I don't disagree, I'm leaning more towards Norcott on that matter. But this issue is about the culture of misogyny at GBN.

@nurtaytulegenov7431 Spoken like a true sulky teenager. The perfect poster child of the movement.
2
@hornchurchtower7108 That's a lot of empty waffle. I don't think you could actually back any of that up with a decent understanding of British history.
2
@hornchurchtower7108 It doesn't prove your point at all. But your evasiveness proves mine.
2
It's always the invisible boogeyman, isn't it. Always that "trust me, it happened" line. Get over yourself, Chris.
2
Which should really tell you something about this crowd.
2
Didn't they load it up with explosives a few months ago?
2
@jimi1is3king Do you disagree?
2
@Ibluntlysaywhatithink Can you not see the irony in calling them British traits in the same breath as admitting these traits were symbolised by a non-Brit?
2
@samuel5742 It makes no sense, when that private option is absorbing resources, denying them to people in need just to favour those with wealth. And for poor return, since there is the need for profit to be made. If the intended outcome is quality healthcare, why does it make sense to siphon disproportionate resources and put them behind a paywall?
2
My non-STEM further education experience is limited. But it was less about teaching you how to think and more about here's what we'd like you to think. I don't think that's representative of the whole, I'm saying it can really vary based on who's delivering the education.
2
@haleytownsend7544 Do you seriously believe there was less violent crime during the 50s?
2
Shut up. This is tired old nonsense that gets wheeled out every time by Farage fanboys. I'm a working class person but I'm savvy enough to see Farage for the conman he is, to see how gullible and easily led some people are to blindly follow him.
2
@jacqueslandry2319 Exactly, define what? British culture has changed and shifted constantly because that's what people do. You can't comprehensively define British culture for everyone.
2
@Robert_DeVille I'm voting Green, in line with the principles I hold.
2
Gave him more of a telling than you are.
2
These political parties are one of the main problems. Get rid of the parties, we should have an easier time forming a truly representative government. Eliminate lobbying, change the system so instead of government focusing on enriching wealthy donors, focus on improving standard of living of everyone in the country. It's a big shift but we've gotta do something. This isn't working.
2
You can't say multiculturalism has failed and then point to people who refuse to accept it as the reason. That's laughable.
2
@fredarcher7264 It's not semantics at all. It's identifying cause and effect. Why on earth did you think it was semantics?
2
@fredarcher7264 And, to your other comment... doesn't get more pompous than trying to talk down to people while not actually having any substance that you can defend. That's you, by the way.
2
Why are you unable?
2
@SimonWardleMillar You really don't get what a loophole is, huh?
2
@commentatorofstuff You're trying to deflect from the actual point with your strawman.
2
Neither does the rot these Reform voters are obsessed with, yet they're pretending it does.
2
Until you get sick.
2
@Deleteyourself83 So this is a classic case of commenting before watching...
2
@Deleteyourself83 So they actually addressed the very thing you're complaining about, but your complaint still stands? Thanks for giving us all a great demonstration of entrenched bias at work.
2
@kevinmcdonagh1063 So why do you think the Tories have a monopoly on British culture?
2
@operationgoldfish8331 How does that translate into them defining British culture?
2
Do you have any evidence that Islamic migrants commit crime at a higher rate?
2
So there was this protest for peace in Palestine today, right? And these guys were against, or "anti", that. So they turned out to defend a monument that wasn't under threat from a march that never went past it, as had been repeatedly stated.
2
Yeah, I broadly agree. As I've said to others, I get that this particular male issue has profound negative effects on women. I think there's value in hearing a couple of takes on those effects from women. Despite the name, "home truths" rarely, if ever, come from inside the house. But I totally get what you're saying about it being limited in regards to finding solutions, that this problem is systemic more than or at least as much as it is individual and that it really can feel like an attack to already-vulnerable men who make up the core audience for these amoral, alt-right grifters. So yeah, next step is to broaden the panel.
2
Key aspect of the kinda conspiratorial thinking used to manipulate and exploit these people. The enemy must be vague and nebulous, so that it can be changed to fit their political needs.
2
Then they're failing. Labour had a strong lead, simply by dint of not being the Tories, which they have squandered and continue to squander, on account of... being the Tories.
2
@IanLynch-b7e But don't worry about what the OP said, right? That makes perfect sense to you?
2
@doodle1983 Where's the joke?
2
@doodle1983 There's nothing clear about that. Nor is that at all better than if he was slagging her appearance. What a weird defence to make.
2
Because said car is contributing disproportionately to air pollution levels. What's wrong with wanting cleaner air for everyone in your city to breathe?
2
Your whole rant falls down at the first hurdle, you've failed to demonstrate that politics is a form of religion. For one thing, it's frequently questioned, debated and refined.
2
Superb counter argument, well done.
2
They did, months ago. You might be disappointed though...
2
@SeanSmith-f3t It might amuse you to listen to the rhetoric of fascistic leaders and see how closely it does, in fact, align with those views.
2
@tomjohnson9833 How have the political left caused us to be only 45% self sufficient on food? Ironic you also saying they've "gone American" when tbe political right in this country are importing Republican talking points almost verbatim.
2
@tomjohnson9833 Sure. And I'm referring to the right wing tactic of trying to distract people from actual issues by playing on the fear of the "other". Kinda like you're trying to do.
2
Which same people?
2
@j.4332 You got a source for that claim? Any evidence at all? Or are you only capable of repeating the same statement over and over?
2
Found the incel...
2
@campbell3711 Go on. Use more emoticons, they make you so much more convincing.
2
@campbell3711 Because yours was so incisive and cutting...
2
@campbell3711 Yeah, you run along now. Big words are scary for you, I know.
