She's a sound sleeper. I can't sleep for more than a brief period on a plane, no matter what class of seats.

Boyfriend and girlfriend take a cross-country trip in a van. The boyfriend returns home without girlfriend. Didn't it occur to him that something was missing? Were there no calls from him to authorities/friends/relatives/her parents that he couldn't find his girlfriend? More than suspicious. If I was in a national park and someone I was with went missing, the first thing I would do is call the park rangers, and not just drive home like nothing happened. I would think the first question the police asked him is when and where he last saw her. Of course, if he knows something bad happened, he'll probably give a misleading answer. There's a lot of everything between Wyoming and Florida, so where do you even start searching?

How did they "just happen" to break into a house that has high powered weapons and ammo just laying around/not secured, with these kids "just happening" to know how to use them? I would like to know about the owners of that house. Did the kids know them and that they had loaded weapons readily available for the taking?

I think he was worth much more than $2 million, unless all his previous wives were draining his finances.

I haven't been there in a while, but the hotels/casinos get awfully crowded as the day progresses. I virus petri dish.

If the video didn't come out or didn't exist, nothing would have been done. The police would just say "good job." That's justice in the U.S.
34
I have no problem telling people my salary, but there's no reason for all of us to cry about it. I wouldn't, though, post videos bragging about what I make. That's in poor taste.
32
What's the responsibility of Topgolf, for serving customers drinks when they're beyond drunk? In this case, Ruggs was tested to be twice over the legal limit.
27
"The nearly "40 ton vessel" (0:25) is much, much, more than that, unless you're weighing the ship on an asteroid.
26
People drive the same speed when it's sunny, snowy, icy, foggy, and so on. Slow down.

He'll probably die once moved out to the wilderness, far from any homes, anyway. He obviously lost and doesn't have the ability to hunt for food the way bears normally do. He's now used to just busting into homes to find food that way. He's been on a junk food bear diet, and that's why he's fat. He's doomed either way.

It's not the first time a Tesla has crashed into a fire truck. The self driving feature is paying attention to stuff it can see, but may not anticipate what's in front of the car in front of you. If the driver in front swerves to avoid a stopped fire truck or another car on a freeway, then in a split second there's a car stopped right in front of you that the Tesla will ram into at high speed. You might be dead.
21
It's happened many times before. Also, all three contestants having no money has happened, requiring three new contestants for the next show.

That doesn't look like the truck was driving "on just its rim." The whole wheel popped off. A co-worker of mine had that happen to him after getting his car serviced at a Sears Auto Center. They didn't screw back on the wheel properly. The car ended up flipping on its side after leaving Sears. He ended up with injuries along with the car being totaled. He sued Sears for negligence and won. "The truck kept driving" is also wrong in this video. People drive trucks. That truck wasn't driving itself.

The only tip I learned, is if you're hot and have a television crew following you, you get an upgrade. So what about the rest of us (the other 99.9999%)? About that Hilton "upgrade." A couple years ago I stayed at a Hilton in San Francisco. They offered me a "free" upgrade when I checked in. I couldn't say no to that. On the morning I left, they slipped a note/bill under the door showing my charges. They charged me an extra $125 a night for the room because I "upgraded." I called the front desk saying I didn't authorize any extra charge. They called me back a short time later saying I signed for the upgrade. I insisted I did not, saying again the front desk said it was a free upgrade, and show me something saying I signed for the extra charge (I'm careful in what I sign). They finally gave in and reversed the charges.

There's no law that says Shingles can't affect younger people. There's a few Shingles vaccines (like Shingrix) out there, but the recommendation is for people 50 and over. I don't think there's been much, if any testing, of the vaccine for younger individuals.

Of course, re-entering the course at Hollywood and Highland, one of the most filmed and tourist crowded intersections in Los Angeles, is hardly the best way to cheat. :/
14
He's just there to get attention. Maybe a YouTuber friend was there assisting him. I doubt he knows anyone connected to the trial. I'm also wondering if that was really his Maserati. That said, if he started swinging around his AR-15, and a commotion started where people got shot, we'll have Trial 2.0 in no time.

"They are working with local authorities." In the middle of the ocean? Are they consulting with the sharks? You don't just slip on a wet deck and fly overboard. Probably drinking.
11
Did the reserve parachute also fail, or did the skydiving school think that was just an unnecessary expense?
11
That's for sure. A bear doesn't get that fat from finding food the ways bears normally eat. He's developed a taste for stuff like leftover KFC from people's houses. If he's dragged back out to the wilderness, far from homes, he won't live for very long in such poor shape. He's probably old too.
11
It must have not been an emergency. If it was, the ambulance company wouldn't let a bunch of friends carrying snacks onto the ambulance with the patient, like this is some sort of passenger van. Not going to happen. Then the people on the ambulance have time to do all this filming, including sticking the camera out the window to show the dog running. I have a feeling this whole thing was staged, but of course, Inside Edition doesn't care as long as they get views.

