  4. Based on the subject matter, I will again have to ask: are people in Japan supplementing vitamin d3? Seeing as most people tend to avoid the sun to keep their skin fair they would be missing out on that vital radiation that allows the body to manufacture the hormone we call vitamin d3. I keep asking this question because one of the many benefits of vitamin d3 is the neurological uplift of your mental state and mood. Vitamin d3 is also something a lot of people are deficient in. It would be interesting to see if any studies have been carried out to see just how much vitamin d3 is consumed with the Japanese diet.

I believe the reason why you have so many male virgins like in the west in general is because the women have priced themselves out of the market for the average guy. From Nobita's channel I have learned that women are obsessed with host bars and their male hosts whom are all good looking. Women are also obsessed with Yaoi comics where the characters are always facially good looking. Women are also obsessed with pop star boy bands be it Japanese and Korean groups. Women are into sex work due to lots of reasons including economics. I also learned that women suddenly don't trust men whom chat with multiple women at the same time because they will think is the cheating type so average guys can't even be macho in their approach to dating. Then there's the raw economic side of that dating equation where women expect the men to be economically successful as well as being good looking enough to meet their facial preference standards. Oh and don't forget the crazy work culture that burns out both men and women. These are all high cost criteria to meet by Japanese men whom I believe have been brow beaten into mediocrity and insecurity since the collapse of the Japan economy in general. How the heck are men expected to compete with the ever increasing standards from Japanese women? Small wonder that the grass eater movement first kicked off in Japan. I think Japanese men should go marry women from other Asian countries or even the west. The average facial looking guy in Japan has to compete with dating apps, host bars, yaoi, pop stars, then westerners from Anglo-Saxon countries. They must either go find foreign women or get plastic surgery to improve their facial looks to meet the aesthetic needs of the modern Japanese woman. I hear in Korea that plastic surgery is what everyone does to compete in the dating market and they have birth rate issues also. All in all its a rough gig. Yet another reason for the demographic collapse. I read on Japan today that there is a city that was encouraging the use of letter writing to get singles to date and it has had some success. Funny how awesome women can find men to be if they can look past the face of the guy to know what's underneath. Even then there will be women who will still judge guys based on their looks but good lord; there are always more average guys than good looking guys in every population sample. The primary issue is that the modem woman is hyper obsessed with the 20% of dudes whom are good looking. This will leave out lots of men whom will remain virgins.

There's a pecking order in society for so many reasons and this is one of them. We are supposed to judge this woman so that all women don't follow what she does and detonate their family units because allowing them to run amok will cause the break down of that society as well as the civilization. Men also have pecking order controls to keep them in line. There are limits to YOLO as someone mentioned in this video chat stream and this is clearly a good reason for limitations. You cannot sustain a civilization with people who think like this woman, her kind of thinking should never be encouraged.

The young people need a break too, my generation had a raw deal after the 2008 financial crisis but we have since time to recover.   22.  @melelconquistador  human beings are like dice my friend we have to roll. I forget who said that but I found it interesting. Remember that Bruce Lee said something about being like water. Water is flexible it goes places, flows here, flows there, flows where ever there is space or a path. But at the same time if you pour water into a cup, the water conforms to that cup and becomes one with it. The same goes if you pour water into anything static; the water becomes static, it becomes that thing. You can choose to be one or the other. I chose to be like flowing water most of the time, I flow where there is a path to flow but there are some times where I chose to be static also. It all depends on the situation and what you really want and how you plan to get what you want because we are all pursuing happiness. As such Be like water, my friend. If you must flow then do that, if you must remain static then do that also. You have to be flexible in how you approach things, take and do what is useful to you and abandon what isn't. If you follow the way the Japanese mostly do things then you will be as most Japanese are. So if the fear of talking to people for fear of bothering them makes you static, you can choose to remain static or you can choose to flow it's all up to you in the end, you get to decide how you roll. Again, be like water, my friend; Decide when to flow. Also remember to be like a dice and never forget to roll. ;) Besides, Nobita mentioned that one of the best ways to form friendships in Japan is to engage in hobbies and events that people partake in so if the Japanese tatemae the fuq out of you with direct social interactions, you can then roll into every hobby and event you can find and flow through it all to reach the people you want to reach. A lesson in flexibility. ;)

Because really most of the stuff I hear about why people go hikkomori mode depends on their state of mind when dealing with what ever triggers that instinct, I am asking if people have all the tools to deal with that stuff, for me taking vitamin d3 regularly changed the way I view the world. I sleep better and my mood is always elevated. When you are in a positive state of mind you will rarely venture down mental paths of dark thoughts and whatever else. A trend I noticed in almost all hikkomori cases is that the majority are depressed, so they mostly go undiagnosed for years at a stretch. We gotta ask these questions man, what's going on simply isn't right.

Most are conservative and there are somethings to conserve, like exclusivity of relationships so that you can create families that don't explode down the line. The traditional family model has existed for thousands of years since humans mastered agriculture. Why change it now? No wonder Japan is in population decline. There are many reasons of course and stuff like this is one of them. Ironically Japan had an existing birth rate from the Edo era before they got westernised. Maybe they should go back to that Era socially. Heck, I will take the Meiji era also.

Just because the Japanese do certain things in certain ways doesn't mean absolutely everyone should do the same, especially if it doesn't work. They say the Japanese adopt aspects of foreign cultures into their own especially the stuff that works and leave out everything else, why should we accept things in Japanese culture that doesn't work? So most Japanese may not even be aware of such a conflict unless they truly are following it. It's interesting actually, almost as if the Japanese people are being mentally inured and suppressed. I don't think they were this way before the second world war.

  40. ALTERNATIVELY, native Japanese just need to have more babies. Not every child is suited for and needs to go to university. Get the basic education and then specialise in a trade. There are many trades being advertised to foreigners by the Japan government because natives won't do them. Everyone wants to go to university and work in the service sector. That mind set change needs to happen.

  42. Looks = everything. I have a Japanese language partner who lives in Nagoya city. He met his wife through dating apps, these apps are pretty much the only way people hook up and couple up these days. Dating apps rely on people's facial looks. If you don't have a good looking face don't hope to date anyone in Japan. I also recall that the women despise people trying to talk to them in real life because they automatically assume he is a player who does the exact same to every other woman. But then some women complain that men should be more confident in approaching them. It's all a mess.
