@reasonablespeculation3893 According to March 2022 exchange rates, the average monthly pay in Africa is around 758 USD (US dollar). This is roughly ten times lower than typical incomes in the United States and the United Kingdom, which are 7,900 USD and 7,795 USD, respectively.

@Stettafire Both countries are struggling with food security

Russia's Slavic neighbors are choosing to side with the US, and China's entire coastline is surrounded by US allies. How has US Hegemony ended?
1
Considering how Trump and many Republicans idolize Putin, it wouldn't be unwise to invest in one's own national security.
1
US Hegemony after the Cold War has led to the most peaceful and economically prosperous time in world history. Other than Salafism and Irani proxies creating constant conflicts in the Middle East, every continent has seen significantly less war.
1
Because banks don't handle transactions, investing, and lending unless Asian manufacturing or African resource extraction is involved?
1
You are thinking of China's state banks
1
@florencebaendes2853 African and Asian markets are the ones struggling and asking the IMF (aka the West) to bail them out. Unfortunately, Chinese predatory lending is operating as a roadblock to that support.
1
Trump doesn't know the Heritage Foundation, Jean Carroll, or Stormy Daniels. We should believe the cult leader even when photos and witnesses say otherwise.
1
Iraq and Libya weren't at peace before US involvement. Saddam went to war with Iran, Kuwait, the Kurds, and Shiite militias. Meanwhile, Gaddafi was bombing his citizens before NATO jets shot down the war criminals. If you think Hezbollah and Iran are naturally peaceful instead of scared of the US aircraft carriers, then you are seriously brain damaged.
1
@weird-guy That doesn't even make sense. If it wasn't for ideological reasons, Israel would have been dumped as an ally in the 1940s. It has been America's economic interests to appease these Muslim countries as the populations are larger and their resources are important to the global economy.
1
People who held onto their homes from before 2008 are still better off.
1
American publicly listed companies tend to outperform the market, while the Chinese stock market has very poor performance compared to the national GDP. This is because state dominated companies dominate the Chinese stock markets and the CCP management value poltical objectives over economic growth. This poor performance doesn't encourage a lot of investment.

Their attention span only last 60 seconds.

