  1. Some cops can be real jerks. I've encountered them. But I knew that if I lost my temper, I'd play right into their hands. What I don't understand is black folks saying they're terrified of the police but then jump at the first chance to fight the cops. It doesn't make sense.

  14. Parents insisted their kids have their phones with them all the time "for emergencies" and school administration caved because they're cowards. I taught for thirty years and kids answered and made phone calls (and texted) to parents and friends during class. Teachers in many districts aren't allowed to confiscate the phones and there are no disciplinary consequences because discipline codes are "racist". Me? I taught for thirty years, retired two years ago. I saw it all.

  37. It's a bullying tactic. Shout at the top of your lungs, repeating the same phrase over and over, until the other person gives in. They will keep doing it for hours if they have to and never get tired of it. If you're on the receiving end, shut it down by giving a simple directive: Do X or I will do X (call the cops, etc). And then immediately do it. There's zero chance of having a rational conversation at that point, so say what you're going to do it and then do it.
