Regardless, your point really doesn't have any bearing in this case, or in any case where continuing a pregnancy puts the life of the mother, the infant or both at risk.

He didn't accuse them of genocide, he didn't liken what they're doing to the holocaust. He wasn't "equating" in the way you suggest he was. It was a comment on the language being used. And he is not wrong.
