I witnessed school lunches in South Korea, France, Phillipines, Germany, Japan and Puerto Rico . All incredibly great food. We are killing our kids in the USA.

So they have to wait longer...but somehow still outlive us by a lot.

Definitely food on Asian and Middle East airlines is way superior than US based airlines.

Rise of dollar stores equates to the crumbling of the middle class and upward mobility.

There is no separation in the US either. "Private" industry and The Pentagon are symbiotic.
429
Looks like CNBC still doesn't know the difference between Rusia and Europe...lol

Because they are 2 separate worlds. One is real day to day life. Wall St is an eternal casino.
295
I moved to Tokyo a few months ago and the train system here is as perfect as it can get. This includes the civilized passengers riding the train, clean, quiet, nobody is talking on their phones, etc.
288
Premium economy is what a normal seat was before the airlines went rogue
287
When the trillions of stimulus goes to to Wall St, and not the people......it will always fail for 90% of the country.

100% I lived there for a year. During my first trips to Seoul, I remember leaving a 25% tip at a restaurant. A few minutes after I left, someone was chasing me down the mall. I thought I was in trouble. But it was the waitress chasing me down to return my money. Wow....I felt so bad. Lesson learned.
255
When healthcare is a for profit system, then its totally normal to expect hospitals to close.
248
2008 economic collapse will look tiny to what is coming.
243
No. The Fed interference makes things worse. Rich people get free money....but the entire nation suffers.
226
They really manipulated that one...lol

It will fail if they keep building for cars. People will get tired of being stuck in traffic just like in every other trendy growth area that failed.

There are 4 Nintendo Switches in my household. Mine, and my 3 daughters. I have almost every game console since the Odyssey in the garage....lol The only thing I asked for every Christmas since 1981.

But cruising is turning into Spirit Airlines. It used to be all inclusive, but since the 2010s they have been partitioning services that were part of the cruise reservation and charging additional fees. I expect it will eventually apply to luggage too.
146
I never understood why planes are not boarded from back to front before covid. Its the best way to keep the isles clear from people who don't know how to put their luggage in the overhead bin.
115
I lived is S.Korea for a year....those folks really care about their beauty products.
114
China got tired of taking in our trash. Our recycling program has been a hoax for a long time. People thought it was being processed here in the USA.
113
Just moved to Japan, No tips Better food Better service And cheaper than in the US
111
Opening a Starbucks in Vietnam is similar to opening a Blockbuster Video store in the US in 2020. Vietnam coffee culture is like 200 years ahead of US coffee culture. Starbucks copied cold coffee from Vietnam.
107
‘Muricans do not have the mentality to follow road rules that would allow an autobahn type road in the US. I lived in Germany for 4 years and used the autobahn daily. Only saw 2 accidents that entire time.
105
It’s not competition if the top 10 builders all build the same low quality basic house.
102
Because of crony capitalism. The builder, the bank, the realtor, are all looking for a quick profit. Cardboard houses are the most profitable scheme. The buyer is at a loss because all options are the same.

I lived in Germany for 4 years....and bread there is not full of the poisons we get in US bread. Sourdough is very common
88
Lol....I came to comment on it....and you already had. Pence should've said..."you deal with us, or we bomb you into doing so"
80
Android is free....IOS isn't
72
CNBC....you are 4 years late. If you would've covered Bernie in the last election, it would've been an entire different outcome.

Best vacation deal for your money. Food, entertainment, cabin, travel to different destinations on 1 trip, all for $100 a day.
66
A fake war on terror just to justify more spending to enrich the Pentagon contracting companies.
62
Outlets are a scam today. Outlets mall made sense in the 1990s early 2000s. Items were merchandise out of season or returns from main stores. Then companies started making lower quality products to sell at Outlets only stores, and at prices just slightly lower than the real product. A total scam to the customer.
57
Also in Germany...no toll roads...and in pristine conditions. Lived there 4 years.
56
@Minney-Me The title is 100% misleading. Gen Z is not doing anything. Gen X is paying for Gen Z house.
56
Palantir getting unwanted attention. They are one of the largests spying tool in the world.
55
I started using UA early on. And then when they started making military clothing , it was a must have for us in the military.
54
American made cars can’t sustain speeds on the autobahn. German cars can be put on cruise control for 45 minutes at 120/MPH and feel like it’s 40mph because the cars are so smooth.
54
USA corporations always looking into new ways to scam the people.
53
This feels like an Amazon paid advertisement
50
CNBC works for the rich.
49
Iron Man 1 literally shows how the US military sells weapons to the enemy, to then tell the US people that the enemy is stronger, and now need a budget increase....lol People in the US are so tamed.
49
The $1200 the people got so far has been a 1 time thing. That's $1200 for 2 months of living.
46
Jared Hamon Lunch system in Puerto Rico is mainly cooked from scratch Puertorican food. Food industry has lobbied to get in the system also and things have worsen since.
46
Boarding should happen rear to front . 100%. That way you avoid the bottleneck that people with geometry difficulties create when putting stuff in the overhead bins.
45
If you are rich, NO. If you are poor, working class, YES
43
@shasmi93 100% my exact thoughts. It will never work in a place that does not follow civil society standards. I also lived near Seoul and the train system is also super efficient.
42
I remember doing a paper on Foot Locker back in Grad School 2003. Pretty much learned during the research that their end was near. I see that stores are still open, but their shelves barely have anything on them.
