Putin: sends troops to cut off Kiyv from the border by taking the highway and assassins to get Zelensky
3
@brownmold And then were invaded in 2014. They only sought NATO membership when Russia built up on their borders.
3
There's open source tracking of UA losses too. Russians will post footage whenever they can. Drone footage shows vehicle wrecks, by using dating and geolocation you can find wrecks that were not on that place in previous videos.
3
The artillery advantage is counterbalanced by shell supplies (Wagner always needed more), barrel life, lower quality spotting due to Russian EW affecting Russian Mavic drones too.
3
@teosal3224 Bakhmut was a 9 month battle. Spanned more than one season.
3
One side deliverately picked a strategy of placing as many civilians in the crossfire as possible. We're reaching the point people would argue we shouldn't have fought Nazi Germany because there were civilians in the way.
3
They won't need to retake Bakhmut.
3
@tomk3732 Size is irrelevant. Also, don't use mercator projection to measure Russia.
3
@skip123davis The F-4 was designed for carrier ops and it did fine in USAF service. It's always easier to use a carrier fighter on land than a ground based fighter at sea.
3
@Princip666 You don't have an argument, you just say things and expect others to believe. How is Turkey related?
3
Spare us the crocodile tears Alexey, if China annexes your homeland are you gonna flee or fight? And if you say fight, will you fight alone when everyone flees?
2
@kkarx Do we score soccer games by who has more kicks? The ball has to hit the net. Misses don't count.
2
MacGregor (not McGregger) has done interviews for RT in the past. He is a Russian asset.
2
Except that didn't happen. That's cope. The photographic evidence makes it clear Ukrainian attackers force Rusdians to retreat through a killzone and bombard their escape route. Highways of death scenes out of Izium and Lyman.
2
Russia is in a bad position. Hence the turtle tanks, golf carts and motorbikes.
2
@Pierluigi_Di_Lorenzo Most troops are not "equipped" (they have uniform, boots, and shoot once a year) and they're fed in mess halls. Cooking food at the mess hall delivered by contracted suppliers isn't the same as shipping out stockpiles of fresh food for field kitchens or cases full of rations to eat in the field.
2
@thc6664 "NATO is paper target" "NOOO NATO IS ON MY BORDER HELP!"
2
@andzzz2 How is Russia conserving its forces? They burned through DPR and LPR men like crazy. They had elite units in the VDV and naval infantry rebuilt multiple times. The prisoner battalions got it the worst.
2
The mud is tough to fight and live in, not just move. You want a mud season vehicle? It's called an aircraft. Fight from above while the enemy is stuck in the muck.
2
@Princip666 it's relevant. The Soviet Union was stronger than Russia, and even they hit the pain threshold.
2
They didn't leave at night, they drew troops back for weeks among civilians. That's how they successfully crossed. The last men to cross had to do it under shelling, video of that surfaced.
2
Exactly. This terrible waste is why we need to end the Russian state.
2
The 300k are the new Third Army Corps. Kadyrovites are on Russian TV saying that Russia must mobilize again.
2
@Pnumi I don't understand. A Kadyrovite went on TV to say they need to mobilize again for Ukraine. Why are you writing nonsensical fanfiction?
2
Zelensky can only work with what he has. Putin is the one who has the power to start and stop the war. Ukraine cannot go on the offensive and invade Russia. Making a video with the opposite perspective would be pointless.
2
300.000 trucks drivers don't make up for lack of trucks.
2
Already heard that one March 2022. Get something new.
2
Typically geolocated footage.
2
Not only did they do photo ops with released convicts, some of them went straight back to crime and got arrested again.
2
The DPR and LPR are staffed with Russian nationals mobilized for the war. Murz, LPR volunteer since the original Donbas war, said last year they were already scrapping the bottom of the barrel by conscripting wounded and mentally ill men.
2
Ukraine didn't get through integration with Europe like Poland did, and was stuck with the costs of Chernobyl.
2
The false flag theory was immediately brought up in Russia, then suppressed ("Ryazan sugar").
2
@blousesarebest No. Blackwater was reformed as Xe, Academi, then purchased by Triple Canopy. The last time the name Blackwater had relevance was when some investors purchased the trademark to make a line of ammunition after it.
2
An invasion force which is depleting in terms of equipment and playing away from home field is viewed negatively. I'm sorry, if the US Army in Iraq had been forced back into Saudi Arabia would that be seen positively?
2
@kimwelch4652 When you say civilian bombing didn't work in the US-Iraq war that is an implied accusation that civilian bombing was a tactic used.
2
@BojanPeric-kq9et The people "armed with cameras" had RPG-7s. You only watched the Wikileaks footage, not the pictures taken on the ground of the weapons recovered in the area. The person with a camera was filming an attack on US soldiers, that's what the Apache was responding to.
2
@championknife lmao we've seen the craters in Donetsk point towards the East. The dummies manning the mortars and artillery are firing rounds that go short over Donetsk.
2
What's the range on those bombs? How many Sukhois did Russia lose when they tried that stunt in Avdiivka? Those glide bombs get 11 Sukhois swatted out of the skies in a couple of weeks. You want to fly them deeper into Ukrainian territory?
2
NATO plays by Russia's tune.
2
@spxram4793 there was an incident where a Russian aircraft fired a missile at a British intelligence aircraft over the Black Sea. The air space over the sea can be used, which means it has to be patrolled.
2
HistoryLegends was pro-Russia for a while and he walked back when Ukraine started recapturing territory. Don't take him for an unbiased source.
2
Well, several times Russian milbloggers have complained about Ukraine preserving officers and NCOs so their casualties are mostly replaceable, while Russia loses officers and junior command along with their privates. They say Ukraine's army is degraded from fighting but retains quality, while their own army degrades from fighting but also loses quality over time.
2
I can say I have sources who saw Hersh getting paid by the Kremlin. A few years ago a Der Spiegel journalist who won a Pulitzer prize admitted to faking a story. Even the mighty have fallen.
2
The outcome is the same - it will just happen quicker.
2
They did. No NATO in Eastern Germany.
2
This is false. Private military contractors never did the heavy lifting, and they were paid much more than a regular soldier. The reason they saw fighting was because they protected infrastructure and people insurgents wanted to attack/kidnap. They were not hired to replace the armed forces, in fact they operated close to the coalition forces and even received air support for Army helicopters.
2
Yes, when a Democrat is president.
2
If it's nothing, why are they asking Belarus for training? Artillery? HIMARS has degraded the ammo stockpiles and counterbattery is silencing Russian guns. Aviation? Falling out of the sky.

@irahoppe3632 Richard Thompson said anyone who supports freedom and democracy should be supporting Ukraine. You're changing the subject by trying to bring undemocratic countries to the table. By the way, you're ignoring an issue - the legitimately elected government were the ones who "coup'd" against Yanukovych. The parliament held a vote to strip the president of his powers because he fled the country, vacating the seat. The parliament had politicians. They're the democratically elected government, because people vote for them and their parties. How can you claim the legitimately elected government was coup'd when the legitimately elected politicians did what politicians do - vote on an issue? By the way, the president at the time was Yanukovych - he had his electoral victory in 2004 overturned by the Ukrainian supreme court due to irregularities. Yanukovych engaged in ballot stuffing and voter intimidation. He used the criminal justice system to charge his political rivals and detain them. So Yanukovych's rule can't be counted as a democracy even though he was elected. He was anti-democratic to the point of engaging in election fraud.
2
@Princip666 Why is Russia using North Korean shells and cold war tanks if sanctions don't work?
