The worst thing you could do in a bear counter is run away, since it will only make you look like delectable prey to chase after. The best strategies in counteracting bear encounters is to join arms with your closest companion or charge at the bear with loud noises. That’ll make the bear think he is dealing with a more bold and larger creature, and will most likely retreat in response.

He had to climb up the wooden poles to fix the transformers and power lines every time the electricity went out!
