@Jomskylark Was flying today and most people on the plane did not wear a mask I suppose you are right it's a private company they are still allowed to force people to wear masks and people are allowed to pick an airline that doesn't. By the looks of things on the airport today with the majority of people not wearing masks the airlines requiring masks will have a small customer base to chose from so eventually they risk being out competed by the airlines not requiring a mask having access to a bigger market of potential customers.

Holy, they managed to scramble up 50 people man it looks like the bills have overwhelming support then I guess if that's the best they could muster...

@chocolatitomaravilla3899 Obviously you haven't been flying for two years then I never wear a mask normally but even I know if I tried to do that on an airplane I'd get thrown off instantly. For the people who actually went flying the last 2 years we all know it's not really about if you are pathetic or not. It's not about if you believe in using a mask or not you'd literally be refused and thrown off before the plane started without a mask. That being said I am very happy it's been lifted, in your regular life you could get by without a mask, mandate or not but on an airplane you really had no choice.

@Jomskylark Ah right Fauci and the rest of them have been sounding like politicians lately I forgot they were actually scientists. I suppose if they were politicians they would design and implement a mandate that would not classify a mask mandate as a sanitation issue and get thrown out by a judge in the first place...

@PedanticAntics Not relevant, lacking safety standards in the automobile industry is a no brainer and can easily be proven by statistics and science or just simple logic. The COVID-19 corona virus mostly spreads via respiratory droplets in the 1–4 µm size range, a cloth mask which is one of the most common masks used by the public has small holes in the fabric depending on how it's made the holes are up to 200 µm in diameter it's like trying to keep mosquitos out with a big chain. Surgical masks are a lot better but they do not provide a perfect fit so they are not very useful either. Your best bet would be a medical grade N95 mask as they filter out particles all the way down to 5 µm, if you want to be fully protected however you'd have to put the whole hazmat suit on with mask and eye protection. Trying to Avoiding COVID using a cloth mask is like going out on a rainy day with a book over your head to protect you from the rain, sure you will be able to stop some of the rain from hitting you but you will still be soaking wet at the end of the day regardless. So my point is a mask mandate would only be scientifically significant if we're all wearing medical graded N95 masks or better, which is not feasible as these should be saved for the hospital staff and emergency personnel at all cost. Even so as harsh as it would seem the survival rate of the virus is pretty damn high, the reason you see high numbers is because every single one of us will get COVID, some of us will get it numerous times which sucks but if you think a mask designed to stop 20-200 µm droplets is going to make a major difference against a 1-4 µm virus then you are sadly mistaken.

@tripe2237 I think if you were a virus you'd be laughing, b!tch please I already infected your whole population, twice - you think that piece of cloth is stopping me?
