Learn about ppl who have been proven innocent and how their lives were ruined by the case. They also pay because it can he cheaper than lawyers/court costs.

  49.  @robynwells8249  incorrect. A settlement doesn't stop CRIMINAL charges. It doesn't work like that. They won't stop charging you of that crime just because you and the accuser made a deal. No criminal charges were brought due to lack of evidence of it happening and witness accounts, etc. He paid her to sign an NDA to keep her from bringing a CIVIL suit because he didn't want to be smeared. Especially during that time when lots of guys were.
