Zak now lives in Newfoundland, breanna is residing in orillia with her 2 daughters and boyfriend, Alex is currently dieing with stage 4 cancer and has multiple cancers, kaitlynn now lives northern Ontario our brother Richard (Dickie) lives in orillia, he came north to help take care of our brother, and I do live in northern Ontario with my husband and 2 kids, our mother lives also northern Ontario, she goes by the name Kayt Bowers on social media now. Iā€™m also now a ā€œBowersā€ because I married my mothers hubby Son

  14. Ā @GirlsNDragonsĀ  yes we're in better place now.. we're all in our 30's.. my mom has moved on. Richard and Breanna live in southern Ontario still. Zak lives in Newfoundland, I live in northern Ontario my mom does too.. as for Kait she's sorta in between I think I haven't really spoken with her recently.

  17. No one did pay for us, my mother wasnā€™t on welfare or any assistance.. she only had her baby bonus Now weā€™re all older and appreciative for what my mother did

Ā @jennita1234Ā  my mom never did want to split us up, reason we never lived with our nana is because she was living in a smaller apartment she couldnā€™t take on the 8 of us at the time with her hubby too. In the time the documentary was made she was actually living in the basement apartment of my uncles place in the movie.

  38. I can happily say it hasnā€™t continued into my adult life! I have a beautiful family, with 2 beautiful children, and a home to call ours! Weā€™re all in our 30s now. Thank youā˜ŗļø

Ā @RegulatorsmountupĀ  the motivational speaker is my sister Kait, different last names because the time of the movie we were with my mothers last name, we come from different fathers so my mom wanted all us to have the same last name meanwhile we donā€™t do as we grew up we took back our maiden names, mine is the only one changed ā€œEllen Bowersā€ now because Iā€™m the only one who married out of all the children. But Kavanagh was some of our maiden names
