas, and why they also chant "From the River to the Sea" when not even knowing what river or sea is referenced. Both are anti-American, anti-Capitalism, and anti-liberal.
2
Agreed, I came of age in California under Nixon admin, have listened to long form interviews with DeSantis, and they are nothing alike. Cockburn is cockeyed in his view.
1
'Nudge' economist Richard Thaler wins Nobel Prize US economist Richard Thaler, one of the founding fathers of behavioural economics, has won this year's Nobel Prize for Economics. Prof Thaler, of Chicago Booth business school, co-wrote the global best seller Nudge, which looked at how people make bad or irrational choices. Judges said he had demonstrated how "nudging" - a term he coined - may help people to exercise better self-control.
1
So, The Ottoman Empire finally wins World War One.
1
"civilians", is that a joke? It's criminal trespass by foreign invaders. Out they go.
1
"civilians", what do you mean, is that a joke? They committed criminal trespass.
1
@MarkHibbard-r3f Yes, he writes of the little known Russian Zionist movement before Herzl.
1
Hashemites were traitors to their Muslim brothers in Ottoman Empire, fighting with the Christian and Jew British. How did that work out?
1
I came of age under Nixon admin here in California, Cockburn is nuts, DeSantis is nothing like Nixon.
1
Nixon did not have a reason to doubt the 1960 election, that is a myth. Kennedy would have won without Illinois. This guy does not know American history.
1
@Mrsammyd99 defending Trump, even his friend Larry David yelled at him for it, Epstein was not it, just added to the weight.
1
@afritimm Even Fox has cooled since the impeachment case, they rarely call on him, Newsmax not mainstream.
1
His writing covers that well, check out his books.
1
@scarletsletter4466 You think humans who lived together for centuries didn't get it on?
1
@deal2live ? required, yes, but there is an Arab/Bedouin Brigade in the IDF. 20% of Israel is Arab, 16% of those are Muslim.
1
France and Russia cozy up, Germany and the Low Countries get nervous, Britain looks to play both sides against the middle. I think I saw this movie before?
1
St. Croix airport expansion partly funded by US Government and Hurricane relief funds, no Chinese involved. Why not question Tucker and fact check his statements, I often find them to be incorrect.
