  1. Adam, I am really turning over in my head your developing theme of "quicker shortcuts" in recipes and methods, and feel it wiser to withhold judgment. If the quality of ingredients and the nutritional value are equal (and you are doing well, it seems, on that front) AND it is motivation enough for people to to opt to do it rather than purchasing substandard fare, then it is a B1G win. Personally, I'd probably take the extra 3-5 minutes to shape the baguette dough and accordion pleat the parchment to make a makeshift cloche. Thank you for your videos. They are always interesting, usually informative, and frequently funny. "Masterful" communication skills :-)
