Hmmm.. Phelps-Roper almost seems sane in this interview.
1
There are literally hundreds of examples of this - from fertilizer plants, foam padding plants, even technology plants - all violate regulation on a regular basis.
1
Here's what I see happening. He wants manufacturing to spin up in the U.S. But the thing is it's never going to happen. Robotics are a big deal too. Trump doesn't understand this. And this will affect everyone - from the poor to the middle class to the rich. Free and open trade has been what kept the United States afloat. And what do we make in the U.S. - well chemicals, computer chips, and some hardware.
1
If a fishing expedition and nothing more.
1
Klingenschmitt can stuff his bible you know where.
1
Medicare is hands down the best way to cover medical procedures and surgery. Their overhead is LESS then 3%. Whereas private insurers have overhead of 20% or more.
1
Just drop a baby like this from Boston to Virginia and I'd be happy!
1
I too was via the agencies of a friend. Let that subscription lapse. As to my username I do keep my amateur radio license though.
1
Well I could load blanks into it. That would be fun.
1
I think you've been reading the NRA magazines Armed Response column.
1
The old saying, go gas go boom is applicable here. Natural gas as a rule has a fairly low energy density. When we did the redundant power at the RI Sec of State's office that was mentioned. But get enough of it concentrated somewhere and pow!
1
Mercury is a neurotoxin. So there is some credit to high exposure potentially causing certain diseases.
1
I'm sorry but pharmacists are part of the health care system and as such should not be able to refuse service to someone because they disagree with their sexual orientation, or whether the pharmacist believes they've done something morally wrong to require those drugs. Policy should be any pharmacists who wears their faith on their sleeve like that should be out looking for a job post haste because under the policy I propose, they'd be terminated.
1
It allows you turn the kids over to authorities. The question is which authorities. And I can say, as a kid I was very stubborn - I'd be dead sure as shit if we live by Biblical law.
1
That's because Pat Robertson is an old fool.
1
If I recall under Rabbinical law isn't the Jewish identity passed down through the mother and not the father? That's how I've heard it anyhow.
1
I once worked in a DNA Laboratory and there was a huge liquid nitrogen canister there. It would vent out every now and then and there were oxygen monitors - if the percentage went below 22% and alarm would sound.
1
The thing you are bypassing so to speak is this: The autonomous vehciles - they have better sensory apparatus than humans do. So why not just set them loose?
1
Nope - it isn't true that we get more conservative as we age. I'm half a century and still pretty liberal myself.
1
Unbelievable - look the U.S. has been a polyglot nation for a long time. If you cannot get over that then you shouldn't leave your home. Me, I understand a little bit of Italian, a lot more of Spanish. I don't care what language you speak. Long as you understand money is green and you're a good person we're good.
1
I think part of it is your take down of a lot of anti-gay people. That alone - but you never triggered any sort of gaydar for me.
1
Sing with me... "Every sperm is sacred, every sperm is good, and every sperm is needed in your neighborhood!" Of course this is hypocrisy on the part of the Catholic Church. And it proves that the church is only about protecting its own wealth.
1
I think the correct and appropriate term is persona non grata! That is what former President George W. Bush is, persona non grata!
1
Think about it for a moment. FIrst North Korea cannot even provide widespread electricity to its population. And then think about South Korea - they have Hyundai Heavy, Samsung, and a multitude of other big tech companies. North Korea has none of that.
1
Did they even realize that this gives whole new meaning to horseplay?
1
Oh wow - Catholic - yeah my first 12 years of education were in Catholic schools. What really tore it was the year in high school we examined the Bible. And I do mean examined. It's then we learned of translation error, copy error and editorializing by scribes and the whole upshot I came to was it was all based in only so much bovine effluent and nothing more. And that caused me to step back and look at the church and I realized it was a sight, sound and smell factory.
1
Yeah, to hell with Time Warner. But then Comcast isn't anything special either. And I'm rather pissed at Cox - my monthly bill just shot up $10. They say it's energy costs but electricity has been stable so what the hell.
1
Well, I peg it at 29% of Americans but we're only 9 points divergent so int he same general ballpark.
1
What is more interesting about Curiosity is that she is more autonomous than past rovers. That in itself is pretty fascinating. And I agree with Louis - defense spending is excessive.
1
I see a 1st amendment case coming from this. By the way, you make a mistake talking about it being illegal. It is clearly UNCONSTITUTIONAL.
1
Of course it is fear mongering. Or bluster if you really want to get down to it.
1
Actually, being a bigot is more a birth defect than anything. Their limbic system is off.
1
And I'm an InfoTech/InfoSec guy and I say security is accomplished sort of the way an onion is constructed. Security must be multi-layered.
1
A headline if you will "Prayer Kills"
1
I'll give you one Ajit Pai - he has no business being the lead commissioner at the FCC. And Ben Carson, Rick Perry et al are all morons.
1
I see a 1st amendment case coming from this.
1
A lot of Heinlein's books are excellent reads.
1
Oh man, a bigot cavalcade! Nice job David. You almost lost it a couple times though, hell I couldn't keep myself from calling them assholes either. But you do a good job! And please, interview Maggie Gallagher and Brian Brown. And in the case of Gallagher, tell her love and kisses from her least favorite opponent.
1
I understood a long time ago how stupid vast swaths of the U.S. population happens to be at this time.
1
He's got name recognition and that counts for something. And he could be a serious threat to Quinn. It'll be interesting to see how he fares in the race.
1
She really is a piece of work. And I read about her drunken grope with a guy. That was more than I needed to know about her.
1
Iran-Contra story is a good one. I recall a cake was sent to one of the Islamic clerics along with a shipment of arms.
1
That one about 5 years of more. What he completely neglects is how many reverted to homosexuality in less than 5 years. Ooops!
1
Recall too that Tillerson called Trump a "Fucking Moron". An accurate assessment on Tillerson's part.
1
In all the numerical analysis I've one about the electorate I find there's a core of 29% or so that are the bat shit crazy.
1
I have the same t-shirt as Louis. Got it off Woot.
1
Oh and the other thing about Randy - he loved water and loved to play fetch.
1
Where I live they recently went to single stream for recyclables. In other words paper, glass, metal can all be mixed. Much better. But we could generate a lot of our energy from trash. Hell, they just VENT the gas from the landfill here and only recently started burning it for energy production.
1
This is going to be interesting to see how it pans out. The city has a solid case and the church has no case at all.
1
Puritanical repression never works.
