it's not feudalism, it'ss cápítálism.
2
And people in power wonder why birthrates are down. Lol, what is the point of bringing a human into this world, when the humans who are already here are exploited sl@veworkers who have to choose between water and food or a roof over our heads?
2
@Magdalena287 : It's not about who watches kids. There should be no shame in having kids in pre-school / kindergarter or other care facilities, just like there is never any shame when parents raise them at home.
2
That's it. Capitalism needs to go! There is no way around this. It is a criminal and unjust system. It is neo-feudalism with oligarchs instead of monarchs and it has killed more people than any system before it. Time for it to be thrown into the trash can of human history.
2
There shouldn't be any contracts to begin with! If I buy a product, I should own it an be able to do whatever I want with it, without the company stealing my data, my identity and signing büllshit contracts that automatically get them out of trouble for creating a product that harms people.
2
Imagine thinking that becoming an extreme right winger is your redemption arc. xDxD
2
The math just isn't mathing...
2
True. If you have to pay for a job, you're a victim of an MLM / pyramid scheme.
2
I like to think of him als gay Lex Luthor with hair in his POTUS phase.
2
Yes, I agree. It's like they are constantly lying to themselves in order to feel special.
2
@jennieshepherd5845 "but it needs checks and balances": We have a bunch of those, but they don't apply to all people and to all people equally. Cap..ism can't fix that. There are always going to be owners vs workers with diagonally opposed interest. "Competition is good.": Cap...ism doesn't provide the grounds for good competition. Knowledge costs money, starting a business costs money, starting even a family, costs money. Only people with more than the median amount of an income can even participate in the economy.
2
Ditto
2
@LudwigVaanArthans "that's just 1 or 2 laws away if people really wanna do it": Oh, I know. Look around though: Most people aren't ready to seize property from cápítàlì$ts.
2
Not only the fincancial world, but capitalism in general is broken.
2
The vast majority of media are not on our sides. They'll frame it as a bad faith attempt of a jealous person to destroy a good business man living the American Dream.
1
@richardtheweaver : That would be funny, if it weren't so sad.
1
@rodrod959 "crony capitalism, which is actually closer to socialism and communism, than capitalism itself.": Lmao, no. This is complete nonsense. You just proved that you have no idea what socialism or communism even are. Under socialism and communism things like the example in the video could never even happen. Under communism there is no more money to rule people and under its earlier stage (socialism) the means of productions would be given to workers and there wouldn't be any company owners (who aren't the workers themselves), corporations or conglomerates to even get rich of such a scheme combined with tax evasion and (quasi) monopolies.

12:09 This guy is the smartest person being interviewed.
1
I'm also sick of the trillionaires and the families with quadrillions.
1
Is Blue Bottle supposed to be a competitor to Starbucks?
1
Well, neither can teachers, nurses, and so many others. Maybe one day enough people will realize we, the working class, are all being screwed over equally and there will finally be a workers revolution to end the cancerous parasite that is capitalism.
1
Best thing you can do is go fully independent from gas. Don't let yourself be a sl@ve to the interests of big corporations and the capitalist elite.
1
"f one of these private equity firms buys out the lot owner": They will. The owner can't run it forever.
1
@kmw8775 "The young man who's running it now it takes his parents' experience very much to heart.": No, trust us. It is going to happen. They will offer him as much money as they need to and if he sells it he will be set for life. Stay prepared, get ready and save up. Otherwise you'll end up in the same position as the first woman. Always remember: Under cápítàlì$m you don't own anything!
1
@trikstari7687 "it's not capitalism": Yes, it is. The longer capitalism runs its course, the more likely it is society ends up with monopolys. Gov't regulations have helped competitors since the 1990s, otherwise Amazon would have owned everything by the early 2000s. Also, the cost is rising while the wages aren't, which is exactly what Marx and other socialists predicted. The only reason workers have still got some power is due to unions, which are socialist structures. "It's post industrial Feudalism.": I agree. It's capitalism. Don't be afraid, just say the word. "government regulations prevent competitors from existing": Funny. I can't think of a single industry that doesn't hsve competitors. Again, it's the gov't preventing single private companies from owning everything in their industry. The gov't is also one of the biggest contractors giving deals to multiple companies. Just look at space flight and so many more industries.
1
Teachers, nurses and so many other working class people. The system is rigged against us, so we need to stand united. Otherwise we'll all lose to the owner class when they divide and conquer us.
1
Non profit = tax evasion.
1
There shouldn't be any private corporations to begin with.
1
Corporations run by the élítè and càpìtálí$m ruin everything.
1
America was only ever great for white, christian males. Everyone else has always been effed.
1
@mvpfocus The fact that Trump was elected 3 times by working cl@$$ people proves that the past 40 years of reformism didn't work. People want change for the better, not worse, and all those "helpful policies" do nothing but add to the debt, which is also being paid by workers and does nothing but increase both prices and inflation. If you truely understood how the câpitãli$t economy works, you would know that those measures are not even a bandaid anymore and both individuals and families are getting poorer and poorer every year. We are worse of than under feudalism, because at least under feudalism we were allowed to have houses and pieces of land that we could freely use to live in and feed ourselfs. Now most people on this planet can't even affort a roof over their heads and have to chose between food and heating. Listen to what the worlds best trader Gary Stevenson has to say. His YT channel is Gary Economics.
1
True, and neither does teaching, elderly care or really anything that falls under the category of social work...
1
@lowwastehighmainmelanin : Sry, but you don't deserve a wage just because you have kids. Childfree people only get a wage if we work, why should we pay for you to freeload?
1
More like we built houses with taxpayer money, then we sold them to private entities for cents and now those private owners want millions from the people who need the houses and who should have gotten the houses in the first place.
1
@NeoFryBoy Still, it's only with the help of chem engineers that companies are even able to make us sick with their carcinogenic food. It's not the managers, owners or CEOs that build the cR@p they want us to call 'food'.
1
Exactly. If all we do is tax oil companies, they'll just switch to another type of wealth.
1
That's what the 2A is for.
1
@mrnasty2757 They aren't competing with poverty, only the working class is.
1
No wonder the corporate overlords and the capitalist elite are trying to get rid of her in the next election. People better go out there and vote (blue).
1
@niclas3672 Exactly, @Niclas! People like this guy were brainwashed by American Exceptionalism and Red Scare propaganda of the mainstream media, but don't worry: If the American Capitalist system continues its course, it will soon be due for revolution.
1
I wish you were right, but Thiel got rich due to playing the game of life, unlike Musk who was born with a diamond spoon in his mouth and never worked a day in his life.
1
@matthew : No, it didn't. That's the same thing.
1
Yes, ultimately they are all scammers, but it's a lot harder to get rid of bankers than it is other criminals.
1
The society you invision isn't possible under câpîtálí$m.
1
Sry, I meant "can't"
1
"if we were proactive instead.": Unfortunately too many still believe the American Dream. They feel like they'll be on top some day, so they wanna break rules without consequences as well, but they can't if we are proactive.
1
It won't. AirBnB, much like other companues that are considered "too big to fail" get billions of subsidies from the gov't, paid for by taxpayer money.
1
@cfltheman : What difference does it make to you if those people have kids or not? It's their decision..
1
@nonya.bizness : Not all ill people are overweight / underweight, and most of the people who are, have some type of illness causing them to be this way.
1
@orbatos "Alaskans want to, but Republicans undercut these efforts constantly": Then maybe - just maybe - it's about time to stop voting for republicans...
