Another Karen. It's obvious she wasn't behaving, refused to wear a mask, plus called the employees something nasty. She better get used to driving.

That's why there are two pilots. If both pilots fell ill at the same time with nobody else on the plane having pilot skills, that's when you have a big problem. In several movies though, a passenger who stayed at the Holiday Inn Express last night did safely land the plane.

If it only happened one time then maybe it's nothing, but two times within a relatively short period of time, then there's something obviously wrong. You don't need to be a doctor to determine this isn't normal.

Good for Disney. They should close up the entire resort area and move that out too. Other companies should do the same. Florida doesn't want businesses there, so why should they stay?

Only 5 of the 33 seniors meet the requirements to graduate. That's 15%. Is high school now that hard? Good work Texas!

I've lived in Southern California nearly all my life, but I have never had an inclination to drive out there during the summer. I guess there's something wrong with me. :/

I seem remember similar stories where someone lead their parents to believe he or she has been attending college, but weren't, and when it comes time to graduate it's time to do something desperate. There's one instance where a dropout called in a bomb threat in hopes of cancelling the college's graduation ceremony. But whatever they do only slightly delays their years long story from unraveling.

I'm impressed that NBC News dispatches staff to Dallas to report on a boat sinking in the Bahamas. They're on the ball.

I'm looking forward to the Pac-1. If I was able to play for the Pac-1, we would have the conference championship in the bag every year! We're number 1! We're number 1!

I always thought LinkedIn was mainly to develop employment and professional contacts, and not a place to find "investment advice." Actually, LinkedIn is hardly the most secure platform. I had to change my LinkedIn password a long time ago because hackers got a ton of them from the platform, but I still get emails from scammers trying to extort money from me because they know my old password.

Ron DeSantis will blame it on wokeness.

This Dollar General location looks like they were told way in advance that NBC News was coming so they can make that store the neatest, cleanest and most well stocked store in the country with unusually good merchandise. Look at the shelves (0:46). That's how a store looks in a television commercial. Every shelf and item neat and filled to the brim. Nothing out of place. I don't see any customers aside from people interviewed for this news video. The store looks closed. NBC News has lost credibility with me. Show a Dollar General on a Saturday once shoppers and their kids are unleashed on the place, not this Dollar General propaganda video that North Korea would be proud of. I'm no fan of these places. I've gone into dollar stores and found the experience more like a garage sale. The quality is usually lower, the product sizes are smaller with stores usually messy. What's the point buying a $1 package of toilet paper, where each of the four rolls just have enough paper for one dump? I'll stick to going to places like Vons and Target. If I go to a dollar store, I'll find it's mostly crap, and just end up doing another trip down the street to a regular store. One trip where I know I'll get what I want is better than two trips.

If they made it 10 minutes long, that would be better.

Considering 7-Elevens are mostly franchises, that would be hard to enforce. Even if 7-Eleven came out with a policy stating that franchises must inspect card readers daily, how do you enforce it? Would they terminate a franchise if they missed an inspection? Not likely, plus how would you prove it?
15
I filled out the form, but these class actions are usually disappointing at the end. I'm expecting $5 years from now deposited in my PayPal. :(

Read about 1973. Parents were concerned with their kids going and starting school when it was still dark outside. The farther north you go, the later the sun comes up. The same thing will happen this time around. Kids still start school at the same time. I would be happy if standard time was year round. I live in a warmer area of the country. If the sun goes down earlier, it's easier to go to sleep (it's darker and several degrees cooler). Better for your health.

If I'm late for work and going 100 mph, my butt would be in jail. I guess jail isn't for cops.
14
If you start building something, you got to finish it. Those buildings have been sitting unfinished for years. Get back to work.
11
The text messages are odd. How would she know that someone who is following her is trying to steal her identity? If she was in trouble, why not call 911 than send texts back home.
10
I agree endless shrimp was nonsense. Why did all the news organizations keep reporting that crap?
10
I live in Southern California, but I'll never drive out there during the summer. If that thermometer at the visitor center is the tourist attraction, with a little Photoshop I can increase the temperature to 999F/99C and paste a picture of me next to it. Much safer. :)

Over 99% of bags arrive on time and their correct destination? That's certainly not the case with my bags. On my last 10 flights, three times my bags didn't arrive. I've flown from LAX to Reykjavik Iceland. My bag ends up in Toronto. Another time I went from LAX to Edinburgh Scotland. May bag is sent to Las Vegas. Another time from LAX to Chicago, my bag stays at LAX. This wasn't from me checking in late. I allow plenty of time, but my bags go their own way.

