Since I was a kid in the 1980s, I always knew I was going to leave the US after retirement. Retired at 40 and living in the Caribbean, Spain and Philippines since. Superior quality of life than any of the 7 States I lived in the US. (TX CA WY FL NY SC CO)
41
I live in the USA....and my State does not have a Popeyes. Wyoming.
40
100% pointless to talk about 2020 numbers for any company.
38
Tech hubs should be in cold places....not the desert. Easier to cool servers, saving $$$$
38
@jensenraylight8011 Yes...but only in the USA. The Lexus trim is the businessman model, and then the Sequoia and TRD 4Runner satisfy the adventurous ones....making the Land Cruiser almost pointless to buy.
37
Their own Purdue data shows clearly that they alone knowingly created this opioid epidemic. There is no but, or doubt about it.
37
Keurig will never work outside of the U.S. because people not in the U.S. have higher standards for their coffee .

I’m Manhattan born from the 1970s. Lived in S. Korea 2010-2012. Europe 2012-2016. Just moved to Tokyo Aug 2023. Those mentioned places do trains really well, especially Korea and Japan. It’s possible. But the US is a sick and wild society. Our culture does not allow for anything to function as a civil society.
35
Elon eliminating the incentives that benefited him. Keeping them from his competition.
32
Very true. It's cyclical. But our US folks have short term memory, and do not realize it. Before CA became a powerhouse, the people that made that, came from the NE, after that area became saturated. And after TX goes through it, it will move somewhere else.
32
I liked YT when people weren't getting monetization from it. Now its just full of scammers and click baits.
31
Voting in the USA is made difficult by design.
31
The work ethics of the people that work in international versions of US restaurants is superior. Which translates to superior customer service, experience, and food. I have lived in 7 different countries and only the US experience is the subpar one. Just moved to Japan and you can see how the workers at McDonald’s are working as if they were getting paid $100 an hour. 😂

I work in the pharmaceutical industry in the USA.....saw this entire opioid crisis develop. It was easily predictable. But money always wins over common sense. I remember questioning so many prescriptions for oxy, percocet, vicodin, that could be easily replaced with tylenol 325 or advil.....but nooooo.....Dr wrote it....and the patients would never take the word of pharmacy over the Dr's. And when we would blacklist a patient abusing the system....they would just get their prescription somewhere else easily.

10 States contribute to the Treasury. 40 States are subsidized by the Treasury.
27
US labor culture is so archaic.
27
People need to realize that this whole loyalty program thing is about the company doing everything possible to NOT give you perks.
26
Agree with your kids. Too hot, too crowded, not as magical.
25
I live in WY, There is no technology here. We just die.
25
Feel bad for that Gen having to lie to keep the machine going.
23
Always shocking to see Mnuchin as Treasury Sec. Feels like a comedy sketch

I lived in Germany for 4 years. When I first got there, visited a BMW dealership to buy a car. Picked the car, signed paperwork....then the salesperson said.....ok......the car should be here in 3 months. Lol I was like....but it's right there behind you. He said....no....that's a showroom car....yours will be built and delivered. Had to rent a Smart Car for 3 months Lol
20
Easy... make cars that don't break down....reliable, and good customer service....people will follow. USA cars....made with intentional obsolescence to have you at the mechanic constantly, or buy another car. After 2 USA made cars....no thanks. Only Toyota and BMW has filled our garage. Zero complaints.
19
South Florida feels like a bottleneck as far as movement.
18
@flakgun153 No. People shouldn't have to shop around for best prices on their prescription medications.
18
The entire stock market is a meme stock. Why is CNBC so upset? The entire weekday programming of CNBC is doing the same reddit did.
17
This place has ok cheesecakes....but a failure as a restaurant. Before covid.
17
The dollar is already digital. 90% of the currency is created in a computer.
17
@CGoffgrid Lol
16
Easy. Pay a living wage. Sometimes it is cheaper to stay home when you compare it with paying for work expenses like childcare/transportation costs/wardrobe/lunch.
15
I’m Justarandomdoggy I have voted by absentee ballot while overseas in the military. I have zero confidence it was counted...lol
15
@Sifulete :/ Nope. I was a kid who took care of my toys. I retired at 40, no debt, no smoking /drinking.....so I have plenty of time and spare money to spoil my kids.
14
True....both Sony and XBOX are at the lifecycle point of their consoles...which is 6 to 7 years. Stadia is a bust...and it looks like Google is desperately paying for advertising masked as a news article.
14
@themaltesesailor9774 Lol...nice try. Meaning how socialist models in the European Union are completely different from socialist models in Russia.
13
I am 46....and have never stepped into a Chuck E Cheese
13
I was buying from Eastbay catalogs in the late 1980s. I used to save those Catalogs.
13
@ssimms8995 Im a Male and I started using them....they are awesome....lol. That was 2010-2011. Still do today. I'm 45 but look 35....lol
13
Meanwhile Asia has been drinking cold coffee for centuries
13
Civil society has nothing to do with the composition of the people of a place. It has to do with the individuals being decent human beings and respecting shared common spaces.
12
Customers realized what most of us already knew. A-la-carte travel is never worth the hassle. You will fool passengers once with that system, but will not gain a customer base.
11
These are 2 completely different coffees and consumer markets. One makes watered down mediocre coffee. The other tries to provide a product close to what a coffee shop offers.
11
Guy at the end said... "Or a chip in your head" Like it was normal.
11
So basically Gen Z are having the houses bought FOR them. Got it.
11
3:03 explains the root. Corporations found another way to screw the working class and made it the law of the land. Even the military jumped into the scam.
11
In summary, this is a promo video for the School Security Industrial Complex (SSIC) Zero solutions offered
11
For the young ones reading and unaware of the root. This was supposed to be a temporary measure to recover from loses due to 9-11.
11
Leave it to the USA to always find a way to exploit for profit
11
We have been currency manipulators in the USA since eliminating the gold standard. But when someone else does it.....its bad....lol Jokers
10
I watched the video...and agree with OP 100%. They mentioned Japan and Korea for 2 seconds and moved on because they know the argument dies there. Gaming is way more intense there....and if the relation of gaming=violence was true.....we would hear of daily mass crimes from those countries.....but we DON'T.
10
CNBC on TV is to hype stocks for day trading. You know...that thing they were mad about when reddit did it.
