If say the nation was literally one "Race" they would be the people, so regardless it would still be a form of Socialism. Maybe not the form many would like. TIK has made it quite clear, the National Socialism, is not Fascism, nor is it not Marxism, nor is it Classical Socialism like that of the Social Democrats, but it is National Socialism, which is a FORM of Socialism, not the same, but still Socialism. Socialism is the State control of the means of production which all those definitions make quite clear.

  9. "Work sets you free" was a phrase used by a lot of Labor based Prisons. Including the Gulags. In America it was part of the idea of "Rehabilitation." Prisons were actually used in the USA as cheap SLAVE labor for generations. Road Building Projects, cutting grass and picking up trash. Making License Plates, etc etc etc. STATE owned Slavery using Prisoners in short to do often some of the most mundane work.

  13. A lot of times it isn't even the sources, it's how people perceive sources and their legitimacy in general, almost like holy relics. I find it very annoying when I here someone say "TIK is lying because the sources he uses contradict his arguments." It's baffling to me personally because, just because someone uses a specific source doesn't mean they agree with said source. TIKhistory can cite any source he wishes, even if he doesn't agree with the conclusions the author comes to in said source. How someone doesn't understand that, and believes if you're citing a source, that you have to agree with the author's conclusion and not doing so is some how manipulating history is beyond me. That isn't how it works. Did these people ever take Composition 1 and 2 in college? When I try to explain to them that the reason TIK doesn't agree with said author is because that author does a great job describing "Red" but then concludes it's "Blue." Since author concludes it's blue often the author's readers believe it's blue, as if they didn't understand what they were actually reading. The contradiction is already there, but since TIK doesn't say "Blue" he's the one who is some how the contradiction.

  14.  @dr1flush  Socialism is more of a tree than a box with branches that can be radically different as they spread farther from eachother. Similar to Christianity and Islam believing in the same god, there is no written rule that states a Racial Socialist isn't a Socialist vs a Class Socialist, or Nationality Socialist (Fascism), or a Sexist Socialist. etc etc. Socialism is the common core that links them together, some of them are worse than others, while some are vary mild. A Libertarian Socialist believe in Free Market Capitalism, private property, limited state control over people, etc etc but are very supportive of socialist style state welfare programs as just one example, they're Socialist, but no where near as extreme Socialist like Marxist, Fascist, or Nazis.

  15. Fun Fact I had fun with the other day. Youtube recommended me a clip from a TV show which I didn't prior know about where HItler Youth were singing/dancing to the Party's Anthem. Well I had the keen observation to actually read the translation of the lyrics while they were singing and just smiled when I say it say "Reactionary Forces." So I couldn't resist but make the joke "Yep you definitely know they're socialist when they refer to the Conservatives who opposed them as Reactionary Forces." You can imagine the kind of replies I got as a result. But yet it's even in the Party's Anthem.

A lot of people forget that after WWII, Germany faced Reparations light years worse than even Versailles, and Germany is still paying those reparations today, yet is among the ten largest economies in the world.

Issue with Hitler speeches in general is often you just have to switch out a few words and you end up having a speech many, definitely socialist, social activist, among many other 'group' focused movements would agree with. This is ironically the lesson I was taught in Social Studies back before it was renamed Social Science. They basically listed off a lot of things a politician stood for, their personal life and some of their history, in a vague fashion to mask who they are, then we had to vote on who we wanted. We were not told who those politicians were. Hitler would almost always win those in class elections.

  25.  @andreialexandrunichiforel  Personally for how bad the USSR was terminally wounded by Nazi Germany, in a fashion they never recovered according to TIK's video on the post WWII Soviet Economy, when taken into consideration how little resources the Nazis had at their disposable. Even if Hitler became a painter, honestly the USSR was always doomed to fail, just like Nazi Germany. So a RA Hell March Scenario is a technical impossibility. If WWII didn't start and say the USSR decided to start WWII, imagine Finland, but on a larger scale, on a larger front, against more countries, the red army likely would of been obliterated, maybe not everywhere, but everywhere in which the country had competent armies/officers, even if small, as they didn't get that Finland experience to realize how F***ed up their military was. If Finland was a disaster, a larger scale version of it could of ruined the USSR.

  26. Simple answer is. Hitler didn't want war with the USA, you can argue "YET" that he would maybe one day. But Roosevelt most definitely wanted war with Germany, at the very least, for Germany to win the current war it was in. The USA was an economic, and industrial trade hub, and honestly if Germany become a dominate power in Europe, created a closed European economy with Germany at it's center imagine how much that would hurt American economic interest? Japan also wanted to create a Autarky with the Co-Prosperity Sphere they gloated about. This would of left the USA with only South America and the British Commonwealth nations as trade partners. USA at this time was always for open world trade, with half if not two thirds of the worlds stuck in closed economies imagine how much that would effect the world market?

