He's a good gambler and letting him win Crimea was a massive failing. Now we're dealing with this as a consequence. Settling on terms that favour him means we're back here doing this again in less than a decade. But you just stick to glib one-liners, that's about the limit of your "wisdom".

Russia is struggling to perpetuate the war as much as Ukraine is. Look how far and wide Putin has had to go begging. And the toll its taking on his position of power only grows as time passes. But go on, tell me what else it says on your sheet.

This event is tragic and horrendous. What is worse, though, is the fact it's far from the first time that corporate greed and cost cutting has ended up costing lives. And they've gotten really good at getting away with it.
