@Insecthouse and in the pyramid of victim status, it's wierd how often right wingers claim eternal victimhood 🤔

@robertwilliams2323 sounds like you are still stuck at denial
31
Best bit was how deadpan he played it. They can't complain about overblown dramatics or silly voices It's funny because it sounds exactly like they do
29
Anyone else notice how Nick wildly seesawed between desperately wanting to be a loyal Boris supporter, and his instinctive need to brown nose someone who is influential and important? Poor Nick couldn't do both at once, and the result was both tragic and hilarious!
29
I am seeing more insight and wisdom in this comment section than I got from that panel!
29
I've got no time for people who'd rather play party politics than get round the table" Says the Tory party MP, the party playing politics and refusing to get round the table...
28
How do you satirically kidnap and imprison someone?
27
How low have we sunk - "not as bad as Boris Johnson" is now the high point of recent political leadership!
27
I am totally on board if they want to stop the viciousness and character assassination. Welcome back to civilisation! But if they think this newly re-civilised debate is over? Big, fat, no to that!
25
@manbearpig3231 Labour also caused the great flood. Noah still hasn't forgiven them
25
Being skint and needing to work three jobs to cover the bills doesn't give you much time for engaged parenting There's definitely a link to poverty
25
Showing any kind of human decency seems to get you pushed out of the Tories...
25
"Westminster has failed and we should abolish parliament" Maybe not abolish, but the voting system needs changing! Proportional representation please 🙂
25
@tonygange7636 The Tories won't represent anyone but themselves. How does it go? A Tory, a white cabbie and and black cabbie are sitting at a table. There are ten sandwiches. The Tory quickly takes 9, turns to the white cabbie and says "watch out, that man over there is going to steal your sandwich!"
24
Agreed! How long to we have to be stuck with a bad idea before we scrap the bad idea? Privatisation has failed
24
They've already done that, they are working their way through everyone else now
24
Our glorious Turnip Monarchy. Like a banana republic, but with wetter weather and an old man with a crown!
24
Are you telling me you never accidentally set up an offshore tax shelter? Surely that's a mistake we've all made at some point! /s
23
@oldphrt quick question - did the Irish peace process advance through dialogue, or by carpet bombing Dublin?
23
@ravd8082 you need to stop living in the past. If Brexit is important to you, 2016 is irrelevant You need to convince the next generation that Brexit is worth sticking with
23
@PoldarkGodzilla I don't want Isreal destroyed, but I do want Netanyahu and cronies standing trial!
22
@lestrem11 While there are worldwide problems, some places have reacted better than others. Our government has not done well 🙁
22
@Daniel Oliver maybe I forget something, it's a long time ago, but I don't remember Brown coming up with a set of pledges mid-term that competely re-wrote the election promises
22
There is a DEI problem Donald and Elon's Incompetence
22
I think the big problem is we have newspapers that manufacture problems. Do we actually have an immigration crisis? If you didn't read about it in the news, would you notice it in your day to day life?
21
@kev2b3 Vote Green. We're can pressure Labour to change, just like UKIP changed the Tories (but in a better direction)
21
Suella has school mates in the Rwandan government. I smell a scam at our expense
21
Which uses more oil per kilowatt, wind farms or oil fired electricity generation?
21
And it took an undemocratic emergency lordship to make it happen. Accountability is in tatters 🙁
21
EU membership was vital to our economy. Sure, the Tories skimmed all the cream off and the wealth wasn't shared fairly, but money was there Now, the wheels are coming off, but the Tories still expect all the cream and refuse to change. All the cost of living problems are only going to get worse under the Tories ☹
21
and blame Truss and Kwarteng, who despite their Special Financial Operation are still beloved by Tory party members 😳
21
@ecaeas4439 What's most frustrating is we genuinely had incredible soft power for our size. Now we don't even have that ☹
20
Well, Trump is either senile, or a pathological liar. Pick one!
20
@jeffsuter344 the difference between Starmer and Cameron is paper thin, but at least he's not Liz Truss!
19
I would normally consider laughing right in someone's face to be rude This one was so, so so deserved!
19
Apparently transparency and accountability are "left wing" I am happy with this assertion 🙂
19
@John Russell some of the undermining of the foundations can be traced back to Thatcher, although the cracks didn't show at the time
19
Yep, I am so ready for boring and sensible!
19
Wish I could have a fly an the wall view of the next cabinet meeting, with Truss and Raab in the same room!
19
@Yournicked Where the city centre coffee shop loses out, the one in my neighborhood gains. It's the free market in action - I thought right wingers were all for letting the market sort things out without governments interfering?
18
The less power he has, the more honest he is - wonder if that works across the whole Tory party? 😁
18
Yes. We don't like liars here!
18
Right now it isn't being run for businesses or people. It's being run for the benefits of overseas tax haven accounts
18
@ednorton47 are you one of Ferrari's crowd, who don't like this Brexit, but refuse to tell anyone how your Brexit could be different?
18
What we need is properly targeted taxation. There is money in the economy, but it is stale and stagnant, sat in property and offshore accounts that won't grow the economy I won't pretend it's an easy fix, but it's the only fix. Get that wealth moving and productive and we'll see recovery start to happen. While the money is allowed to stagnate then the economy will stagnate too
18
Dismissing concerns about apartheid as "antisemitic" hasn't aged well, has it?
17
@uemackay1592 what does "work together go get through it" look like? Will tax cuts magically fix everything?
17
I am very sad to see him resign. I wanted to see his face on results night!
17
@jjefferyworboys8138 I'll give you that - you probably can scrape together one million or two like you out of the 67 million people in the UK
17
"You're putting words in my mouth!" "OK, so what do you want to say?" "err, goodbye!"
