Maybe mini referred to how much money we'll have left once they're done?
2
Lots have reduced a bit, but only one had a spectacular drop!
2
@undoisitreidezero5242 somewhere with similar pay, but shorter hours and less stress?
2
@garyfitzpatrick3562 anyone who rents or who has tried to get on the property ladder knows where the countries wealth has gone - to a handful of people with vast property portfolios
2
When will the Democratic Unionist Party start feeling embarrassed about their refusal to participate in democracy?
2
I think someone already has
2
Penny Mordaunt still seems desperate to have a go, there should be time to squeeze in another Prime Minister before the next general election!
2
@babycharliebrown yet she'll just nod along with a Tory deflecting and dodging questions 🤔
2
@bowantoia8536 I was playing on the Tories love of efficiency - so I told them how they get to be more efficient by nationalising! Think they'll take up my suggestion?
2
The government has had months to settle this. Blame the government for dragging it out!
2
It's nothing special, it's just getting back to normal pay after over a decade of broken austerity
2
That's his job - greet international dignitaries, and summon the butler to serve posh sarnies and tea
2
There's a few people like that in the comments here, too!
2
The "independent" body is only independent within parameters set by the government 🤔
2
Once licences are sold we have to buy it back at global prices. This makes some tory chums richer, but does nothing for us
2
@Be Real she could be sharp, and looking out for herself If that's who she is, it explains why she isn't talking straight about what she's planning!
2
@asmith9140 yeah, the mouldy ones only went up by 99%. Tragic news for slumlords! /s
2
It's not really a pay rise if it merely matches inflation though. That's break even
2
Rishi would have been selfishly competent. He'd have taken the biggest slice of the cake for him and his, but made sure the cake was good overall Liz is busy incinerating the cake
2
Who should we trust? The financial Times or the minister for the 18th century? 🤔
2
When did good manners and respectfulness stop being British values? 🙁
2
@bossman1905 In the south, and the big cities, that's not a decent wage
2
I agree, and would go further. He's just wrapped his car round a tree, and is now stumbling around in denial. Accidents only happen to bad drivers, so how could this happen to him ? Will he learn, or is he going to be that guy who spends the rest of his life sitting on his own in the corner of a pub, ranting about how he was cheated out of the rightful rewards that someone of his genius and talent obviously deserves?
2
The Tories talk nonsense, and the companies won't talk in public at all!
2
Are all their candidates going to stand this time?
2
@Lolo-lm5xx Getting ill people back to work is good for revenue too! Huge waiting lists full of people signed off work til they are better is not good for the country
2
Mostly in hotels owned by Tory donors 🤔
2
He does care, he's doing his best to purge government of both
2
What we need is a more democratic democracy. The current one only just scrapes over the bar
2
@James Pope That as well, but given the current system creates an elected dictatorship from only 40% of the vote, maybe the two are related? A more accountable government would care more about doing a good job!
2
@thefifthdoctor6780 I remember the Blair years. Definitely better than the last twelve years have been
2
This started ages ago. Blame the owners for dragging it out so long
1
I am commenting as I listen, and I have to call this out too. Apparently we have a strong economy with almost no unemployment, the ideal time to justify higher wages, yet we can't afford higher wages One of those two things is a lie. Which one is it?
1
Good idea, but we need longer than one year!
1
@mpgnz73 the government owns the contracts and has final say on industrial disputes The Tory government are the ones responsible here. Look at Scotland and Wales - where the contract isn't controlled by the Tories, no problems!
1
We don't need wild, untested ideas to fix the NHS. We lay less per head than most European countries If we want to be like those health systems across the channel that everyone says we should copy? Start by putting in as much money as those countries do!
1
Nobody else does letters. If Royal Mail closes, who will deliver Christmas cards?
1
@YouTubeSupportTeams Is it greedy to want to pay the rent/mortgage, bills and feed your family without needing a food bank?
1
Which country has a good service on less spend per head?
1
It's not artificial manipulation, just the natural consequences of trade barriers
1
I don't like the price of everything growing faster than my wages do 🙁 The Tories have broken everything!
1
@jlhuz they are leaving! That's why wards are short staffed
1
Only another 44 years to wait!
1
We could be like Australia and pay nurses about twice as much as they are currently paid in the UK!
1
Short answer is Labour would handle it. The Tories only managed to deal with 4% of applications. The massive backlog is why they are now having to book hotels Get the checks done and deported can be deported rather than stay in hotels. Sometimes the solution is that obvious
1
@RaRa-eu9mw so true. The real cost is corrupt cronies at the top - talentless numpties who's only qualification is going to school with other corrupt talentless numpties Sack them all - there's no shortage of hard working people who will happily do those jobs for less!
1
@Bessie Hillum I am sure he'd love to talk to people who understand how money works, but sadly he's stuck talking to our Tory government instead
1
Only Tory members. Normal people don't trust him
1
@neyson220293 I guess the damage she is doing to the Tory brand is some small consolation for the damage she is doing to the nation
1
@Haflafbaf but that's exactly the plan with the bonfire of regulations bill!
