It's theft, plain and simple. The church doesn't have a leg to stand on. If they want to write their own play, then do it, but they can't take a Broadway musical, change a few words, and then produce a play from it. If that was the case, I can open a fast food restaurant by the name of "McDonald's" and sell whatever I want. Does the church think, just because they're a church, doesn't have to buy rights to use materials that even a play being performed at a junior high school must do?

You're probably right. Things would short out quick, maybe in seconds. Maybe an update to Tesla models would be if the car sensed it was floating, all windows would immediately open on their own.
3
Will he make it to the big 200?
3
So when you're 14, you need your parent's permission to take the car. At 14, can you even have a drivers license?
3
I had the same thought. The guy only had his arms and legs to thrash about, which the TSA lets you keep.
3
The "travel expert" also forgot that cargo is also a reason airlines keep flying near empty planes. There's also nothing new here. Click bait.

I don't think it was her twerking, but it's company policy on what employees can post on social media while at work. If she really wanted to post it she could have forwarded it to the airline's public affairs or compliance department and asked if it was OK to post. They would have said no, and that would be the end of it. If she was twerking at the hotel between flights and not in uniform, she wouldn't have been terminated. Anyway, that dance is hardly some sort of exotic move, but what am I to know. Maybe Alaska Airlines will let her apply back in six months. She has the training and experience, so if another airline needs flight attendants, they should sign her up.

Haven't these people made a reservation in advance? Just showing up at the counter at an airport is a crapshoot. Anyway, there's public transportation in addition to taxis, Uber and hitchhiking. I normally don't rent when traveling. There's subways, buses, airport shuttle services and so on. Everybody doesn't need their own car. Parking a rental car, or any car, in many cities is often difficult and expensive. I prefer to avoid that.

This has happened before elsewhere. If someone drops their money and you pick it up, what is the crime?
3
Pa-leeze. The woman claims she didn't know she was pregnant. If that's the case, nobody knew she was pregnant, so how in the heck do the come up with the statistic that the baby is exactly 11 weeks premature?

Maybe the bulb was designed for 220 volts, but has been running dimmed on half that voltage. The fire department probably bought a bulb designed for another country's standard voltage. If they still have a receipt, they should return it for the right light bulb. Anyway, I wish I would get anywhere near the service life that is printed on the package for LED and florescent bulbs. They don't last that long, even though they cost several times more than incandescent bulbs.
3
What's the range of one of those things, before they need a recharge? Less than a mile?
3
It's basically impossible to open a locked cockpit door from the outside unless you have high-powered explosives (which would bring down the plane anyway). If it was so easy, Germanwings Flight 9525 wouldn't have crashed when a suicidal co-pilot locked the pilot out of the cockpit. The couple may have helped subdue the man, but they didn't stop the man from getting into the cockpit. Why do news shows say stuff like this?
3
I wonder how fast he was going? 100 mph on a city street? What's the penalty? Of course, the driver is a minor, so he'll probably get off easy with his parents footing the bill. I'm also wondering about the prognosis of the Lambo driver. There's a report about brain damage after being in ICU for quite a while.

The TJ Maxx is in Granada Hills, CA. I recognize the place.
2
The LAPD doesn't know what caused the explosion? It was the fireworks that were unstable. This isn't rocket science.