@TonyTrupp Amendment 25?
1
Steel makers in China are state owned companies that can't lay people off to save cost, so the companies are inefficient and dependent on state subsidies. The Communists are pressuring state banks to give risky loans that aren't in the banks' interest to keep other state companies afloat. This is why state ownership of companies is problematic.
1
@haben79 I thought Boyle said millions in interest payments?
1
Trump caused economic chaos and a boycott of American goods for Canada and Mexico to agree to do what they were already doing since last year.
1
@Qwerty10254 Not so fast. The Modi government is willing to allow these scammers to operate. The police know where they are located, but bribes to the police allow them to continue to steal from elderly Americans undisturbed.
1
@josh09614 They buy these phone numbers from hackers on the dark web. If I use my phone number as an identifier for a loyalty program and they get hacked by Russian or Chinese denizens, then my phone number can be bought from these Indian scammers.
1
@yiyeungwong Both countries have corrupt governments that profit off of criminality. Chinese hackers steal American personal information to sell to English-speaking scammers in India.
1
@deka0014 Bull. No one is learning your language, and your people don't have enough money to be worth a scammers' time.
1
It had value for those who didn't understand basic accounting principles. I friends who grew up poor who didn't understand how rent was an expense, while a mortgage can build equity. His other books actually do more harm than good. His book on Network Marketing is used by scammers to get people stuck in pyramid schemes.
1
Chinese dumping and intellectual property theft have long-term consequences for the West that won't go away because of China's economic troubles.
1
Trump's understanding of economics is at a third grade level. When he listens to his advisors, things run smoothly, but as soon as his populists nonsense surfaces, we end up increasing the deficit or losing a trade war with China.
1
Tariffs only make sense as a way to punish countries for unfair tade policies such as Chinese dumping or currency manipulation, or they make sense for national security purposes such tarrifs that protect American defense industry from getting the best deal from hostile nations such as China steel. Countries like Mexico and Canada don't fit into these categories.
1
@aaronjjacques Mexico is going to start letting migrants caravans across Mexico again and give counter tarrifs. Basically, hurt economic growth across North America for a poltical goal that will fail.
1
@johnridout6540 Universal tarrifs are harmful for the economy because they disrupt global supply chains, while targeted tarrifs towards unfair trade practices such as dumping is good for the domestic industries. Also, if the sanctions are designed to punish, then there are sanctions that harm the exporter more than the importer. Just look at Trump's trade war with China. Trump basically surrendered with a deal that only benefited China as Trump's universal tarriffs on mostly consumer goods were paid for by Americans, while Chinese targeted tarrifs on American farmers lead to the Chinese consumers to buy from other markets.
1
@Lewd_Fox You obviously have very little understanding of supply chains, value adding industries, and American manufacturing. It is okay that low skilled workers in China make cheap parts and low skilled workers in India make cheap medical ingredients. The high-skilled, complex steps of the manufacturing process take place in America. This step adds the most value, creates the most profit, and demand the highest salaries.
1
@Lewd_Fox Also, the cheap gloves and over the counter medicines in India isn't where the money is. America companies make things like MRIs and advance prescriptions.
1
The US Military's primary goal isn't to wage. The goal is to outclass any rivals, so they fear picking a fight with the US or it's allies. Why do you think Russia has yet to invade the Baltic countries and why China has yet to attack any nation that has denied their nine dash line?
1
@tigerhawk667 Being a bad investor isn't criminal
1
@jamm8284 The US government is paying Apple to set up businesses in China? It is a stretch that the US government pays Apple a tax reduction for building an Apple store in the US, but calling that a subsidy to China is nonsensical.
1
@texasoilfields Brexit f***ed over more than the UK. Because of language and culture ties, the UK was the perfect link to the economies of North America and the EU. There really hasn't been a good substitute.
1
@bloom6081 The point of the book isn't instructions on to be rich. It uses antidotes to explain accounting principles to people with financial illiteracy. It is basic stuff for people who didn't come from money who don't understand that spending money on a nice car is a liability, while spending money on a crappy house builds equity.
1
MAGA isolationist are too short-sighted to see how harmful letting Russia, China, and Iran conquer our trade partners will be on the US economy.
1
New Strategy: Endorse Trump at the RNC and get a pardon. Or you can believe Amber Rose's crypto scams are unrelated.
1
@vinnys7514 "Half Donut" is what Boyle called "The Plain Bagel" during a Coffeezilla interview.
1
@tremarley9648 Coffeezilla says he is not a financial expert and he admits to outsourcing stuff outside of his wheelhouse during investigations.
1
MAGA voted for a felon who brags about not paying taxes. The issue with immigration is a racial issue using fake concerns about rule of law and taxes to hide their dog whistles.
1
Russia has a smaller economy than several US states. NATO doesn't even have to increase their budget by a large percentage to outclass Russia's struggling economy.
1
@samsonsoturian6013 Stop pretending like Russia isn't poor when 20% of the population doesn't have access to a toilet with indoor plumbing.
1
@samsonsoturian6013 Canada, Nordic countries, and Iceland all have indoor plumbing. Only Russia let's their people live like medieval serfs and Putin as his fellow oligarchs steal the nation's wealth.
1
Sanctions are easier
1
@excalibro8365 Bringing up a century old grievances makes you seem like a clown. Since the creation of the EU, what European country (besides Russia) has tried to colonize anyone?
1
@dragosmihai1001 You probably still believe MTG when she says Democrats control the weather
1
Trump didn't read any bills he signed. Does that mean he has no responsibility for the bills his people make on his behalf?
1
@ItalianJew It's time-consuming. For Walmart, the accountant calls a store, and a bookkeeper gives the information. In the military, you will have to give your commanding officer contact another commanding officer to have the employee share the information. Meanwhile, the branches have different accounting standards, and they have digitized records at different rates. The audits get more accurate the further away the military gets from when they keep physical instead of digital documents. Honestly, social security and medical fraud are much bigger issues.
1
@mamaw4732 Can you honestly tell me that cutting most income taxes can result in a functioning government by 20%-60% tariffs?
1
I wouldn't call Coffeezilla a financial YouTuber. How Money Works is a better fit.