I've never seen the phrase "Committed/Committing S-Word" replaced with other words so beautifully, and I swear TIK didn't use the same phrase twice, I had no issue understanding what he meant, and even started smiling after a while.

  28. There is a reason I used to use the quote from Katsumoto from The Last Samurai "I want to know my enemy." As it fits perfectly into history study. It's the main reason I got into studying the German Empire, Nazi Germany, the USSR and the the Japanese Empire. It's also why already by the time I was in highschool I would say things "Regardless of Nazi Germany's crimes, we would of been at war with them anyways. The crimes they committed were fortunate for us after the war." As I knew very well already by then that Nazi crimes were not the reason we went to war with them but for other political and economic reasons. To be honest, I personally think the crimes they committed broke history, as you can argue today, socialist have been fighting tooth/nail to distance themselves from Nazi Germany, and Fascism as a whole, which when combined with the Cold War, poisoned much of the historical narrative for decades.

  30. 29:55 Rowling recently compared activist with Death Eaters from Harry Potter. An accurate comparison when comparing how violent they were throughout the summer of 2020. I still remember seeing videos of them threatening to burn people's houses down who didn't comply with the revolutionary Fist. Plus the amount of clips of clubbings, stabbings, property damaged/stolen and at times execution style murders. "Mostly Peaceful" is a meme that I hope never gets forgotten.

  32. 11:00 to be honest. I think this falls into the category that Marxist spend their whole lives living on rhetoric and never learned how to comprehend what they're reading. If something goes against their beliefs they bash it down with slogans/phrases because they've been brainwashed to a point that their ability to critically think has been turned into mush. When those beliefs are challenged, similar to say when anyone who is religious has their views challenged, they fall into confusion and even anger because it's outside of their realm of thought. Getting the dates/time periods mixed up also is one of the flaws in the arguments that Hitler was a spy against the Communist in 1919. It relies on placing events out of chronological order, and as a result they believe it because they don't bother to actually think about it, they're conditioned not to think, and only believe in their priest's words. Hitler became a spy before he joined the DAP, but after the Communist Uprising was put down. So if anything he was spying on the DAP not the Communist. Yet so many Socialist believe he was a spy against the Communist... odd aye?

It took me about three days to go through the whole video leaving off at specific chapters so to speak, and I've since listened to it like an audio book numerous times at work while working. Good way of putting it, it's diced up and instead of making a series out of it he made one large video. Some of it is a repeat of some of his earlier smaller videos as well on the same subject.

So for a Marxist the Nationalization of the Means of Production = Giving The Means of Production to the Workers. For A Racial Nationalist like the Nazis, Nationalization of the Means of Production literally just means taking business away from those who are outside the "Race" and giving it back to the "People" who are the "Race." Marxist fail to understand that what they want is nearly identical to what Nazis want. The only fundamental difference is one is built around a Social Class, and the other as Racial Class. You can apply the same thing to Feminism as well. Feminist want to use the State to force business to hire more Women regardless of qualifications. For a Feminist this is the Nationalization of Business. If women are in charge, and they're Feminist, their Nation is Women, so Women run business is the Feminist idea of "Nationalization" whether they realize it or not.

  41.  @IggyTthunders  TIK's videos also help crush H-Denial like a sludge hammer. I know from when I used to be part of it, one of the primary arguments were documents and plans to ship Jews East. But like TIK presented, the Nazis ran out of resources, food, material. Operation Barbarossa wasn't going to plan and even by 1942 they were suffering shortages in food/resources in general. It's why the Wannsee Conference which would decided the fates of millions of Jews didn't happen until 1942, it is more than a coincidence it was decided that particular year. In spite of the pre 1942 killings/people who starved. I'm glad he is addressing the economic side on top of the history and politics. As it's an argument I've made for years when I left H-Denialism. Reason most people leave it is because they find out enough to realize H-Denial arguments are often BS after you read enough into it. Sadly some never do and they stick to what you can call Memes. But when you realize that logically why would the Nazis keep millions in camps while their own people are starving. You realize they didn't, they let them die, if not flat out murdered them. What happened in the Ghettos is perfect proof of it, they were literally letting people starve to death in mass. Why would it be any different in the camps? It wasn't because of "ALLIED BOMBING" or "ALLIED BLOCKADES" another excuse. But the Nazis preferred to let them starve/die vs their own people.

According to Eric the evidence that Birkenau was an Internal Sleep Camp was Irrefutable and so he just couldn't make videos on the subject anymore. That is all I remember why he quit. There could be more personal reasons but... I'm not even sure his blog is around anymore.

