@chrisL50764 Yes, but GMRS requires a license, $35 for 10 years and anyone in your family is covered under the license.

@ronb6182 It was lowered to $35 April 19th when the FCC started charging $35 for amateur radio licenses.

Congrats on 30K subs. Do you have free roaming in the U.K? (Roaming to other areas without extra charges?). When did it become commonplace there? AT&T started that here in the states around 1999 with their "One Rate" and gradually all the carriers here had free roaming from the mid 2000's and up. I think most carriers now have free roaming within the U.S.

I remember when night vision went north of $795.

I know they have tree cell towers in some areas in the states I think I saw a picture of one on the New Jersey Parkway somewhere. I've never seen any tree cell towers here in the Midwest U.S
