We are 1112 days into Putin's 3-day special military operation. We are 1129 hours into Trump's "Day one" peace deal.
581
To Russia: This is what a 3-day special military operation is supposed to look like.

If Russia could have defeated the rebels fully, then they would have done so a decade ago.
45
To be fair, a ceasefire would give Ukraine time to fortify the frontline and mobilize more soldiers. It is the same reason that Russia offered a ceasefire years back when the Ukrainians were advancing. If Trump actually wants the war to stop, then he needs to send Ukraine enough firepower to prevent Russia from advancing without sending enough weapons for Ukraine to launch a counter-offensive. Peace talks only really work when the frontlines stabilize.

@josephkush1032 Lukashenko and a dozen "experts" on Russian State Media said Kiev would fall in 2-4 days.
37
This is describing Tucker Carlson and Trump as manchurian candidates.
26
Syria Defense Forces are the Turkey proxies on the northern border, while the Syrian Democratic Forces are the Kurd led forces in the east. Patrick was correct.

MAGA 🫶 🇷🇺 Make Autocrats Great Again
18
Trump wants to rename the Gulf of Mexico. No one tell Trump about New Mexico.
18
It works sometimes. *Spain folded to Al Qaeda demands after an Al Qaeda attack *The IRA got concessions from the UK government *Mexican government officials are afraid to speak against the cartels
17
@asha-vahishta It's not the same. Look at how Iraq defeated ISIS. The organization and its idology aren't gone, but they aren't operating a competing government within the country's territory. Assad and Putin can't even force the opposition underground or into strongholds in a neighboring country.
16
Kursk is in Russia
15
Campaign Trump: No more wars President Trump: Let's invade Mexico, Panama, and Greenland.
15
@subjectc7505 It's an ice breaker in Cuba....
13
Did the US push for a ceasefire with ISIS in Mosal because there were unaffiliated Iraqi citizens in the city? Why is the IDF being held to a different standard, and why isn't Hamas in the same category as ISIS?
13
For 6 months, a no-fly zone

Trump, "suckers and losers"

@mattkelly9000 The US spends $800 billion every year on the Department of Defense, with the primary adversities being Iran, Russia, and China. For only 5% of the yearly budget, Russia's capability to threaten US strategic interests is heavily degrading. I see people thinking too much is spent on defense, but focusing on this line item is disingenuous.
9
@thenonameguy7756 Ukrainians show gratitude, while the Haitians and Latin America will blame America for every death caused by Haitian vs. Haitian violence if the US involved itself. America offered Canada, Mexico, and the OAS funds to lead a mission in Haiti, but they all refused. It is easy for them to criticize the US, but they refuse to step up themselves.
9
Here comes the Russian and MAGA trolls. I honestly can't tell the difference anymore.
9
Anyone else feeling apathy towards the same Russians who could care less about what their government does to Syrians and Ukrainians? How many concert go-ers do you think spoke up when Russian jets stuck Syrian hospitals or when Russian drones struck Ukrainian apartments?
8
The US has that in Jordan
8
Trump, too.
8
Ukraine didn't invade Russia. It is a special military operation.
7
Greece is still bitter at the EU and Germany for making them suffer the consequences of their actions.
7
How is this level of corruption not on the front page of every newspaper?
7
@belisarius2776 I didn't realize the IRA and Weather Underground were Muslims.
7
This isn't about tax or immigration policy. People feel backed into a corner that our democratic backsliding can't be reversed.
7
@MaxNO-bl6ix How many Russians have fled Russia during Putin's mobilization?
7
The hypocrisy from both sides is impressive
6
Has American or European intelligence confirmed the Israeli account yet? Otherwise, I'm holding judgment.

Connect 4, and he is eating the pieces.

MAGA and Russian bots sound the same Make Autocrats Great Again
5
Like the wall, Trump expects Mexico to fund NATO
5
After the last bait and switch, Russia has decided to fortify everywhere. They are even building defensive lines along the southern Crimea coastline - which is ridiculous as Ukraine doesn't even have a navy.
5
Good point. Why would they admit they lost. It's like Russia claiming they didn't lose when Assad left.
5
The valuation was bigger than some Fortune 500 companies. The scale of this corruption is unimaginable.
5
And then the Saudis started paying the Trump family ...
5
@loganwolfram4216 Your little brother got armymen for Christmas, and your little sister got a Barbie. We teach kids gender expectations and they stick.
4
Let me guess, Vlad. You think Russian mil bloggers are heroes
4
@JamesSmith-bo3po Russia actually said 10, while Westen generals said they thought it would be three days. However, it's a meme already. Considering it has been almost two years, I wouldn't nitpick over a 7 day difference.
4
@asanders7608 It's the type of equipment. Artillery will make a Russian advance difficult, while mine clearly equipment and other specialized is needed to advance.
4
@MOME914 In your warped view, the robbers and terrorists don't have any responsibility for using human shields. All accidental collateral damage can only be blamed on cops and soldiers.
3
Let's Go Brandon!
3
These Russian and MAGA trolls are becoming indistinguishable. It is probably because Gatez, MTG, and Tucker Carlson keep retweeting Russian bot accounts.
3
@subjectc7505 Do you not know where Cuba is?
3
Only Sith deal in absolutes
3
Nice try, Vlad
3
@alexisjuillard4816 You can fortify everywhere, but the quality overall lessens, and the result is resources wasted as defenses aren't concentrated where they are actually needed. For example, every man digging a trench in Southern Crimea is a man who could be digging a secondary trench in an actual avenue of attack. My main point is that Russia is now afraid to concentrate their defenses anywhere after being tricked last time. This too is a poor strategy.
3
Then why did the US give Russia a warning that is was going to happen?
