It also seemed like they all had nicer smart phones than me, and they all arrived to the store in a car. What Americans call "poor" is just below the medium income.

  47. Risk tolerance, discretionary spending, age, etc. should change your decisions. Frankly, not everyone should be investing at all. If your income is low, education could be a better investment, while people with high debt could be better off paying down debt first.
