  38. this reminds me exactly to what is normal in india or at least what was the state back a century or two ago in europe. one of the points of having the traffic lights and stuff and to get pedestrians out of the way was to speed up the movement of cars. with this shared space, it will be annoying to the driver to watch out every pedestrian along the way and more anxiety for the pedestrian to look out all the time