I played the flute in school. The school loaned me the musical instrument. That flute was probably worth $22, not $22,000. Maybe that's why I was so bad playing it. :/
2
This is becoming common.
2
If they don't, lawyers will have a field day bringing up negligence. Whether it's Wendy's, Burger King, McDonald's, or another joint, they'll all do the same.
2
I deal with it. It's usually something where you can't pinpoint a cause, aside that it can develop as you age. I wasn't some sort of rock concert goer or someone who would expose themself to loud noises (like working construction, sandblasting, etc.). Depending on how bad it is, I can definitely see how someone could be driven to suicide. It's not something to joke about.
2
Guy loses wallet, another guy finds it and uses credit cards. This is news?
2
Inside Edition dopey comment of the day (at 0:44) : "Officials say the 100 ton vessel was able to successfully withstand the explosion." I can assure you, an aircraft carrier weighs more than 100 tons. They're more like 100,000 tons. Just a "slight" error. ;)
2
@abirulez97 She probably didn't know. If she did, do you think she would have thought something might be in the oven, or she should at least see the doctor?
2
He had his finger on the trigger. All this struggling, that the officer instigated, and yes, the gun could have gone off right through his head.
2
Bad news for the fish. I wonder when will come the time when there's no fish left to catch.
2
Make sure you pitch that tent a good distance from any condos.
2
Typical politician.
2
"Woman gives birth." Does it ever happen differently? Wake me up when a man gives birth.
2
Clickbait.
2
Sabrina could have used some of her witch stuff to fix things.
2
Of course it's dangerous if you're going to hike on a mountain with snow, ice, wind, and the like. Come back another time.
2
I didn't hear "why he livestreamed," but does it matter? He just happened to be there. The same as if a television news reporter and crew just happened to be there when something happens. You start your camera and go live.
2
I'm surprised they didn't take a tour/trip to Alcatraz while in San Francisco, to cap things off.
2
It looks like a hollow thing made of plywood with sheet metal screwed to it. It wasn't put there by space aliens, unless they do their shopping at Home Depot. :/
2
It might have included Mrs. Chauvin's money in that amount. She's a realtor. Derek Chauvin's $421,000 looks like it will be eaten up by legal fees. George Floyd's family settled with the city of Minneapolis for $27 million, so this is pocket change in comparison. Whether the family goes after assets here, is hard to say, but it's probably less likely.
2
Some of the passengers' goals look to be to get a full refund plus $10,000 for pain and suffering. Then they'll all be happy.
2
So how did she disappear from the photo? Digital cameras don't Photoshop things by themselves. It takes some software skills in an image editing program to do that. It's no accident or mistake. The school should cover the costs of printing new yearbooks.
2
I wonder how many years it would take a pizza delivery driver to make $235K. I need to make a note to myself when I retire. Take a pizza delivery job, and when I'm taking a load of pizza to a house that I'm sure has a Ring camera, fall down on the porch. Hopefully the homeowner uploads the video to YouTube, Facebook, and the like and the same happens. An economic cushion to my retirement accounts. ;)
2
Loyalty should be rewarded, but I doubt the corporate bigshots at McDonald's Headquarters will be giving her a restaurant as a retirement gift. If McDonald's has an employee stock purchase plan, and she has been contributing to it since 1970, she should be filthy rich. The split adjusted price of the stock in 1970 is something like 17 cents. It's now close to $300.
2
I don't know about space aliens in any government lab, but there sure was one in the White House for the past four years.
2
Wouldn't throwing spike strips at an out-of-control car going 100 mph, compound the problem? Blown tires at a high rate of speed I'm thinking could cause the car to really go out of control, flipping over, and worse.
2
Those tiny dogs make themselves the center of attention. It makes up for their small size.
2
If this happened in California, there would be a thousand comments about how liberals can't control things. Totally predictable.
2
I hope Inside Edition gives the money they earned from this click-bait to the UPS driver, which is basically recycled news seen elsewhere about the heat, than pocketing it for themselves. As far as air conditioning for trucks, I don't buy the UPS excuse. The trucks should all be equipped with an air conditioning system that at least blows cold air onto the UPS driver. Maybe include a small camper type refrigerator in the trucks stocked with cold drinks, as there's no need to keep all the packages in the truck cool. I'm sure the trucks all have heat. They don't make UPS drivers freeze to death in the northern states and Canada during the winter. At least I hope not.
2
Wouldn't it be easier to take an airplane?
2
She's lucky to be alive. I'm guessing she went out midnight swimming alone. If she wasn't found, she might never be, and just end up being fish food. Her friends would end up wondering whatever happened to her.
2
The SUV was being tracked by a helicopter. Did the police have to have a high speed chase that smashes who knows how many other cars and injures others?
2
There's plenty of stupid to go around. It's not rocket science that wooden patio decks can't hold an unlimited amount of weight.
2
It sounds like the guy just wanted to make a YouTube video to document how he was "accidentally" locked in. He is a knucklehead. He could have easily called 911 or found an exit door. Instead he starts to make videos and posting things.
2
I don't think the DMV should have accepted that as payment, but that's just me.
