Now, I don't even think he wanted to kill people, because he spent the day helping around and things only became violent when the opposing side went after him. But even if you were right, you can't prove it and you can't put someone in prison over a gut feeling.

You can't even argue about the scenario without making up your own alternative version of the facts. He was found not guilty of the charges dealing with the homicide. You really think people pick on armed people more often than unarmed. Also, one of the men attacking him was armed with a Glock.

Only the people who tried to hop on the gold rush bandwagon "failed" because they got stuck holding the bag. The "endless growth" mindset doesn't apply to most of the market and it's not even a reasonable expectation.