There's one thing Kayliegh McEnany is 100% correct about, and that is one day COVID-19 will go away. That will probably be once everybody is deceased. :/
10
For that escape attempt, I think the cow should get a pardon from becoming a Big Mac.
9
Agree. Speed limits on major roads in cities are often 45, but it might be 40 on that street. She wasn't going just 5 mph over the limit. I would say at least double. Maybe 100.
8
Are 14 year old kids in South Carolina allowed to go around town carrying guns?
8
I guess POTUS is promoting wasting energy and water. Anyway, where are people flushing the toilet 10 - 15 times after taking a dump? If their turds are that big, they need to see a doctor ASAP. It's not the plumbing.
7
It's a useless company. You're better off saving what you would make to payments to them and use that to pay for repairs themselves. Replacing a central home A/C unit is something like $6,000. Of course they're not going to replace it.
7
That's for sure. It's like he used Angie's List to find someone to pick up the bodies.
7
Remember The Station nightclub fire in Rhode Island in 2003? Pyrotechnics were also set off there, setting the building on fire and killing 100 people. History repeats itself.
7
WiFi calling did not work. WiFi calls still have to connect to the AT&T network, and that was dead. As far as SOS mode, it's the same thing. Your phone needs to connect to a working cell network to call 911. If everything is down, your phone can't magically make 911 calls.
7
In Japan, it's even more intense. Watch some videos. It's not only long hours, but commutes on crowded trains to get to work, and more required things to do after work, and don't think about leaving work early unless you're deceased. They get home late only to need to wake up five hours later to repeat this again. I would have perished long ago if I had to do the same.
7
Those were the days, even though battery life on the brick phones was short and they were analog, allowing anyone with a scanner capable of the 800 MHz band to listen to at least parts of conversations.
7
The Twinkie defense. After he got out, he eventually committed suicide. If he got the death penalty, it would probably have taken longer.
7
The sales process is long enough trying to get rid of these add on junk fees. Customers are often worn down with this stuff until they give up and buy something they don't want and don't need. NADA just wants to continue the same crap, because this is where they make money. Anyway, I doubt anything will change. Dealers will find a way around this.
6
See you later alligator... 20 years later. With the price of eggs I can understand why the volunteer took one, but he waited a bit to long to make an alligator omelet. But really, who would want to keep something like that as a pet for 20 years? That's not Fluffy the cat.
6
I wouldn't stay out in such cold temperatures for three+ hours (it's longer when you including the times before and after the game), even if you paid me what the football players made. It's not worth it. Watching the game on TV suited me fine. I still have all my fingers to type this, and toes to keep me from falling down.
6
If only a high school diploma meant something. When I graduated high school there were some students who couldn't even tie their shoe but graduated. Maybe if this was different I would say it's OK for some to stop their education after 12th grade. But in reality, a serious education doesn't start in high school.
6
I don't live in Anchorage, but have seen homeless encampments when I've been there. The weather today (Friday) can be deadly if they don't get inside.
6
Most stuff on YouTube is fake. Maybe it's time to bring down the whole site.
6
And less than zero seconds to deploy a back-up chute. What he did is close to suicidal.
6
If she was murdered in 1969, I doubt the murderer is still around. The police would obviously start with employees at the bar and club. With neither still being around, I'm not sure of what record trail there is.
6
I'm wondering about that too. Did the park ranger realize if your car breaks down the air conditioner won't be working. Maybe if you have a flat, but if the motor isn't running the same with the AC, except if it's electric. In that case, the heat will probably play havoc with the batteries.
5
I think it's pointless to fight about it because the phrase hardly builds up business. Anyway, eating tacos at Taco Bell on Tuesday, can end up being "On the toilet Tuesday." If I go to Taco Bell on Thursday, then it's "Throw-Up Thursday." I got to rush down to the copyright office and register those phrases.
5
$300? That's awfully optimistic. It's probably closer to $3.00. :/
5
They were too busy holding up their cellphones thinking this will be good on YouTube.
5
The penalty for impersonating a parking lot attendant isn't instant death with no trial, although in this instance it was. Call the cops. Maybe punch the guy, but you don't shoot him. He'll probably now get life for that in Texas. Years ago in California a guy tried to scam me the same. He only wanted $5 for weekend parking in downtown L.A. Since I'm here typing this, you can figure out I didn't shoot him.
4
If he did seek reelection, I would have more of a chance of winning the Powerball jackpot, twice, than him winning.
4
Was that a mini stroke or seizure? Looking at his eyes it looked like has passed out but still was standing while his colleagues next to him did nothing.
4
I'm a city folk, not a country folk, and I know what a duck looks like. Maybe the teens knew too, but are using it as an excuse. Still, that isn't an excuse. They trespassed and took the animals.
