Although the Romans had a tough time with Bar Kokhba, it wasn't there most pressing issue in the empire, they really didn't care so much they needed to "mock" them. They had crushed them, to the point most of the fighters committed suicide on Masada. After the Bar Kokhba revolt in 132–136 CE, the Roman Emperor Hadrian further suppressed Jewish nationalism and expelled Jews from Jerusalem, renaming the city Aelia Capitolina and barring Jews from entering it. However, it's important to note that not all Jews were expelled from the region, and Jewish communities persisted in various areas.

I listened his full interview and he is ignorant of basic facts, like LA captured 96 billion gallons of stormwater runoff enough for 2.4 million homes for a year. The Los Angeles Department of Water and Power feeds both homes and hydrants, not something either the Mayor or LAFD directly oversees. The LADWP is run by a commission elected by the LA City council and the Mayor, but they do the work. Hydrants don't fight brush fires. I voted to recall Newsome and did not support Bass, but if you blame them you will not solve the base issue which is prevention. Palisades a time bomb ticking for 50 years .