Jumping into the dugout is dumb advice. What he just did is tell everyone to do that. 20,000 people aren't going to fit in the dugout. Whoever does make it there will just be sitting ducks, as they're all packed into one space. If you want to make it easy for the shooter, you just did. Just run.
7
There's no such thing as "innocent because of insanity." Study up.
7
Repeat: It's impossible to open the outside doors mid-flight. Air pressure pressed against the doors prevent that. If they were possible to open, there would be a lot of plane crashes from suicidal passengers opening them.
7
@brittoncarlile2786 The video says the kids found an AK-47. OK, it isn't more high-powered than machine gun, but certainly more highly powered than a pistol.
7
The lettuce obviously wasn't just sold to Wendy's. One place I avoid eating at is California Chicken Cafe. I've gotten sick several times. What was coming out of my rear made the Mississippi River seem like a creek, in comparison. Whether it's the chicken, lettuce, or poor food handling at their restaurants, I'm not sure of. Now, I just don't want to take the risk.
7
I don't think that's the best job ever. Bruised legs, broken bones, sprained ankles, falling in the water, etc., will eventually happen. Not for me. I doubt the USPS would allow this for their employees.
7
It's the mom's fault. Cruise ships warn you and warn you again that if you miss the boat, it's your problem, not theirs. They tell you something like, "There is nothing as beautiful as watching a Carnival cruise ship cruise into the sunset (without you)." The passenger(s) will need to figure out on their own how to get to the next port stop.
6
How does Inside Edition know the bear weighs exactly 500 pounds? Did they send a crew to Lake Tahoe with a scale and ask Hank the Tank to weigh himself?
6
I'll top your bid at $1.60, but I can't go higher.
6
If he didn't do it, how did she end up in the San Francisco Bay, at the same time he took his boat there to "go fishing?"
5
Really? Saying it saved the man's life is a far stretch. Does everyone who gets hit by a foul ball die? It looks like if the ball didn't hit the can it would have hit his arm. I doubt that would have killed him.
5
Losing that beer ration card must have been traumatic. He must have had to go thirsty for the remainder of his tour of duty in Antarctica. Can he still use it to get what brewskis he still has left? ;)
5
Well, Albert Einstein never grew out of it. I've always thought why his hair was so messy was because Einstein was so busy working on his physics experiments, that he had no time to futz with his hair.
5
Nobody lives there. Who will trash it? It's in the middle of the Aleutian Islands. Unless it's town down, the building will just decay like the rest.
5
The statute of limitations has long passed, plus there weren't any records to ever research this stuff. He didn't pay the inflation-adjusted amount, so he/she didn't feel that guilty.
5
Actually he managed to divert the ocean tides while landing on the beaches at Normandy, to put out your house fire. This made the Normandy Invasion easier (less tall waves to deal with), and helped out the world's fire departments at the same time. He's truly amazing.
5
United has dress codes for all their employees (ticket agents, flight attendants, pilots, etc.). Just because she's a pilot doesn't mean she can come to work like she's doing gardening in her backyard. Something was wrong with her. I can see why she's getting divorced. Her poor husband.
5
Unfortunately, the FBI can only offer a fraction of her current salary. She'll keep her day job.
5
It must have been a slow day at Inside Edition. This has been written about a zillion times. There's a whole TV show that explains this.
5
If this woman "didn't know she was pregnant," how does anyone know, including Inside Edition, know the baby was 11 weeks premature?????
4
I did the same calculation. It works out to 62.5 cents per hour. That's literally an incentive not to work there.
4
The driver obviously saw there was no shoulder for her to safely pull over, and instead turns on her flasher and slows down in search of a safe place to pull over. Arrogant cop then makes her lose control. She wasn't fleeing. Cop should be terminated and city ordered to pay her big time.
4
@ainmelypse279 Yes.
4
Did the ski patrol really fail her? They did the best they could. It's hard to judge exactly where a person may fall. Maybe having a bigger net available would have helped, but I wouldn't blame anyone trying to help. I hope she recovers.
4
The pros should be adopting her putting style.
4
@BlueSky-kh8ue Nope. If that was so easy to do, planes would be crashing left and right from suicidal passengers opening the doors at 38,000 feet.
4
There's the issue of special assessments to condo owners to fix this mess. The collapsed condo owners were just about to be charged about $100,000 each for repairs. Such huge assessments caused repairs to be delayed, as all involved weren't eager to scrape up money to pay this big expense. To pay that, I'm assuming many needed to take out another mortgage. Owners either have to pay for this, or sell the unit, and probably for $100,000 less, as the next owner would be on the hook.
4
I don't see the proof. If they can't find the weather balloon, which I assume he fired the weapon and then the balloon carried the gun off into the air after he lost his grip since he was dead (that then probably dumped it into the ocean), how can they prove anything? Until then, it's all speculation.