  44.  @dr1flush  For how much TIK pointed out writers who were liars ie pro Nazi Wehraboos. Honestly, I think they're not afraid, but intentionally lying/sweeping under the rug. As TIK said many times all historians are bias. It will effect what they write, and what they include/exclude from what they write. So when you see examples of Socialism and call it State Capitalism to hide that it's Socialism, that is likely intentional, or done so out of ignorance. Heck TIK even pointed out when Marx advocated State Capitalism at one point in his life, and properly cited. Amazing how Marx would advocate State Capitalism. I wouldn't be surprised for example that Richard Evans even knew that, being he focused much of his career on Nazi Germany, not Karl Marx. So he likely didn't know what State Capitalism was, and took other people's words for it.

  46. A Rock and Hard plate is a good description of the civilians trapped between the USSR and National Socialist Germany. I've often described it as being stuck between an anvil and a hammer. For example one description I often describe about Ukraine. You had pro Communist Partisans, Pro Nationalist Partisans, Pro German Partisans, AntiSemites among all their ranks. If you helped the Germans you were likely going to get murdered by Nationalist, or Communist Partisans. If you helped the Nationalist Partisans the Communist, Pro German and German forces would likely kill you. If you helped the Communist, the Nationalist, Pro German and Germans would likely kill you. If you refused to help anyone and tried to be neutral they'd likely accuse of you treason still and likely kill you. So I ask, if you were a farmer, and someone came by asking for food, what are your options? There are reasons why German patrols would come across farm villages completely empty of life after a ruckus was made by the partisans, and there are reasons why many fled with the Germans when the Germans retreated as well. These people were not given many options, and often punished for actions beyond their control. You can imagine a German Patrol forcefully taking food/livestock from your farm, then the partisans come by and find out your live stock is gone, and much of your food when they themselves came by wanting the same, imagine their reaction when you say the Germans took them, some of them would likely accuse you of treason. Imagine if the Germans came by and found out you allowed partisans to do the same, they would accuse you of aiding the enemy.

  49. I think one of the biggest issues people often have is they fail to understand what Nationalism even is. A Nation is an Identity, not lines on a map. It can mean almost anything under the sun when you break it down. Why do you think almost every Community thrives to make flags to represent themselves? Because they've created a Nation. They've not created the Nation State that they live under, they're often hostile toward the Nation State. But they've created their own nation within an already existing Larger Nation. The Nation State system has been confused with Nationalism, and many people actually think Nationalism is exclusively racist or Statist. Which isn't really true. A lot of Nations have no "State." But the Nation exist. Many Nations existed as slaves of other larger States, and throughout most of European history there were no Nation States, the Nation existed under the surface ruled by Monarchs and Lords who often had little in common with the people's they ruled. Why today is the era of the Nation State is because most of those Communities formed their own "States" often built around some kind of similar Identity, ie Nations, Nation States. But this happened after the fall of Monarchism, so their National Identity was the glue used and at times failed when forming their new "States" again hence Nation States. In this context, the Working Class is an Identity, it is a Nation. As TIK has explained many times, it actually makes Marxist Nationalist who mascaraed as Internationalist. Because Marxist don't understand what a Nation even is. You see this with a lot of Leftist today who are obsessed with Pride Flags, they literally created their own Nations, their own Identities, and proudly go around parading it in front of other people's faces. They're Nationalist even if they refuse to admit it. Nationalism in short is a very gray, murky word when you really break down what it means to be a "Nation." The American Nation for example wasn't built around Ethnic or Racial Lines. American Nationalism as little to do with Race, though some white supremacist, and black supremacist will argue otherwise from opposing camps. Nationalism doesn't = Racism in short, but Nationalism can equal Racism. Today many consider Nationalism and Racism to be the same thing which is just so blatantly wrong that it openly shows those who think that, literally fail to comprehend what a Nation even is.

  50. Honestly it was 'less' deniable from the beginning. Even when I was a Fascist it was pretty blatantly obvious the Nazis and Fascist are Socialist. Literally just have to look at what they did, and even read their own literature on what they believed and it's pretty undeniable already. There are reasons Nazis and Fascist even in the 21st Century still consider themselves Socialist. It isn't because they're lying. TIK is pretty accurate in his assessments as a result, and most arguments often used to prove they're not Socialist normally only succeed at proving they're not "Marxist" which is a no brainer, no Nazi would disagree, no Fascist would disagree. But when it comes to proving they're not Socialist normally the evidence used is sketchy at best. Often requiring a historian to do a great job describing "Red" but then calling it "Blue." People ignore the description and just accept the conclusion that it's "Blue." Because comprehension is a hard skill I guess.
