David Tao China's economy grew through free market reform, a large population, and intellectual property theft. Also, the GDP growth numbers shared with the world are false numbers created by corrupt CCP officials. China is backtracking by putting more of the economy in the hands of state owned enterprises. These state companies are inefficient and only stay afloat through debt trap diplomacy, intellectual property theft, and subsidies paid for by the more successful public economy. The Chinese economist know what will be best for the economy. However, they have been making decisions that will hurt economic growth in exchange for more power in the party's hands.
1
David Tao I stand by my point about the lack of transparency, government interference, and poor rule of law make investing in the Chinese stock market very risky -- especially considering that companies allowed on the Chinese stock exchanges tend to perform poorly compared to the rest of the Chinese economy.
1
David Tao Good luck. I hope it turns out well for you.
1
Maybe. Sometimes China and Russia would prefer democracies with crony capitalist than with authoritarians who fear power grabs from their bigger neighbors.
1
You clearly don't know what "literally" means.
1
@neilnelson7603 America has funded Iraq longer, and we actually like the Ukrainians. The EU also has economic interests in helping their biggest neighbor.
1
@neilnelson7603 Biden abandoned Afghanistan to the Taliban, and the world forgot about in a week. We fund Iraq because it's in our strategic interests. With Ukraine being on the doorstep of the EU, it will always be in the Wesr's strategic interest to support Ukraine.
1
@ncheedxx0109 If there was only a time in history where a failing war resulted in a Russian revolution.
1
Because of all the freeloaders who don't pay into the system, but still get treatment.
1
@256shadesofgrey Ukrainian territory is the UN recognized territory according to multiple Russian treaties.
1
@256shadesofgrey There are hundreds of millions of dollars in frozen accounts of Russian money across Western banks.

You have a strange definition of "fun".
1
a real bobby dazzler It's not that easy. The Saudis spent billions on American planes and they can't just switch over to Russia and China for maintenance parts. Just look at Iran's grounded air force of broken American planes after the Irani revolution.
1
@Elivinu Try again for what?
1
Iraqi bigotry and intolerance can only be blamed on bigoted, intolerant Iraqis.
1
@mrbad3036 Trump could sabotage a NATO Article V response to protect the Baltic countries from a Russian attack.
1
@Petro Petrovich They imposed Marxs' violent revolution and the elimination of private ownership.

Antisemites blame the Jews for everything
1
Serbia is a joke of an country, and Turkey will not submit to be in Russia's sphere of influence as Erodgan has his own ambitious of regional hegemony.
1
California is the king of wasting taxpayer money.
1
@victor9 America sees less of a need for trains, because most of country is rich enough to owns cars. In fact, there are 1.88 cars/household with 24% households owning 3 or more.
1
I disagree with your choice, but I respect you for being open minded enough to watch a video critical of the candidate you support. Not many Trump or Biden supporters are open minded enough to do that.
1
Drug cartels may be burning people alive in oil drums, but at least you get your high.
1
@andreimoutchkine5163 Nonsense. Parliament impeached the Yanukovich after he order security forces to murder protesters. In addition, there has been a whole new election with different candidates running since the events of 2014. Use some common sense.
1
@andreimoutchkine5163 It is hysterical to read a Russian care about rule of law when their country is a kleptocracy who commits war crimes on civilians. Obviously, Ukraine couldn't run an a fair election in the Dombas or Crimea as they were occupied by Russian troops.
1
@andreimoutchkine5163 Not a kleptocracy? They aren't even hiding it. Just look at the value of the watches of that Putin and his allies wear on national TV. How do you think they can afford watches worth hundreds of thousands of dollars on a government salary. Even your own generals admit they are committing war crimes by bragging about attack Ukrainian energy infrastructure before winter. The Nazi stuff is beyond stupid. The Ukraine president is a Jew how lost much of his family during the Holocaust. Again, just try a little bit of critical thinking.
1
Sounds like the Bolivarian Revolution that lead to the collapse of Venezuela.
1
@Proud SwCC Supporter Because Venezuela is thriving under the new economic system?
1
It doesn't matter where you source your oil, Saudi Arabia controls the price.
1
Luckily if this turns into a Syrian style war, there won't be outside interference of Russia or Sunni fundamentalists.
1
Legalize and tax all guns too.

@josewpmarytr China's hold on the world market is due to their large population size. Vietnam will never have 20% of the world's population. An India that keeps straying away from democratic values is more concerning.
1
@Deebil The instability of China as an economic partner is a recent phenomenon caused by President Pooh. To pretend like it was a consideration over the last few decades is disingenuous. Smart companies have gotten around IP issues by keeping the complex parts of the supply chain outside of China. The choice isn't whether to invest in China as many businesses are already established there. It is more of a choice of spending more to start over somewhere else or recognize the sunk cost and stick with China.
1
@dancerinmaya6813 To be fair, most investors enter the Chinese market in good faith, but the Chinese just steal from their investors.
1
Erodgan met the low expectations.
1
@NexxtTimeDontMiss If Ukraine is having difficulty breaking through the defensive lines on land, then how do you think they are going to do an amphibious assault on fortified positions in Crimea without amphibious military equipment?
1
@jjoohhhnn The F-16 will challenge Russian air supremacy, but people are acting like they are super weapons like the F-22 or F-35. Russian air defenses were designed to take out F-16s back in the cold war, so you won't be seeing the close air support that Americans enjoyed in Iraq. America wouldn't be sending cluster munitions if they weren't desperate to fulfill the rate of fire from Ukrainian artillery. While it is good strategic thinking to degrade Russian forces, voters west of Poland don't see that as good enough reason to spend that kind of money for an extended war.
1
Biden ran on a mandate of normalcy and moderation, but as soon as he was in office, Biden tried to push some very left-wing policies on a majority conservative country.
1
That sounds like Dallas, but Texas is booming.
1
@ch36799 For now. However, Poland is taking the same steps as Erdogan and Putin to remove the opposition and eliminate checks on power.
1
One week later. North Korea is sending soldiers to Ukraine
1
Political tool for who? For what purpose?
1
Pick up a economic book and read the chapter on monetary policy, because clearly you don't know anything about inflation.
1
@bastisonnenkind Except the price of food, labor, and housing are also going up.
1
Not really. The Trump wing of the Republican party loves Orban, because they would love to copy his policies that crack down on opposition media, keep out non-whites of the country, and oppress gays.
1
I don't know. The belt and road program is pretty mismanaged already.
1
Capitalism can't function properly without rule of law. In Russia, regulation, corruption, and the legal system discourage entrepreneurship, so the President's oligarch friends don't lose any of their market share. There is a reason that former Soviet countries that followed the EU guidelines on independent judges and fighting corruption are in better shape than the Russia economically.
1
"What's best for their people" 🤣🤣🤣 Serbian politicians like to find scapegoats to distract the voters from their corruption and economic mismanagement.
