  2.  @wdy922  FYI PR pays almost zero Federal INCOME Tax. All other Federal taxes are paid at the same rate as the 50 States, and a few at a higher rate than 48 States (Jones Act).

  5.  @positivedestiny7152  The Justice Roberts opinion happened within the last 2-3 months. Guam, USVI, PR are all still Unincorporated Territories. No referendum, or any vote of any kind can change that. First step for these territories to seek Statehood is to get Congress to change their designation to “Incorporated “. Constitutionally, this guarantees Statehood eventually.
